The property is very nice, however, the parking situation is a little crazy. You do not get free parking, should you choose the parking garage right next to the hotel. You pay a daily fee, or can choose a long walk with luggage from an open, outdoor parking lot across from the hotel; (that is free.) The garage should be free for guests, for the price you pay for the room. I understand charging non-guests a rate, however that should be complementary, or included in the price. The hotel does offer a vending area, Starbucks, (which doesn’t accept your SB rewards app,) restaurant, (breakfast is NOT included,) bar; all open only specified hours. Nice pool & jacuzzi, fitness area. It’s all walkable to the river & stadium is across the way.

The pool and spa area was ok. Spa was dirty and the jets didn’t work. Pool was ice cold. For being indoor in Kansas thought it would be heated!

Loved the view from the property. The gym is decent sized and has the basic things needed to get a pretty decent travel workout in. Staff was helpful. Store/Starbucks downstairs had a variety of beverages in the cold section and great options for healthy food needs. They also serve a few basic hot food options. Free refills on coffee! Room was clean amd well kept. Garage is attached and is easily accessible at all hours. Plenty of ballrooms amd meeting rooms for special occasions. I'll definitely visit again soon.

The parking garage elevator felt like a death trap. The one time we used it the cart rattled so much it felt like it had come loose and was about to crash. Hotel staff were so friendly and helpful! The building is past its prime but still in good shape. Breakfast was decent, but the kitchen manager was shouting condescending comments at the line cooks which drowned out everything else in the room. It was also frustrating having to wait for a check when everything was prepaid.

Parking garage has electric vehicle charging stations, which is partially why we chose the hotel. However are required to pay extra to park, most people who stay at hotels have to park, doesn’t seem appropriate on top of $250 night fee. I fully understand those only coming for a conference or ball room attendance.

I have stayed at this Hyatt several times and it’s my fave in Wichita. Except this time. My room was super dusty, finger prints everywhere. There was constant noise from 5-2 am. There was a party very loud in and out the door slamming constantly. There also were little kids nearby screaming and running. When brought to the staff attention after quiet hours, nothing was done. There was no tissues and the towels were not folded. I was very dissatisfied with my experience, especially for the amount of money I spent on the room.

I had to physically clean the floor of the bathroom as soon as I walked in. Hair everywhere. While using a dampened towel to wipe it, the towel became brown. This told me that i wasn’t just cleaning a large amount of hair, but also dirt. This washroom was not clean and I didn’t enjoy being in the room. The restaurant/bar staff was amazing though.

This is my second time staying at this property once in Nov 2024 and now in May 2025 both times they are still under renovation which is fine but when I checked in it was late at night and the bathroom was NOT CLEAN!!! I was disgusted! There was a long hair on the bathroom door, the counter looked like it still had make up on it and the bathroom mat was WET! I immediately called downstairs to report the issue but was exhausted so I went to sleep the next day I left the hotel at 7:30am and went straight to the front desk on my way out to reiterate that when I returned by 2pm I wanted the bathroom to smell like bleach and be cleaned from top to bottom. When I returned the room was untouched!!! At this point I'm still exhausted so I demanded to move to another room so I could sleep! They did nothing else, just moved me to one of the rooms that had recently been upgraded. I was literally at this hotel less than 36 hours and for $200+ a night this was definitely not worth it!!! Will not be staying here again.

This property was disgusting. After driving for 13 hours to get there we were met with a room that was filthy. The shower curtain had black mold all over it, the sheets were soiled, pullout couch was covered in stains. I kid you not when I say every inch of that room was filthy. We ended up going to target and buying new sheets and cleaning supplies to clean the place ourselves. Hotel management refused to discount our room or move us to another similar sized room. They told us they’d do a deep cleaning the next day, but we still found a dog bone in the corner of the room afterwards. This is the worst hotel we’ve stayed in in the past 10 years.

Everything was good with this 4 night stay except the hot water in shower was scalding hot..you had to run the water for like 15-20 min before it was bearable. The breakfast was on point and staff was 5 stars! Pillows and bed was nice.

