Rooms were clean, Breakfast was good, They have a Shuttle that takes you to and from the Notre Dame Games, which I thought was wonderful, I didn't know that till the day of the game, We'll definatly stay here again when we come back for another Notre Dame game and take the shuttle next time. They're are plenty of shops near by too!

Booked a queen 2 bedroom.. only room available was a king room with 1 bed, elevator was broke had to take stairs and that was painful since my husband recently had back surgery and i recently had a knee replacement.. all the trash cans were overflowing in breakfast area and outside.

Pool area was closed by the health department for bacteria. We could hear every time someone left their room (all night long). We could connect to the WI-FI but had no internet. Couldn't connect phones or other devices to the TV. TV was mounted crooked on the wall. And it still seems odd to me that the elevator has a steel door in front of it.

Yes room was clean had a great stay. Breakfast was great also different varieties and options. Morning staff very nice only problem I had was my first night I was lied to. About the pool hours that it closed at 5:30pm but it really close at 10pm. so I didn’t get to enjoy the pool on both night. And on your website it shows jacuzzi one of the main reasons I booked there, to enjoy that relax. But y’all no longer have it but I still enjoy the pool the 2nd night. Other than them too problems everything else was great. Thank you

Disappointed that the pool and hot tub were down for service and there was no notification online indicating that and the situation had not just occurred as was evident by the empty dry tub with tape across it. I had moved my reservation to this location from across the street when their pool went down and they alerted me to that change. The desk person at check in didn't seem to understand my question about the pool and hot tub situation. They also didn't update their online information for future travelers. I won't return to this location.

If you’re just looking for a cheap place to stay that is pretty clean. This is the place for you. The facility looks either very old or they have not made any updates. Breakfast is only until 9am so keep that in mind. The elevator sounded like it had not been serviced in a long time. It was loud and shaky. I probably won’t stay here again until they make some updates.

The toilet had debris in it, from whomever used it last. There was literally hair all over the bathroom when we arrived. It was obvious the room has not been vacuumed nor surfaced wiped down.

NOT a clean property by any means. Sheets were dirty, bathroom had hair on the floor. Tv was barely working and then there was the pillows. I have bigger throw pillows on my couch. It was ridiculous. No extra blankets nor pillows. Bad establishment

The place is disgustingly filthy. I killed a cockroach within the first hour. The pool has a dirty, brown stain, where the water line meets the wall. The pool wall was white below the water line and brown as dirt 4 to 6 inches high from the line. The bathrooms appeared clean, but under the counter and sink was a layer of grime and dirt which must have taken months to accumulate.

Very disappointed in how dirty the property was. In the room there was a drink stirrer on the floor and and used bar of soap in the shower. Elevator floor was dirty and your shoes stuck to the floor. Hallway floors need a good cleaning. The beds were very comfortable.

The facility was not clean. The fitness center was missing half of the free weights. I was in town for work and stopped by my room to get something in the middle of the day. I saw roaches coming out in the bathroom and immediately packed up and left.

I've never had a hotel experience quite like this one. This property looks really average on the outside, and the clientele is on the sketchy side. But don't judge a book by its cover...this place is unbelievably clean and well maintained. My room was immaculate. The bedding and towels were well worn, but absolutely spotless. It smelled good and felt fresh. It's been years since I walked down the hall at a hotel and didn't smell weed. It doesn't bother me. They all smell like that now. But this hotel is so damn fresh and clean that I'm pretty sure people are just scared to bring weed in. They go sit in their cars. I'm dead serious. No joke...it's crazy how clean this place is. I was blown away.

Sheets were clean but with residual “stains”. Front desk did not answer phone. Curtains are designed not to close so besides privacy, exterior flood lights prevent darkened room. Carpet is tacky and room has a smell. That may be why AC set to 66. OTH, staff is nice. If this is “Plus”, not sure what base accommodations are.

We chose this site because we stayed in a really nice Best Western Plus the night before. But the 2 places were totally different. There were small spots on the carpet and it had not been fully vacuumed. Areas behind furniture looked like they had not been cleaned in months. There was dust on the lamp and clock. Furniture was old with a rip in the chair and wood stripping was torn off the bureau. We could hear people in the room above stomping. Cups and pods were set out for a Keurig, but the piece that holds the pod was torn off. The hotel we stayed in the night before had better breakfast options and was cleaner.

First room we were assigned to did not have any A/C. Was relocated to a room that did not have enough towels for the 4 people that were staying in the room (3). Was provided a bath mat x3 instead of washcloths when asked at the front desk. Found several dead stink bugs in the room. Lights in bathroom not fully functional.

The AC in our room only worked sporadically so the room got stuffy and humid. We didn't realize it was a problem until we'd already moved in and got ready for bed, so we didn't alert the management until morning.

The hotel is very old and has poor light in the rooms. The elevator sounds like it’s about to break down and the rooms were so hot during peak winter no matter how low you put the thermostat. If you just want a cheap place to stay that is decent in cleanliness, this is your place

Free breakfast area was not very clean. Garbage overflowing. Not much food out (example one box of fruit loops in the holder) 2 apples really? Also, tv remote did not work. From the old ages!!! Could not watch tv at night. Outdated to say the least. However, the bed was comfortable. Shuttle to Notre Dame a plus also.

