The room had pretty comfortable beds and large well lit parking lot. The bathtub/shower was showing a bit of wear/staining and there was some overspray from painting the bathroom walls onto shower surround but overall appeared clean. Totally fine for our quick overnight.

The property was old and not terribly well maintained. The room itself was o.k., but the bathtub was discolored and stained. Front desk on Saturday and Sunday was not interested in dealing with customers at all - basically ignoring me until I requested a receipt. The advertised breakfast was sad - the food was out in the evening - and the same food was out in the morning. No amenities except for a dishwasher and dryer in the lobby area. Not at all what I had expected in a property endorsed by AAA.

A very nice clean room. Desk agent very friendly and welcoming. If you don't do stairs, this isn't the place for you. No elevator. Definitely would stay again.

The parking lot was under construction so access was slightly awkward but on the whole it is a simple, functional and fairly priced option for Pella.

I've only been to two Super 8s so far and for a first experience at this one, it was very nice. Staff were polite and friendly, room was clean, and the halls/common areas were also very clean and nice too look at.

The room was not throughly cleaned. There was food left in the fridge, hair in the tub, a dried up worm on the bathroom floor, and a pair of eye contacts left on the table.

I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms. The pillows were dirty, dusty, floor was not swept, hair in shower yuck! The service was good. Lighting had struck the building a few days before our stay and not all the electronics were completely fixed, which was not the hotels fault. Our TV & phone did not work. The hotel personnel came and tried to fix TV, couldn't fix so he gave us a different room. The new room was much cleaner. My sisters room was not clean. She wiped down the table tops, cleaned the bathroom counter top wiped down floor had sticky stuff on floor, towels were brown when she was done.

The sheets were thread bare and scratchy. The comforter had a hole in it. The smell of the property is unpleasant. The shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. The dirt streaks in the shower made you not want to touch anything. The front staff was nice. Very old hotel/motel and no updates. Probably won't stay there again.

Room was clean, although the bathroom vent fan in room 215 would stall occasionally, should be changed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would like to see some enhancements to the continental breakfast. More variety and better ingredients. Overall happy with the quality of the room and the price.

We stopped in Pella on our way to the Iowa Star Fair. What a lovely Dutch town. We stopped and got some goodies at one of the local bakeries. Best ever!! We went in to the fair. On our way home we decided we wanted to explore this quaint little town and I pulled up hotels. This hotel was close to college. It was very quiet in the area. The room was nice and it was really clean. We heard little noice from outside so we had a quiet night and sleep. Breakfast was a grab and go. We never saw anyone that morning that worked there! We left our key in the drop box that morning. And headed to our next stop. We would definitely stay here again. Next time on main level. Steps to second level.

This was less than ideal. Under construction which meant no breakfast, no front desk attendant on duty (housekeeping checked us in), bath tub was gross and towels looked like they were used as grease rags….so stained. Would not recommend anyone to stay there.

Basic, clean hotel. I was kind of expecting more from a super 8, but this hotel got the job done. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very disappointing, probably one of the worst I have ever had. The cereal was stale, and very little options..

Overall a good place to stay. Big issue were the towels did not seem very clean or did the shower. The breakfast did not have much of a selection

This was less than ideal. Under construction which meant no breakfast, no front desk attendant on duty (housekeeping checked us in), bath tub was gross and towels looked like they were used as grease rags….so stained. Would not recommend anyone to stay there.

The rooms and lobby have been updated, but the outside looks very run down....i was concerned when we pulled up that we were going to have to find another motel! The staff was nice. The breakfast was simple, but got the job done. Their juice machine had several offerings, but only one worked and there was no indication that this was the case. Overall, it was quiet and clean and i would consider staying there in the future.

The breakfast was good. No ironing board or iron in the room but staff set me up with one right away. There was a band aid stuck to the garbage can bag in the bathroom. The room was worth the price; the hotel is not as bad as the reviews, in my opinion.

Room was clean, although the bathroom vent fan in room 215 would stall occasionally, should be changed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would like to see some enhancements to the continental breakfast. More variety and better ingredients. Overall happy with the quality of the room and the price.

The best thing about this hotel was that the bathroom sink and toilet and floor and even the woodwork were very clean. However, the bathtub/shower was an inserted kind and it was pealing. When I first saw it I thought it was dirty but it wasn't, but it looked really bad. The bed was clean and comfortable. The walls appeared to have been painted recently and looked nice. The air conditioner cooled okay, but when it came on, there was a very nasty moldy smell coming out of it. I could smell that moldy smell when I walked into the room. I had to have it on because when I arrived it was 100 degrees outside. That needs to be cleaned because breathing in mold is very harmful to your heath. The continental was okay and the coffee was good. If the air conditioners were to be cleaned so the room would smell better and the air safe to breathe, I would stay here again. But I can't recommend this place unless the air conditioners are cleaned and the air is safe to breathe.