Our stay was superb from checkin to checkout. Great location, wonderful accommodations (corner king room), restaurant and covered parking. The rooms have quality furniture, latest tech lighting, large screen tv and shower. We will stay here again when in Wichita!

Only thing I didn’t care for was that if you don’t get the meal and parking add on its $12 a day. If you do it comes with breakfast. $30 for two people plus parking isn’t a bad deal. We figured it comes out to $50 a day extra if you don’t. Coffee in the room was gross but otherwise the room was awesome. Stayed river side on the top floor and the sunset views were epic.

We like the hotel but a few hiccups. The attached shower amenities should be on opposite end of shower wall, not directly in elbow way. Also, the rooms have NO microwave. Found out they have one by the ice vending machine but only on the evan floors.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay here :) Pros: It was nice to be central in Wichita - close to the river walk, museums, baseball stadium, Delano, and Old Town. The staff was really nice and helpful as well! Beds and pillows were comfortable, great view, and the room was clean. The gym was tidy had great equipment for use and the pool was lovely. We felt secure in the building and in the parking garage. Cons: I know it's important to update hotels as they age, however, the updates at this particular Hyatt feel cheap. The lobby feels stark and over homogenized, the furniture is so simple it doesn't fill the space, there are bright white LED bulbs that cast a green/blue tinge to everything and seemed to spotlight every flaw in the carpet/walls/trim (the hallways were worse as the light was SO bright. I beg you, warm the light up. It felt like a step away from fluorescent bulbs.) Yes, the hotel was clean, but it didn't feel warm and welcoming. It seems to have succumbed to the "greige mod" trend that every house flipper has used to "update" their property. The personality is missing, and this hotel used to feel more grandiose and welcoming. We could also hear everything in the room next to ours: their alarm going off for TWENTY minutes at 5am, the TV until 1:30am, even conversation at what seemed like a normal volume. I'm not sure if every room has an adjoining option, but if we stayed again, I would request a room without that feature.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay here :) Pros: It was nice to be central in Wichita - close to the river walk, museums, baseball stadium, Delano, and Old Town. The staff was really nice and helpful as well! Beds and pillows were comfortable, great view, and the room was clean. The gym was tidy had great equipment for use and the pool was lovely. We felt secure in the building and in the parking garage. Cons: I know it's important to update hotels as they age, however, the updates at this particular Hyatt feel cheap. The lobby feels stark and over homogenized, the furniture is so simple it doesn't fill the space, there are bright white LED bulbs that cast a green/blue tinge to everything and seemed to spotlight every flaw in the carpet/walls/trim (the hallways were worse as the light was SO bright. I beg you, warm the light up. It felt like a step away from fluorescent bulbs.) Yes, the hotel was clean, but it didn't feel warm and welcoming. It seems to have succumbed to the "greige mod" trend that every house flipper has used to "update" their property. The personality is missing, and this hotel used to feel more grandiose and welcoming. We could also hear everything in the room next to ours: their alarm going off for TWENTY minutes at 5am, the TV until 1:30am, even conversation at what seemed like a normal volume. I'm not sure if every room has an adjoining option, but if we stayed again, I would request a room without that feature.

I have stayed at this Hyatt several times and it’s my fave in Wichita. Except this time. My room was super dusty, finger prints everywhere. There was constant noise from 5-2 am. There was a party very loud in and out the door slamming constantly. There also were little kids nearby screaming and running. When brought to the staff attention after quiet hours, nothing was done. There was no tissues and the towels were not folded. I was very dissatisfied with my experience, especially for the amount of money I spent on the room.

The woman who checked me in was incredibly rude. I hate feeling so unwelcome and like such an inconvenience to be checking in. She rolled her eyes at me when I had a question and did everything to get me out of her way as quick as possible. I thought about changing my reservation and going to another hotel but I was so tired I decided to stay. I was very happy with the room. The room was clean and comfortable. Room service was amazing and the gentleman who delivered was so nice and helpful! They just need better staff at the front desk.

