Was run down some for the price. Didnt like the entry to rooms was outside. Didn't know know pool and hot tub was outside. Was to hot to go during the day. Want to use hot tub while it was after hours due to being hot but they wouldn't open it

Clean room. Wish the pool/hot tub hours would stay open later so guests could enjoy the hot tub at night. Overall i would stay here again.

Good hotel, breakfast was good and the restaurant attached is good. Kids enjoyed pool and splash pad. We enjoyed the hot tub. Bed was comfy. Would definitely come back.

Rooms were ok, but the hot tub and pool were green and cloudy. Staff was pleasant. Didn’t pay for a room just to swim, so not terribly upset at least room was clean.

The hot tub was unusable. Was cold. I told many staff members and none of them took it serious. I would like a partial rebate on my fees. I booked this hotel because of the hot tub.

We booked a two rooms. Both had a serious fly problem we had 3 to 4 flies in my room and around two flies in the other room. I had to buy fly swatters. Plus the pool was nasty . Dead bugs everywhere it looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in months

What I didn’t like is that we were never able to get into hot tub cause there was a group of people sitting around socializing and drinking for the whole time. This was never addressed.

Pool, slplash pad, drink machines were awesome, room very clean. I would recommend it highly.

Stayed at this hotel before going to Holiday World. Great for the cost! Has a Mexican restaurant in it as well which is nice. Pool looked very nice, however we did not use it. Would definitely return!

DO NOT BOOK the facility is not in good shape at all. We stayed 2 nights 2 rooms 7/16-7/17 so we checked this person was awesome. So we go to room dont look it over much just had long day Holiday World. So next day notice the ceiling in sink area was all stained the latch lock was missing. The tub would barely drain. Complained to front desk lady with long gray hair response was "uhh uhh ok". So we go to holiday world the next day we get back about 7 eat. Thinking we could then enjoy pool but a bunch kids many unsupervised. They were very unruly diving off the edge of pool head first. They kept bumping splashing my wife with their dangerous behavior. So i went to front desk because when i tried to call is when i realized the phone was broken. When i say broken the phone when picked up whole phone it sounded like a pinball machine inside like the insides were all busted. So i went to desk complained about it and the unruly unsupervised kids whick rules state much have adult supervision and no diving. The front desk lady said same thing "uhh uhh uhh Ok" So after all this we go to my moms room WHO is on fixed income. We were watching tv a roach started running around microwave. Didnt both saying anything to the front desk "uhh uhh lady. So were checking out next day anyways. So my mom went to breakfast came back and a roach was in the bed. When checking out she told different front desk lady they said they would be back in touch later today and of course nothing. I have pictures

The outside of the building was overall very well kept and the landscaping was pretty. The pool was well lit at night as well as clean. The restaurant was wonderful. However, the room was an entirely different story. I wrote down a few notes and planned to give it to the receptionist while checking out. I didn't because he looked as if he would just throw it in the trash. Notices: There was something really nasty like chewed gum squished in the main door stopper. The sink counter in the room was in need of lifting and setting. Some of the towels were dirty and one of the washcloths had several holes. The bathroom was very dirty. There were hairs in the tub as well as dirt on the bottom of the tub. The toilet paper holder was in need of repair as well as the faucet for the tub. There were some dirty spots on the ceiling as well as on the walls. The drawer to the nightstand could not be opened easily. I will say that the pillows were fantastic!

Hotel is older but pretty well maintained. Pool needed cleaning, hot tub wasn’t hot and our full length mirror in our room had many gross lipgloss kiss marks all over it that were not cleaned by the cleaning crew. Left feeling pretty icky after cleaning them off but the rest of the room and bathroom appeared to be clean.

Was very clean. Mexican restaurant was very good. The outside wall is NOT soundproof and could hear kids yelling at the pool all night/morning.

Ants and drain knats in the room. Personal items “missing” from room after cleaning service. Filthy pool. Front desk staff were friendly and it was quiet at night.

