The siding. On the exterior is broken. The ouside lights blink and don’t all work. The keycard locks on the main entrances are deactivated so anyone can walk in. Now to the room. The bathroom ceiling was moldy. (See photo). The floors were not cleaned well. One of the beds felt like the base may have been broken and was very wobbly. There was food in the fridge when we arrived. The hotel was non refundable so we didn’t even try to get our money back. If we could give this hotel 0 stars. We would.

This was a terrible stay. No tv network out, room smelled of mold, holes in the walls mold in the tub. No vent fan in the bath. Building lights on the outside were flickering all night and holes in the blackout curtains. Bed was hard. I ended up leaving at 2 am. Much of the property was rented to long term stayers, even had signs on the doors about inspections and rate increases for failures. Not a good look.

For starters, there were weeds all around the the building! It looked very unkept, almost looked vacant! Then we go in and find out that the room that I ordered several months ago was not available, a room with one bed! So what do my wife and I get a room with two beds, that aren’t big enough for two people on one bed! Then I try to go and get some Ice, and the machine is out of order not working. Then went to breakfast, what a joke! Even being called a continental breakfast was a far stretch! Not even toast was available! Coffee and juice were the only drinks, and if you don’t drink coffee which I don’t you’re out of luck! Can’t believe I had to pay what I did for this joke of a Motel! The only thing that did work was the Internet!

We were warned to stay away, but due to the convenience of the location we decided to stay there anyway. Excellent decision. New managers are working very hard to make it spotless on the inside and soon to be the outside as well. Perfect place for short stays in the area. would definitely stay there again.

I can say the young lady at the front desk was wonderful but the hotel was a nightmare. We ended up packing up and leaving. 1st our room wasn’t ready. The room we was put in was horribly. Broken outlets, bathroom fixture was wide open wires hanging as if they were working on the exhaust. Tub was filthy. Bed sheets were not clean and found hairs all over the room. There was no handicap parking or parking period. I have stayed at Super 8 before but this facility was horrible.

The staff at this location were friendly and met expectations. However, the condition of the hotel itself was disappointing. The property is noticeably outdated and in need of significant renovation. The room I was assigned had a strong, unpleasant odor upon entry. The bathroom ceiling tiles were porous, moldy, and musty, and the toilet appeared stained. The bathtub didn’t drain properly, the water pressure was very low, and it took an unusually long time to heat up. While the beds were as expected, all the fabrics in the room carried a musty, unpleasant smell. The floors and walls appeared unclean, with visible stains and spots from spilled food or liquids. The bathroom had noticeable dust and hair along the edges of the floor and tub, which suggested poor attention to detail in housekeeping. Overall, the cleanliness was well below acceptable standards. I will not be returning to this location and do not recommend it to others unless significant improvements are made to the cleanliness and overall upkeep.

As we entered our room large clumps of mud were noticed on the floor. This was followed by a ripped window screen, hair on the bathroom floor, and a large water stained ceiling tile in the bathroom. Cleanliness was questionable at best. Definitely checked for bedbugs before crawling into bed.

This is the dirtiest motel we’ve ever stayed at. We would have gone somewhere else but we reserved it and we were very tired after traveling for12 hours. The staff was nice but even the dirty matted carpet was too dirty to walk on barefoot! The toilet had pee on it! We did let them know as we left the next day.

The front desk guy was nice. This use to be a very good motel but it has bec9me very run down. Not clean. Awful smell. No coffee in the room and lobby coffee was broken. Microwave was filthy and caked in food. Wall mounted mirror was laying on the floor. Breakfast not available. Lights andTV were not working properly amd the wall lamp in the room was rusting. We stay here usually 1-2 times a year...never again.

It was clean. The bed was like sleeping on bricks though, and our toilet wasn’t working. Rather than give us another room, the brought us a plunger…. And there was no continental breakfast both mornings we were there.

It’s what I would expect for the price range. The check-in and check out was fine. They gave us key cards, which was cool. When I got into the room, there was a VERY strong antiseptic smell. It was overwhelming. I had to step outside to breathe. As for the other stuff, we had normal hotel/motel stuff: a queen size bed, a mini fridge, microwave, and a TV. We were tired so we didn’t use it much. As for the facilities, there was a regular sink/mirror, and a bathroom. It had a toilet and a shower/bath combo. The water pressure was ok, but not too much pressure. Again, it was ok. Other things: the AC was cold, but can be noisy at times. And, the walls are thin, and can hear some outside guest noises. Oh, and the bed was a firm mattress. There were other little things that they did well, but I didn’t notice because I was tired and only stayed the night.

The front desk check in was very friendly. Had a bit of a mixup on the room. Got a 2 bed instead of the one I reserved. The hotel is under new management and renovations are starting. It needs it. A lot of electrical outlets in our room didn't work. The beds need better warmer comforters. The water pressure is minimal. But it was clean and worked good for a night's stay. We didn't eat breakfast. So I cant comment on that.