Got charged by hotels.com and again by hyatt during checkout except even more the second time. Cant figure out how to reach anyone so a stay i thought would be around 300 is now closer to 800... hope someone gets back to me!

I was told by two different check in staff that my breakfast was included in the price. When I checked out I was told I owed money for breakfast. Also they would not validate my parking ticket until I paid for the breakfast. Very disappointing

We booked the room with river view, we were not given the room with river view. The staff promised to give us a discount on the room and free parking to make up for it. But I checked the receipt today, the staff did not lower the rate for the room without river view. We did got free parking. We felt the staff were not honest.

Josh checked us in when we first arrived. He was incredibly rude and dismissive. He then looked my partner and I up and down and asked if we wanted a room with two beds instead of the room we booked with One. We were terribly offended. do you ask all of your guests who come as same-sex couples if they want two beds or one? It was not the highlight of our trip. When we got to our room, you could clearly see that by the couch had not been swept. There was dirt and crumbs of some sort on the floor. We were too tired to make a complaint. The best part of our trip was breakfast Marci was amazing! She was kind and attentive and the nicest person we met the entire time we were there thank you Marci for giving us a beautiful morning. We loved your smile!

My wife and I showed up 2 hours well past check in time and they didn’t have a room ready. Said they would have one in an hour. We had to find something to do for an hour while lugging our baggage around. We had already parked in the parking garage which charges by the hour. We ultimately decided to go back to the car. Had to pay for parking for the 20 minutes it took to get told the room wasn’t ready. Never received a text about the room being available until after I called to check on it in person. So back to the parking garage we go, to pay another fee for the second time. We were not offered any parking reimbursement nor any supplemental offers to make up for the inconvenience. After sitting at the restaurant in the hotel for 25 minutes, we were told they are shutting the kitchen down to orders because they are so far behind. My wife wasn’t even served the wine she ordered as soon as we were sat. Overall it was a poor experience, and I honestly expected more from such an upscale hotel.

The staff were wonderful. The hotel is right next to a river and when I went for a walk I encountered lots of homeless people drunk and wanting to cause issues. Yelling etc. I was not happy with that so careful while going for a walk. The hotel was great. Breakfast was awesome too. Staff was wonderful!

We hadn't stayed in this hotel in over a decade. The food and service was terrific for dinner and breakfast. We will definitely be returning. We met the head of Food and Beverage. He is an impressive man and we really confident he will continue to make positive changes to attract more customers back.

Great site overall. We will say that the bed was too firm for our comfort plus, the price of the room did not justify us having to pay for breakfast and parking at the hotel. However, we will be willing to stay here another time.

The hotel was nice and we loved the bar. The breakfast was very good. The lunch and dinner options were very limited and the hotel is starting to look a little run down. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

The blankets on the beds had stains on them we have pictures. I paid for breakfast and parking and had reserved 2 rooms with 2 adults and 2 children 1. 13 and 1. 16 and we had to pay for breakfast again after I already paid for breakfast and parking for the rooms. When we checked in he tried to tell me I didn’t pay for parking which breakfast and parking were the only option to pick together. I have yet to receive my $200 back for incidentals. I’m just not happy with how things were not clearly stated and how we were treated because we didn’t know. The breakfast staff was the most friendly professional people of the whole experience.

During check-in, the staff member at the desk remained on the phone throughout the process without acknowledging me. After finishing their call, they briefly said "hi," then asked if I needed parking and pointed toward the elevators—with no directions, despite this being my first visit to the property. Upon entering my room, I found the floor hadn't been vacuumed and was littered with white feathers and peanuts. The situation worsened when I left and returned: I wasn't given directions to the garage , so I exited outside, only to discover dog feces throughout the sidewalks. My son and I tracked it back to our room on our shoes. When I reported this sanitation issue to the front desk the next morning, I was simply told "thank you for telling us"—with no offer of assistance or apology. For a property of this caliber, this level of service and maintenance is completely unacceptable.

Incredible all around! Amazingly clean and modern place. Super friendly staff and possibly the best food I've ever eaten at a hotel. Will only be staying here when traveling to Wichita.
