Rooms have been renovated, but not super clean (there were the remnants of a white owl someone had freaked in the trash when we got there, walls slightly dirty, bathroom floor is peel and stick that is more Peel than stick, etc). Beds are very firm. Tv was very dim. Positives are quick booking and check in, tv had Netflix that you could log into, nice staff, easy parking, on-site laundry. Make sure you freeze your own ice in the trays because we couldn’t find an ice maker!

It was exactly as stated in the name: for extended people not someone for 2 nights. We were just visiting in town and missed the amenities that a normal motel has. If I were staying for a week then it would have been fine.

No coffee pot, cups or plates. We arrived after 10pm and had to wait 20-25 minutes for someone to come and check us in since check in was closed. No grab and go breakfast this morning.

This property was not the cleanest and had very few amenities. There was a very sticky spot on multiple parts of the room. Beds were uncomfortable and noisy but is a good place to stay if not staying for a long time.

Smelled terrible of smoke! Not really an extended stay because you have to rent plates and silverware and a coffe pot in your room is $40! You have to empty your own garbage and to make a call from the landline in the room is $1.00 per call! Worst though at 10am (11am checkout) the manager pounded on my door like the police! When I answered he said, “Are you checking out today!?!” Unbelievable. Seems like a nice place but it is NOT. No free breakfast either. These people have no idea how to run a hotel! Never again! Not Extended Stay. More like Stay Away!

Stayed here because it was inexpensive, you get what you pay for. Toilet paper and soap provided. No breakfast, shampoo. Kitchenette, but no dishes, pans, anything. Limited desk staff.

Floor very dirty in room . under bed was a empty plastic bottle and splatter dried from who flung it. light plugs not working. Didn’t get my senior discount. No ice machine . Beds very squeaky, and when asked for extra pillow they didn’t have. The night guy wasn’t very pleasant

Comparing this property to the extended stay in merillville, this one feels a little more bare bones. Comfortable enough but front office closed most of the time, no coffee station, no shampoo. Hard chairs instead of comfortable ones etc. Fire alarm went off frequently due to someone burning food repeatedly, which of course has a bit more to do with the clientele. Comfortable bed and clean room. Someone on the 2nd floor was making a ridiculous amount of noise for hours; sounded like they were playing with a box of rocks or moving the furniture all night.

The room was filthy, very dirty. Someone toenail was on the floor, it wasn't mine. It could not have been cleaned. The microwave was greasy and dirty. I would never stay there again.

Soon as you enter the building it’s smells like a Nursing Home. The smell on the first floor comes all the way upstairs on the elevator. My first two nights I couldn’t sleep at all because of my room was on the first floor. Also my room was linking water on the floor from the AC- heat unit. The bed had animal hair all in the cracks of the bed frame . I almost had an asthma attack because of the terrible conditions. I had to use my rescue inhaler. It was just horrible I was very disappointed. They did give me another room after I complained about the smell and how I am allergic to cats and dogs . The smell is just floating through the hotel the urine from the animals . The second room had hair all over the bed blanket. I took pictures I am sending all of this to cooperate that hotel needs some better housekeeper and a good clean out , and the cleaning status is unacceptable. I would never go there again. I feel I should be fully refunded..

This place felt like it was stuck in the 70s. Constant smell of old smoke in spite being in a non smoking room, and you could hear everything happening in the neighboring rooms (we had both families and loud TVs above and on one side of us and it was loud though all hours of the night). The room was a bit dirty and towels had been left in the bathroom from the previous guest. Overall not a great experience.

Do not stay here if you want rest. The walls were thin and floors poorly insulated. Noise all night long. Beds (mattresses/frames) were so very cheap and too thin. The bed frame bars dug into us and there was no comfort found. Beyond this, no basic amenities were offered, like hand soap. No soap or anything in the entire room… Cannot imagine who would extend their stay here. Front desk was non-existent so we couldn’t fix our situation.

This is a basic stay, no coffee in the room. The water pressure is a trickle, the wall next to one of the beds was filthy with food stuck to it. I took pictures. The first floor smelled like marijuana. The bed is comfy, the room is quiet and warm.

