We have stayed here many times. The location is convenient and close to transport, and we will stay again. We had reserved a parking spot, which I confirmed by phone 5 days before our stay, so it was disappointing on check in to be told they have overbooked the parking, but we could park at the Old Lion instead. What was even more disappointing was when I went to use the vending machine, it revealed the car park was less than half full, despite being told we missed out on parking because the other guests needing parking had all arrived before us. The only other complaint was we were on the ground floor so it was a bit noisier than usual.

I regularly stay at Majestic Minima when I need to stay the night in Adelaide. It's usually comes up as one of the cheapest hotels in town but has everything you'd expect or need in a hotel. The area around Melbourne street North Adelaide is great place to base yourself, free 99 bus to and from the city, or a 25-30 min walk if you want to get your step count up. Secure car parking is a plus.

Great space to rest our head for the night! Compact size rooms, but has everything you need for a night or 2. Very clean, tidy and fantastic communal balcony upstairs! We would definitely stay again if we needed a bed for the night. Amazing rates!!

The car parking was easy and the air con did keep the room cool. The washing machine downstairs was handy and obviously the location waa good. I just found the room very dingy, i guess it was cheap and i was grateful to find somewhere to stay when i found myself homeless the week of Christmas, but i wouldnt book it again

Great location, exactly what we needed. Juwt be aware that onsite parking is a bit on the tight side if you have a big car. After 1st night contacted reception for more pillows as only one each supplied and they were very full/high - too high to sleep comfortably with resulting in very sore necks. Housekeeping did bring 2 more "normal" size pillows for us so that was fabulous. A stool or something to use as a bedside table on the window side of the bed is much needed.

The hotel needs a lot of maintenance. I had to ask to change rooms as there were ants everywhere and it smelled like mould. I also had to check in at a different hotel and continually walk to the other hotel to report issues. Would not recommend staying here even if you are trying to go cheap. There are plenty of much better options.

I was disappointed, to say the least. The check in process is at a different address, down the road from this property. The room itself was very small and outdated. The tv (which was over a decade old as there were no streaming or casting capabilities) was mounted right up against the ceiling, which made for very uncomfortable viewing. The bathroom was tiny and full of grime. The showerhead was so grimy and blocked up that water was coming down from only the very center of it, which made it feel like showering under a spout. The mattress was uncomfortable and I could feel (and hear) the springs. As for the "balcony", lets just say there is a reason there are no photos of this particular one on the website. It felt more like a prison yard, with no windows or openings of any kind, just solid full height walls. And a week later I still don't have my security deposit back.

Very small room, no water one morning, no power one evening, lack of cleaning service, just not a great experience. Also a charge on my credit card which was an error with no response from hotel, I would not recommend this to any travellers.

Perfect for my needs as a solo traveller. I was really impressed with how clean and new the room was. Full credit to the housekeeping team. The only minor thing for me was that the pillows were way too high. Reception couldn’t help me. All other aspects were excellent.

I’ve stayed here a few times now. I really think it’s time to upgrade the shower heads to better ones and new tv’s where you can access Netflix, Stan, Disney etc but down lower. Its very annoying with the tv up so high

I was assured on check-in that the tv works, I had read reviews, room 6 tv didn’t work, the green strips of paper on the Art wall was tacky, the cleaner and staff member couldn't fix tv not smart tv, they moved me to room 8, great Art wall, tv worked, the room was missing teabags also the desk set was missing so wasn't ready for guests. The king size bed was comfortable, location is great, Melbourne Street is vibrant and lively, walkable stroll to the City, Zoo or hop on a bus.

Have stayed here multiple times before, so we're aware that the rooms and bathrooms are compact; however the bathroom this time seemed much smaller. My husband had to sit on the toilet on an angle so he wasn't pressed against the toilet room holder or the bathroom door.

We overpaid for this property (given what we've seen it available for elsewhere) and should have paid the extra $37 for the Majestic Apartments. Lesson learned. The room was tiny, the bed was hard and absolutely no room to do anything besides sleep. The air con and TV both worked intermittently. If you were coming in late and leaving early and just wanted somewhere to sleep, it would do the job.

The wi-fi was not working. Wi-fi was listed as an amenity when I made my reservation. It had been down for at least a week and there was nothing being done to fix it. I would like to be compensated for the inconvenience.

This place is great for holidays with friendly staff and great location close to food and supermarket. It is a little more difficult for those travelling for business. The space for the laptop work is the same as the kettle so either one or the other. Also, very little space for clothing. Not having hotel wifi or phone reception made working difficult. Easy access car park was also a benefit.

Very clean, staff were incredibly helpful when we asked to extend our stay. They also held our luggage Very nice hotel room, not too much noise from others inside hotel or from outside. Plenty to eat nearby (personally recommend pizza from Marcellina, two doors down)

Receptionist Oliver has been always very friendly and helpful. We have stayed at majestic and it has always been a great experience especially with the assistance of Oliver. Will definitely come back.

Was advised at check in that car parking wasn't available despite pre booking a space. Issues with the TV. Staff weren't very helpful. Loud late night guests. Still no Wifi. Have stayed many times before, but am starting to question if the price and the convenience is worth the drop in service.

A good little hotel in North Adelaide - close to the city (good transport options but also walkable), good pub and numerous dining options within 100m. No views from room but private with a small balcony.

Great little hotel in a super location. Rooms are small but well appointed with everything you need. There is individual art in each room which give the a funky feel. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful restaurants and is only a short walk to North Adelaide, Adelaide Oval and the city.

Lovely room.a few littleniggles in the bathroom with loose hooks and toilet roll holder.very clean,comfy bed.needed maybe another side table and no wardrobe. First room air con stopped working and toilet blocked.they changed us to new room straight away.very helpful.would stay again

Ok but had to park over at the other hotel and you pay 150 dollar bond for 2 nights and still haven't received it back after 3 days

The Hotel itself is quite basic and dated and clearly the low-cost end of all their Hotels. Staff were very pleasant but not very informative. A lot of the rooms TV remotes would only turn the TV on, you couldn’t adjust the volume or channel or open YouTube on Netflix. I don’t think the remote. Match the TV’s. Close to restaurants and bars and public transport. There’s a reason why it’s cheap!

Well, I need to inform Hotels.com. They don’t know what they’re talking about when they list that there is not just a swimming pool but a spa as well and this is phone advertising because it doesn’t even have any information about the Wi-Fi if there is any or if breakfast is available. The small bathroom that was freezing cold even though not with a window had very basic amenities as well as the main studio room. This is definitely a budget hotel which I was unaware of as it is associated with the Majesty and Lion hotel in North Adelaide which are quite expensive. The room I got was right outside the lift on the first and 2nd night when people were in and out all night, which doesn’t help, especially when you’re a light sleeper. I chose to stay another night because it was dirt cheap but now I know why and they put me right down the back however the lovely reverse cycling air-conditioner was blowing the finest bit of warm air out and even after seven hours of having a warm so-called 30C heater on it was just warm and struggled to keep going all night. I don’t know why it keeps on turning on and off maybe it’s about to blow after all it’s N old system. I have some lovely little people across the hallway Had some lovely little people across the hallway who were going Hammer tongs last night with deliveries in and out. I wouldn’t mind their paycheck but I wouldn’t want to be in their shoes when it comes to the law and the bikies. TV remote didn’t work in both ln both rooms.
