We stayed 2 nights. The laundry room didnt work so we couldn't dry our clothes. The edge of the bed frame stuck out so i hit my ankle all the time. Pool was small but kids loved it.

Check in I had to use the phone to call and when got to the front he helped the people who was walking up after me like I wasn’t standing there … the bathroom had mold on the ceiling and walls, towels smelt like cigarette smoke had to as for more … 2nd day they suggest to set out the trash and towels to be taken out and towels replaced well they took the trash and towels but never gave any towels back … breakfast was actually ok not bad to be free and the women who kept it stocked was nice… night time kids running up and down halls all night and hitting walls… the gym the treadmill was out of order and the bike was missing pedals…

The hotel needs some updating! The elevator worked, but a little scary! The hotel had a smell to it! The pool was a green color, the kids skin itched when they were done! The room was plenty big for 5 of us with the pullout couch. It served its purpose after a long day at Holiday World!

The Baymont is a great property. We especially liked the breakfast options and our room. Our only issue was the pool area — there is an “exit” door in the pool area to a smoking area outside. The door itself slams shut every time someone goes through the door, so hard, that I was waiting for the glass on the door to break. It is in indoor pool so the slam echoed very loudly. It was extremely bothersome. One night, I was in the pool area near the door for about an hour and a half, and that door must have slammed shut 2-3 dozen times! I called the front desk the next day and asked if they could fix the closing mechanism so the door would not continue to slam. She said they would have it looked at asap, but by the time we left (days later), it still hadn’t been fixed (and they have a maintenance person who lives onsite). Also, I let the front desk person know that marijuana was also being smoked outside that back door (which is illegal in Indiana), but she didn’t seem to care much.

Breakfast- they dont have an extra waffle maker. Had a wait for 20mins to make my own waffles. I had breakfast at 9am and tables werent clean, trash was full, and hardly any eggs or sausages was left, but they replaced it after being there for 12mins. Wish they had yogurt, other fruit instead of apples, and enough creamer for the coffee because whatever coffee they used wasnt great. Pool was cold, and a bit dirty. Rooms- slept well , cleaned, and comfy. Front desk- friendly and took care of any issues with my bill.

This was one of the worst hotels i have stayed. The rooms had poop on the wall and something dried on the phone. The sinks were rusted, bed was hard, no wifi, and the pool was nasty and snelled like bleach. My toilet got clogged after 1 night. And the rooms were small. Everything in the rooms were ancient. It needs a remodel and good deep cleaning.

The positive, Close to Holiday World. After long day got to room. Although no emergency happened the smoke detector just had wires hanging out. When turned back the covers blood on the sheets. The room and hallway smelled musky, Only one person working the desk. The breakfast, options are fine for continental but it was ran chaotically. They didn’t keep what was offered filled, such as eggs & sausage. I truly sound like a complainer but typically I rarely do. For the price of the room and the brand of hotel, I expected more.

We walked into our room and immediately saw a bed bug crawling on the pillow on the bed. We went to request another room in which they accommodated only to find bed bugs on the walls, under the sheets and in the bathroom. The room was completely infested. The front desk lady was very understanding but when calling the owner or manager they seemed to be resisting her giving us a refund. We will not return to this location on the future.

This was the worst hotel I’ve ever been to, upon check-in we found our room dirty. The toilet had not been cleaning from the previous people stay, the linens on the bed were disgustingly, stains and dirty, and have not looked like they’ve been washed from the previous people. We requested management to look at the room, she instructed us to move rooms after we had already checked in the second room we went to was almost as bad. Floors had cigarette burns all over the bathtub. Looks like it was falling apart, the sheets and pillowcases had to be changed on the second room, the front lobby was dirty beyond belief and it was not check out check in time. It looks like it’s a very unkept facility. We did not stay our second night because the place was so disgusting. We felt like making the drive home four hours away was better than staying a second night in this hotel. I would really like for somebody to contact me to make things right.

