No one should ever stay here. Run!

Let me start by saying that it should be illegal for this establishment to put the word “Quality” next to anything these people do, say, or own. If this review is too long for you, that should speak volumes right there. We reserved a room a month in advance for our trip to GenCon. On the final leg of our journey, about an hour away, we were called and notified that our room had a “problem with the AC” and would not be available. They would not offer any compensation for this inconvenience, but did offer a refund of the room - or an alternative room. I should have taken the deal, and booked almost anywhere else. When we first arrived, I was immediately taken aback by the dark lighting, dingy conditions and cold atmosphere. It was something akin to a dive bar, and I was sure that we’d be staying in room 1408. Naturally, after many long hours on the road, the first thing we did was attempt to utilize their concessions for a drink. The grimy, greasy machine spat out its tiny portions of juice and water, which was a relief for the moment. These would be gone an hour later, presumably removed by the hotel staff to save on expenses. I should mention: another thing that surely could have become an issue was the parking lot. There were not nearly as many parking spaces as there were rooms – probably around 18 total parking spaces. As well, I saw a total of 2 different employees during my thankfully short visit – which definitely would explain the poor conditions.

After reviewing reviews, I was a bit concerned, but the more recent ones made me feel better. We were pleased with the little suite that gave my sister and I plenty of room. Visited for a spontaneous one-night getaway with the family. Had an accident that required me to need another night's stay. Adding the additional night was an incredibly smooth process, and I didn't even have to switch rooms. It's definitely no-frills, but the room was great with two TVs, two beds, and a pull-out couch.