The elevator had sticky floor and it was dirty. The toilet was not working and one drawer from the TV table did not close. I had to change room, and the other room the drawer didn't close either. Since we changed rooms they didn't registered it, so they came and open my room while we where there, thinking it was emply. And the last two days they didn't clean the room. Did not like it, despite the good location. I will never stay there.

Our room smelled terrible when we arrived. Staff seemed inconvenienced when we asked to change rooms. They did switch us to a different room the next day, but we had to wait for the manager. Manager seemed annoyed. New room smelled but not nearly as bad as the first one. The windows did not stay open at all, not Even a little. The air conditioning barely seemed to work in either room, found bugs in the first room. Would not even offer a discount for the first night - I get it was a concert weekend so they raised the room rates, but this was aweful I should have believed all the negative reviews- this doesn’t deserve A rating of 7, more like a 2. Will never stay here again and will be reporting this place to corporate and disputing with my credit card!

Upon arrival, the host said that we reserved a single king room when we clearly reserved a double queen room. I showed the host my reservation with two queens in the app but he acted like it was Travelocity’s mistake and tough luck. Host was very rude.

Really enjoyed staying here. The bed was very comfortable, staff friendly, my dog felt right at home, and most of all I felt safe during a very unsafe time. Thank you to the staff.

The front desk staff is helpful and pleasant. We accidentally left a coat in a closet when we stayed two weeks ago. A simple phone call was made and the coat was waiting for us when we stayed last weekend!

Rooms were clean, Breakfast was good, They have a Shuttle that takes you to and from the Notre Dame Games, which I thought was wonderful, I didn't know that till the day of the game, We'll definatly stay here again when we come back for another Notre Dame game and take the shuttle next time. They're are plenty of shops near by too!

We stayed here for South Bend Gameday. We enjoyed the stay as it was very clean and quiet. We were able to easily get to and from the stadium from this hotel.

The hotel is in a great location and close to Notre Dame, as well as the highway. The hotel was in ok condition, as the carpets NEED replaced, however the room was comfortable once in bed and clean otherwise.

When checking in there was a dispute going on. They gave me a room that was not clean or made up. The kids in the hall said that was their Dad's room and apparently he was kicked out. I felt unsafe so I asked for my money back and he did refund. Please make sure I was refunded.

A standard Midwest hotel… not awful just fine. Carpet in our room felt vaguely damp almost like after a carpet cleaning. Location to ND is good… and decent access to interstate. Staff was polite.

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was awful as the waffle maker was broken and pretty much everything else was stale. Hot tub was broken. Our toilet in our room was not operational. The heater air conditioner unit was not operational the TV remote was broken.

This was a family weekend and the room my son stayed in had no heat and the Mgr was in no hurry to have it fixed! The breakfast was horrible. They had cereal but no milk. Runny eggs, no fruit no danish no toast or muffins. We will never stay at this hotel again.

Yes room was clean had a great stay. Breakfast was great also different varieties and options. Morning staff very nice only problem I had was my first night I was lied to. About the pool hours that it closed at 5:30pm but it really close at 10pm. so I didn’t get to enjoy the pool on both night. And on your website it shows jacuzzi one of the main reasons I booked there, to enjoy that relax. But y’all no longer have it but I still enjoy the pool the 2nd night. Other than them too problems everything else was great. Thank you

Free breakfast area was not very clean. Garbage overflowing. Not much food out (example one box of fruit loops in the holder) 2 apples really? Also, tv remote did not work. From the old ages!!! Could not watch tv at night. Outdated to say the least. However, the bed was comfortable. Shuttle to Notre Dame a plus also.

Só fiquei uma noite. Achei o quarto velho demais, hotel sem manutenção. No café da manhã a única coisa que salvou foi a máquina de café que podíamos fazer cappucino. Não tinha nem baggel no café da manhã.

I would not ever stay in this hotel again. The rug on the floor was dreadful. It smelled stale, and it was torn at the entrance. The chair was spotted with dirt, and it smelled horrible. I had to spray the whole room with Lysol. The bed was so hard; I could not rest at all. It felt as if I had ridden a horse. My whole body was aching. When I went into the bathroom, there was hair on the sink and on the tub; the floor was dirty and sticky. I checked the shower, and the soap had been used. The soap bottle was open, and the shower walls were full of scum on them. When my guest flushed the toilet, the water ran to the top of the bowl, and he called the front desk to get someone to fix the toilet, but instead of them fixing the toilet, the front desk tapped on the door and left a plunger at the door. I called the front desk for additional pillows, and they brought me one. My guest has a broken foot, so he needs additional pillows, and I let the front desk know this when we checked in. Now I am home and checked my bill, and I am noticing they have charged me twice for a one-night stay.

Have stayed here a few times over the past year or so. Disappointed this time, I found a tick in my bed ( the front desk person was apologetic and offered a new room or a refund). Also noticed that garbage in the breakfast area and outside had not been emptied for days, obviously. Also disappointing they changed breakfast options.