Nice and clean

We were told that the room would be safe and clean. When we arrived we found a tick on our bed. When we asked for a refund we were told that would come through Expedia. When we contacted Expedia we were told a refund would have to be initiated through the motel. The property was rundown. It was one of the worst hotels I had experienced in my fifty years of professional travel. The room was neither safe not clean. I would have expected better from Expedia.

Small as expected breakfast was good but the bathroom the corners don't get cleaned that was kinda gross.

Other than the TV didn't work for a day and a half everything else was fine

It tended to be noisy until about midnight. The door handle on one of my rooms was loose making the door hard to unlock and open. The bathroom sink was slow to drain.

This was not advertised as a motel. It was a little rundown. But in the good side, the beds were very comfortable.

The mini fridge wasn’t working, but they did come and replace it so kudos to them for listening. They need to clean the air conditioning/heating vents but other than that we really enjoyed our time

I stood at the front desk to check in for 30 min. She finally came from closing up the pool area and was extemely friendly! Our room was ok. A bandaid on the wall by the dooe for some reason. The bed was very hard.

The hotel was great. Our room was convenient to everything the hotel offered. The room was clean. The staff was very polite and friendly. The beds, however, were not comfortable and the pillows way too thick.

Dated property, but slept well which is the point.

The place needs a lot of repair. Dim lights in the room. Bathroom Fan sounded like a tractor and a sick tractor at that. I was worried that the peopl up stairs would complain. Another lady when I reported this was report that their door didn't lock on the inside and they had to put a chair against it to feel secure. Overall the place is not kept up. Oh and when we got there the room they sent us to was a mess and not ready. Then it took them a while to get us a room. Just a bad overall experience. Never stay there again.

Charged for a stay that was not completed. Booked through expedia for a reservation. Hotel owners did not do the honorable gesture of refunding reservation - as that we did not stay at their hotel. For shame!

Check in was wonderful! Lady working the front desk was super sweet and welcoming. She even called our room to let us know it may take a minute for the hot water to reach our facuets due to the end of the building our room was on. Restaurant located on site. Food smelled delicious. Cozy bed. Everything was clean and fresh, unlike mentioned in some reviews. Would definitely stay again!

Got there they had no power. Couldnt stay because i have a son who is medically dependent on power. Was told not hotel problem , city problem. No refund, you can call city police? Like what? they stole money and refuse to give back. Hotel.com and they are not refunding me , its ridiculous. This was not a me issue. We could not stay with no power! And who would pay that much to stay in the dark anyways? Im fighting this. Contacted better bussiness and will take to court if need be.

Had a really good stay, wasn’t quiet but you kind of expect that when there is a bunch of kids staying at the hotel . We will be staying again

We only stayed one night between days at Holiday World. It was a decent price with a fairly short drive! We intended on using the hot tub, then the pool and then drying all the wet clothing for the next day. Hot tub was great, but the pool quickly filled up so even though we got in we didn’t enjoyed it as much. The only real issue we had was when we went to dry our clothes, we spent an hour in the laundry room but the clothes were still wet. The breakfast was good, pancakes, waffles, eggs, sausage and more. Easy checkout

This is an old hotel, but they have done a decent job of updating as much as they can. The rooms are clean and comfortable and, even being poolside with an outside door, it was completely quiet.

Our stay was for 2 nights and it was quiet at nights. The restaurant on site was very popular with the locals.

This hotel is nine miles off the highway, but it was worth the detour! Safe, quiet, large clean well-appointed room. Most of all I enjoyed and appreciated the staff at the hotel and at the excellent family-run Mexican restaurant on site. They treated me like family, and I thank them all for a memorable stay.

My family had a very enjoyable 2 nights at this hotel. There was a swimming pool, Continental breakfast, and a convenient very delicious Mexican cuisine restaurant in the building. The rooms were clean and had everything you would need.

Front desk was nice. Place is old and run down. Carpet is gross. Beds were fine. Coffee machine broken the whole time - breakfast is inedible. They kept locking the pool gate before the posted closing time of 10pm. Overall unless you can’t afford anything else, stay away.