Rooms stunk of mildew and ammonia. There were actually two rooms we were shown. Every room including a third one had a dehumidifier in it. The air in the last room was damp as well. With someone having bronchial issues, these conditions were not healthy nor conducive. When the on duty manager was told about the odor, I saw him spraying something in the hallway to mask the smell. The carpet was not clean as shoes stuck to it. There was black mold in the shower. When taking a hand towel off the towel rack, the towel rack came off the wall.

The place was run down and had a smell to it. The room looked ok, but the linens and towels were stained, stink bugs smelling it up, and the worst part was that there were roaches. We packed up to leave and told the person behind the counter about the issues and he didnt seem to care or act like he was surprised.

This hotel was disgusting. It smelled horrible, like must and mildew. It was dirty, I never once saw a housekeeper. It was completely outdated and basically needs to be gutted and redone. We had SOMEONE ELSE'S socks behind the TV stand, so clearly the room was not clean. There were dead stink bugs in the windowsill, and I squashed 3 more while we were there. It looked like there were boogers on one of the walls. Carpet just looked filthy. The linen closet door was left open, and we saw the filth inside there. GROSS. Highly recommend you find somewhere else to stay and not here.

ROACHES. There were baby roaches crawling around the coffee machine in the lobby. There was a giant roach crawling in the hallway by the front check in desk. I told a lady that was working there. She threw the towel that was in her hand on it and killed it, then looked up at me and laughed. Our king size room was not properly cleaned. There was a used bath towel still hanging on the inside of the bathroom door. There were also spare blankets that were unfolded on top of the clothing rack, also indicating it was not properly cleaned after the previous guest's stay. Also, the front staff was unfriendly. It is a very dirty hotel. I would never stay here again, not even if it was free!

It was a prettt basic room. Definitely needed updating. The TV was extremely small. The WiFi was extremely slow (we had to disconnect my son’s iPad and our streaming stick we take with us) because the wifi was so awful and never had this issue with other hotels. At check out we alerted the front desk that there was literally no water pressure in the sink. Barely anything to even wash our hands (I wish I was exaggerating). We also had to alert the front desk that the faucet in the bathtub was about to come ont of the wall. (The front desk lady stated something about damage from a prior person but definitely from poor maintenance). It was clean. But my question is that, how did housekeeping not notice these big issues with no water pressure and the faucet? The curtains leaked a ton of light in the morning also, which woke our son up extremely early.

Room was very run down, sink was stained and the paint peeling in the room and bathroom. There were only 6 working television channels and the vending machine was nearly emptied of drinks. The ONLY options to eat are Denny’s and Wendy’s. They are NOT within walking distance and there is no gas station, or small store to shop at. The one staff member was very kind and the pool area was well-maintained.

Booked for a one night rest stop while driving. The staff we saw was very nice. The hotel is no frills, but clean and includes a hot breakfast. We did not use the pool facilities. Nice a quiet, we only saw 1 other guest. Wi-fi wasn't great, streaming tv options wouldn't play, but we didn't attempt to troubleshoot.

Lobby had a terrible smell when walking in, rooms need updated, and television service was terrible. Tried using Amazon app on the tv and it just constantly buffered. Would definitely not stay here again unless the rooms get some tlc.

The pillows were too small and when we asked for 2 additional pillows, we were told they did not have any additional. The wi-fi was awful at night. There were not enough channels on the tv. There was not much of variety. I was not able to watch the Today show in the morning.

We had a decent room to lay our heads after driving fifteen minutes back from Holiday World. The shower, toilet, sink, fridge, and AC all worked well. The bathroom needs some work to be more presentable, but it met our needs. The breakfast was decent. We enjoyed the waffles. The sausage looked a little odd so we didn’t try it. Would prefer milk in its original containers instead of pitchers so we could see the expiration date. Small carton milk like at schools would be preferred. The coffee was not good. It was bitter and the creamer didn’t help. There was only half and half, which is ok with good coffee, but when it’s not good coffee I would prefer flavored creamer. There wasn’t a Starbucks or any other coffee spot nearby so we attempted to make the most of it. The employees are all nice. Helpful, smiled, and provided a good experience. One suggestion…if you are running a hotel in an English speaking country it would be beneficial to you to be more fluent in English. Again, all of the employees were good, communication was just a little difficult.