When we arrived at about 9 at night, there were young adults smoking pot by the entrance while visiting with the night clerk. The room next to us was noisy and banging till about 2 am. The room did not have a working TV. Under repairs. At about midnight we heard someone trying to get into our room and asked what they were doing. They said they were trying to get in and apologized. Very weird. When speaking in the morning with the office, they had said the repair men were checking the room as they thought there was no hot water and thought the room was empty. Odd time to check, and we had hot water as well. Asked if we could change rooms for the next night and they said they would see what they could do, with no promises. Thankfully they refunded our second night as there was no way we were staying another night.

I had booked the room through Expedia, but the hotel still needed to place a $50 hold on a card. I had three different cards decline through their system, two of which had been used earlier that day with no issue. After the first decline on the first card, the front desk worker asked, "Well don't you just have cash?" This gave the impression that something was happening which was not above board. After three third card declined and he opted to manually enter the first card again, the hold went through. The next morning when checking out, I asked the front desk worker to ensure that the hold was released and outlined the problems that I had had the night before. He became a little upset stating that they were working with a new computer system and that if he was still learning the system then he couldn't expect his staff to know it right away. The charge for the hold did go through, but was immediately credited back by the hotel.

I had reserved a 2 Double Bed room weeks ago. When I got there, the front desk was outside the front door smoking. We were carrying all of our stuff in and she asked if we were checking in. Umm, yes. So she came in and did the check-in pretty well. While heading up to our room, it was obvious that most others there were residents, not travelers. The halls reeked of smoke. When we finally got to our room, there was only one double bed.I went to the front desk again, and it took one of the "residents" finding her to finally get service. The best she was able to offer us was one Queen bed. We ended up having to cancel and scramble to find another hotel last minute in the late hours of the night.

This place was rather good for a hotel of its class. The room was clean, the staff very friendly and helpful. Very quiet area with a goid selections of dining option in walking vicinity. It's a bit far away from the city itself; therefore, if you want to explore the city, I'd strongly recommend having a vehicle as Uber and Lyft may take a while to reach over there.

It was clean. The bed was like sleeping on bricks though, and our toilet wasn’t working. Rather than give us another room, the brought us a plunger…. And there was no continental breakfast both mornings we were there.

I like that the room I was assigned had faux hardwood floors....I feel like it reduced the amount of potential germs & viruses that can spread. The room was clean and odor free it came equipped with the necessities like, fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. The staff were very helpful if you needed anything and guests were friendly and helpful as well...There was continental breakfast included at this location which included cold cereal, some snack items, and a waffle maker.The waffles are great 😊. Overall it was a pleasant stay and I'd definitely book reservations here again. If you're looking for a five star stay I'd absolutely recommend this location.

Breakfast hardly counts as it's just cereal and waffles. Everything was very basic-- only two tiny pillows for the bed and nothing I would consider the proper size for a bath towel. It's cheap and good enough, though, if you don't care about anything else!

For starters, there were weeds all around the the building! It looked very unkept, almost looked vacant! Then we go in and find out that the room that I ordered several months ago was not available, a room with one bed! So what do my wife and I get a room with two beds, that aren’t big enough for two people on one bed! Then I try to go and get some Ice, and the machine is out of order not working. Then went to breakfast, what a joke! Even being called a continental breakfast was a far stretch! Not even toast was available! Coffee and juice were the only drinks, and if you don’t drink coffee which I don’t you’re out of luck! Can’t believe I had to pay what I did for this joke of a Motel! The only thing that did work was the Internet!

Conveniently located for Smithville and Kansas City but room was in poor state of repair, curtain hanging off the rail, shower curtain rail hanging off the wall and shower head. Breakfast was very limited, no toast or bagels, only breakfast bars, cereals and yogurts. Some guests were a little scary too. Receptionist was friendly and helpful but wasn't the best stay

The front desk guy was nice. This use to be a very good motel but it has bec9me very run down. Not clean. Awful smell. No coffee in the room and lobby coffee was broken. Microwave was filthy and caked in food. Wall mounted mirror was laying on the floor. Breakfast not available. Lights andTV were not working properly amd the wall lamp in the room was rusting. We stay here usually 1-2 times a year...never again.

This hotel is closing and it shows! Why the pictures are showing something completely different is beyond me and hotels.com is partly to blame for not validating anything. Continental Breakfast means coffee. That's it. Room to stay means exactly that - a room. It will have 4 walls and a ceiling and a floor. To be fair, Shower water was hot. AC worked. While I normally follow the rule, if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all... I feel I have a responsibility to my fellow traveler that out weighs that. Strongly recommend you do not stay.

The rooms were not clean…the staff was unhelpful (I reserved a king sized bed and got 2 double beds and they refused to help)…and most disturbing…I had a group of 3-5 “methheads”…who were living just outside my room (near the exit)…I went out at 330a to take my dog out…and there they were…they were asleep when I left at 8…I told the owner…he didn’t care…

We checked in pretty late in the evening and instead of having a staff member at the front, there was a kiosk with someone videoed in. Our king size room only had 3 pillows and the lightest blanket possible. When we went up front to ask for more pillows we once again had to contact the kiosk and then they would call housekeeping. It was not great.

Lookagood on outside. Very poor maintenance. Thwre were broken outlets and rusted light fixtures. The toilet was very loose. It rocked on the floor.
