Americas Best Value Inn Galesburg

It was a good stay, still currently staying . Hallways could be better clean and trash builds up outside . I’m just a little frustrated that ownership did not discuss they would be spraying the pavement with new asphalt. The company they hired sprayed right next to my car and around while I was at work instead of communicating beforehand that operations was going to be taken place in their parking lot . No Compensation or at the very least a sorry or car wash. Just frustrated because this could’ve been avoided.

The staff were great but our room left much to be desired. The dead bolt was missing part of it so it didn't work, and all you had to do was turn the door handle to exit the room (we had a toddler with us so this was a nightmare to secure him). One of the mattresses coils was shot on the left side so i felt like i was going to roll out of the bed the whole time. The breakfast was small but nice, but no chairs or tables to really sit outside the room to eat.

We have stayed here before I can say that they definitely did some of upgrades which was nice. However, the AC didn’t work very great when coming down the steps there was a soft spot in the floor. Somebody that was cooking on the second floor made the hallway Stinky. But the worst part is we stayed there Saturday today is Friday and I am still waiting on my deposit to be deposited back to my card. I have called them twice. They said they sent the deposit back to me. However, I still have not received it.

Traveling through and stopped to sleep 7 hours. Very clean and quiet

Everything was great! The bed was comfortable. Location is convenient. Air conditioning worked great! No complaints. I would love to stay there again.