Great place to stay for our group. I agree with some of the other reviews that the facility could use some updates and love, but it really wasn’t bad at all. Our rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff was kind and helpful. We had a good stay and would come back.

Currently been waiting over a week for the general manager of the property to contact me about the state of the hotel rooms we stayed in from August 7 through August 9. After several calls to the hotel itself and an email I’ve had to reach out to corporate to address the situation. I have never had such a bad experience with a Baymont hotel.

The guy working the night shift seemed like we were bothering him when we checked in. The rooms close to the front doors have lights shining in then all night long. Breakfast was from 6:30-9:30am. By 8am everything was empty and not being restocked. Couldn't find anyone to restock the breakfast. But when it was time to check out there was someone available.

Family members were stared down and harassed by front desk clerk when entering on the next morning. He followed them to the elevator demanding the room number of the room. When we got upstairs, the key cards were deactivated. Had to go back down and get them corrected. Same rude man who obviously didn't take too kindly to African American guests! Had to speak with supervisor regarding this unacceptable behavior!

Had a great 3 day stay. Perfect for us. Close to Holiday World. Only about 10 minute drive each day. Great pool, great service. Breakfast was ok, good selection, just ran out of hot items quick. Hotel was clean, just needs new carpets throughout. Will stay again.

Room was very run down, sink was stained and the paint peeling in the room and bathroom. There were only 6 working television channels and the vending machine was nearly emptied of drinks. The ONLY options to eat are Denny’s and Wendy’s. They are NOT within walking distance and there is no gas station, or small store to shop at. The one staff member was very kind and the pool area was well-maintained.

The hotel is not located near much, not even a gas station. The elevator made a weird noise and sounded like it was dropping every time it stopped. The rooms were dim and there was a spot on the top cover on the bed. Morning breakfast was good, except they didn’t have any honey for tea.

This hotel was nice and had food and gas near by. Short easy drive to Holiday World. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. They had a pretty nice breakfast in the morning which had lots of options avaliable. I recommend this hotel for an easy close stay to Holiday World

Was here for a short night after visiting Holiday World Halloween event. Room was clean, plenty of amenities from mini fridge to a microwave to use. Bathroom was kinda small as I am a bigger person. Wife disliked the coffee that they provided but what can you expect. Breakfast choices were great (Sausage, eggs, Waffles, fruit, cereal) Juice machine was down but they provided their own apple juice and milk as drinks for the breakfast. Bed was comfortable along with the couch that was also in the room.

Checkin went well. The room was clean but it did have an overwhelming smell, at least in our room on the first floor. Was not impressed with the breakfast, Curdled Cream, Watered down Orange Juice and the waffle mix was very very runny, lumpy and had a discoloured look. At this point did not trust to try the sausage and eggs, so cannot comment on these items. Given the price, I guess I expected a better experience, my first time at a Baymont.

Check-in was painless. The room was clean and in good condition, though the display on the air conditioner had some damage so that is did not display a readable temperature. The unit itself worked fine and kept the room comfortable. The pool was a nice treat after a long drive. The provided breakfast was more than adequate. I like when you can make your own fresh waffles! The only complaint of consequence we had was that the internet was spotty. We had difficulty streaming a movie on Tubi in the evening. We ended up finishing it in the morning. I'm guessing this was just a consequence of staying in rural Indiana.

Hotel was okay, wasn't filthy but was kinda old and worn looking. We asked for more pillows and was told that there was only one extra pillow for whole hotel. Breakfast bar was decent, food kinda bland, but trying to get thru from all the rude people was a chore.

The room needed to be fully remodeled. There was cracks in the sink that cannot be fixed, all around the room edges and doors was years of dust and evidence of poor housekeeping. The lights next to the bed can barely be turned on with the worn out switches. There was a live beetle in a drawer, not a roach, and a damp odor to the room. We asked a nearby housekeeper to vacuum the rug, as it had nail clippings and other debris in various places. The toilet/tub room had such a dim light you could barely see what you were doing. There’s no reason for such poor lighting with LED lights available. The sink faucet was worn out and didn’t work easily. The TV was small and ancient. We stayed at a different Baymont the next day that was much newer and cleaner.
