Hampton Inn & Suites Toledo-Perrysburg

We like their very large double king rooms. It seems they are going through renovations - wallpaper in hall was partially gone. Pool has been closed for a year. Breakfast was limited compared to past times. But that room is like no other so we still stay here

Everything was great except that the pool was closed because the heater was out. We specifically chose this hotel because our family was going to be there and they all wanted to swim so that was a big disappointment.

Friendly check in service, hallway on the 4th floor looked under construction- missing trim and about 2nd of wallpaper from the floor up. Tried to take a shower at 5am and no hot water

Breakfast was good. Friendly breakfast staff. Conveniently located near highway. Not far from Shopping and restaurants. Quiet. Front desk staff did not inform us on check-in that there was no room cleaning unless requested. Often no one at front desk. Multiple issues with room keys not working. Outdoor seating area with limited seating. Outdoor furniture dirty. Pool out of service indefinitely.

The staff was OK, the property looked tired. One of the two elevators was out of order. When arriving and going to my room, both Keys didn’t work. This happened the next two days also. They were out of coffee for breakfast for approximately 25 minutes.

Staff was nice but very out dated building, rooms, place. No pool and it hasn’t been available in 6months or more but website doesn’t tell you that. Terrible breakfast and pealing wall paper in the hallway. It felt like it was under construction but it wasn’t. We won’t stay there again

Nice hotel experience with a decent breakfast. The pool was out of order, and there is nowhere close enough to walk if you're looking for dining options. The staff was pleasant and the rooms were clean - would stay here again.

Was not pleased to arrive and be told that the pool was not working. We had a family trip and the kids wanted to swim. Also we were not informed we had to pay for parking. The charge showed up on card after we checked out.

It was amazing!! I’ve already booked my next stay, lol. Rooms were clean, huge and comfortable!! Staff was friendly, pool was clean but a smidgen chilly, loved the work out room!!

Filthy hotel. Not at all like the Hampton Inns we have stayed at. Room was stinky and musty. Mold in the shower, no conditioner, phone was 100 years old. Terrible experience.

Hotel is a bit on the older side, cleanliness was fair but the dark brown carpet is off putting and dingy. Bathroom counters are not kid friendly, the front counter rim is so wide, it’s hard for kids to lean over to get to the basin.

I figured since I’d stayed at Hampton Inn in Mechanicsburg, PA on Thursday and the Hampton Inn Rockville Center, NY on Friday and both of those were fabulous I’d choose the Hampton Inn located in Perrysburg, OH on Saturday but that wasn’t a good choice. The building is very outdated and the room was damp and smelled that way too. There were also areas in the hallway that looked as though it had recently been treated for termites. I was really very close to asking for a different room but figured all the rooms were the same and it was only for one night. I have attached photos of the dirty and outdated furniture as well as the bathroom not having a soap dish and the greasy looking and feeling bathroom floor.

The staff were very courteous and helpful. The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet

Noisy corridors and sound transparent walls. Very few breakfast options, was a little better on the last visit on a weekday.

The beds and pillows are so comfortable, we always get a great nights sleep at this hotel!

Could not get the HVAC system to stop blowing cold air and provide heat. Staff person changed my room for one with working heat, but I had to wait at the front desk two or three times before she showed up.

The room was cold it would blow cold air then heat for a few minutes then cold again my husband’s kept his coat on overnight

We really enjoyed the large room since we were a party of four. Spacious,comfortable, and enough breakfast offerings. The pool also looked nice even though we didn’t have time to use it.

A major part of being able to be comfortable during one’s stay is to be able to set a comfortable temperature. The thermostat lower limit was set at 68 degrees, and there was no chance that the temperature ever approached that….yet the AC kept turning off anyway. Also, the breakfast options were not good.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The in room HVAC is terribly outdated and noisy, needing an update. We had to turn the unit off because of the vibration and noise.

I was disappointed for two reasons. One, I booked prior to the pool closing and I was not informed about it. If I would have known, I would have cancelled and booked elsewhere. The pool was the main thing that made me choose this hotel. The second reason was that we were not informed that we had to request the room to be serviced because they don’t do it daily. These things should be relayed to customers.

Jennifer at the front desk on night shift did an exceptional job of dealing with a distraught customer who had come to the wrong hotel. She was amazing. I do wish that there was more than one washer and dryer for guest laundry though.

The person working the front desk when I checked in-Kaylyn maybe?-was the sweetest and so incredibly helpful!

Stayed here twice in a three week period of time. Front desk staff was mostly absent and at times rude. Bed sheets did not fit king beds. Luggage carts were small and usually not available. And charging extra fee to park in an outdoor lot seems a bit excessive and not something I usually see in a hotel of this type. Second room I was in had broken shower door and burnt out lights and no staff available at checkout to mention. We won’t use this one again.

This is our go-to hotel and it has slowly been declining in quality. Lots of small things that need to be repaired: pool, ice machine,, side door lock etc. Beds still comfy and rooms big. They also messed up and gave someone else our room and a key when we were in there.

Rob was very helpful as we left early before breakfast and he offered us a snack for the road.

Super easy and fast check-in! Breakfast was mediocre but still the kids loved it! Pool was a little small but extremely clean. Only thing i wish that was better is my kids got SUPER stoked when they seen the sign for a Game Room. But when we realized there wasnt one, they got a little upset so they might need to remove the signs so it doesnt get kids excited. But overall it was a great stay and i would DEFINITELY recommend! We will be back!

The pool was closed so that was a bummer. The man at the front desk was amazing and went above and beyond. I did notice that it doesn’t seem that the front desk is always manned. When we first arrived we had to wait around for over 15 minutes before we saw any employee. During that time we called the hotel to see if maybe someone would hear the phone and come help. No one answered. If the front desk employees are expected to be away from the desk to fulfill other duties it might be a good idea to give them a phone to carry with them. We had to call the front desk a few times and could never get a hold of anyone. Even in the rooms the phones in there didn’t have an option for the front desk. My biggest complaint and the only thing that I felt was a detriment to our stay was the woman working the breakfast room… she has absolutely no business working with people. I watched her be completely rude to ALL of the guests that dared ask her a question. One gentleman went to ask if there was more bread for Toast and she was sitting in the kitchen with her feet propped up and watching something on her phone. She was slamming things around and when another guest,not with my party, poked her head in to ask if there was more waffle batter, she slammed the door in her face!! She seemed completely annoyed to be there and wasn’t even good at keeping things stocked. There were comments from other guests I overheard that she was rude. Other than that, the stay was great.

Overall, a very nice place to stay. It's convenient off the interstate. The staff at the front desk and breakfast area were EXCEPTIONAL!!!!!!!!

Kind of on a hotel island so not much else outside of the facility. But was easy in and out to other places.

The breakfast was missing the waffle maker and some much needed condiments. Kitchen staff seemed frustrated with those who should be placing orders and suppling the kitchen.

Very welcoming and friendly staff. Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and well stocked.

Most everything was great but the breakfast room on our 1st morning didn’t have waffle mix for breakfast or cream cheese for our bagels 😕