Nothing to like. Filthy room, filthy floors. Putrid smells in hallways and elevator. The bed/mattress was the most uncomfortable sleeping apparatus i have ever encountered, and I’ve actually slept outside on rocks a few times in my life. The heater sounded like an old steel mill blast furnace that was ready to explode every time it kicked on. We left a 6:00 am, we literally couldn’t get out fast enough.

You can move everything and see nothing was cleaned even the sheets on the bed had hair from previous people staying the workers bang on the door at 10 am even though check out isn’t until 11am I even had another night booked and payed for but I just packed my stuff up and left that it was so bad also if you stay for multiple nights they will not ask if you need room service 1 of the women even told me I had to pay her to clean or take trash 100% worst place to go there check in desk closes very early so if you have anything booked and can’t be there before a certain time then your money is basically gone and you have to find another hotel i left in the middle of the night to go get food and couldn’t even get back into my room because my keys stopped working so I had to sleep in the car

the program glitched and ended up booking me 4 rooms for 2 nights , even though the two of us showed up and stayed in two rooms , they did not tell us we had been booked in another two rooms by computer error , Once I realized the mistake and complained the manager only gave me back half of the money effectively stealing $173.68 from me , and said that was there policy .

This is a great motel. Lots of people here are long term and peaceful. No rif raf or druggies camping out trying to find somewhere to get high. Staff is extremely polite, kind, and willing to go above and beyond. Great people at a great hotel

The hotel itself was fine. It is a non-smoking hotel, but there was always a crowd of other patrons smoking by the outside door, and that smoke filled the whole first floor, including our room which was a fair distance from the door. I think a lot of people live here full time. The room and hallways were clean and the one staff person I interacted with was nice. I did try to get a 2nd room card after checking in and there was no one at the desk. It wasn't late, about 8:30pm. I tried calling the number on a sign and no one answered.

I did try to get a 2nd room card after checking in and there was no one at the desk. It wasn't late, about 8:30pm. I tried calling the number on a sign and no one answered.

The floor in the room was dirty. Your bare feet would stick to it when walking in it. Your white socks turned yellow from walking on it. The hotel was mostly filled with people who live there not vacationers.

Dina at the front desk is fantastic to deal with! Friendly and professional… Hotel is in a convenient place 5 mins from the beach by car “in Ohio”! Great choice’s that we will make again..

It was exactly as stated in the name: for extended people not someone for 2 nights. We were just visiting in town and missed the amenities that a normal motel has. If I were staying for a week then it would have been fine.

No coffee pot, cups or plates. We arrived after 10pm and had to wait 20-25 minutes for someone to come and check us in since check in was closed. No grab and go breakfast this morning.

The staff was friendly. The price was very affordable. I have never been in a room this clean! We had a blacklight with us and decided to look around. We found a couple spots on the bathroom sink and a couple in the kitchen sink. However, I've never been in a room without a coffee pot. Stove and refrigerator, yes. Coffee pot and toiletries, no.

Smelled terrible of smoke! Not really an extended stay because you have to rent plates and silverware and a coffe pot in your room is $40! You have to empty your own garbage and to make a call from the landline in the room is $1.00 per call! Worst though at 10am (11am checkout) the manager pounded on my door like the police! When I answered he said, “Are you checking out today!?!” Unbelievable. Seems like a nice place but it is NOT. No free breakfast either. These people have no idea how to run a hotel! Never again! Not Extended Stay. More like Stay Away!

This is a basic stay, no coffee in the room. The water pressure is a trickle, the wall next to one of the beds was filthy with food stuck to it. I took pictures. The first floor smelled like marijuana. The bed is comfy, the room is quiet and warm.

While the initial check in was quick and easy, the rest of our stay was questionable. You have to bring your own coffee pot/pots and pans for the room. We couldn’t get ahold of service staff for needs we had. They had no housekeeping & at 9pm the front desk lady came pounding on the room door to tell us that we had to take out our own trash. When we asked for extra towels she rudely expressed that they were backed up from check outs earlier in the day & the front desk would be open at 10 am the next day (we checked out at 11). There also was no breakfast option which the site says is available. All of this wouldn’t have been a big deal if we were notified at check in. A guest down the hall was letting his cat freely roam the hall & the 1st floor smelled of straight marijuana (apparently a smoke free motel). The restaurant/store options were convenient but majority of the locals were rude. I wouldn’t recommend staying & will spend more money staying else where.

Stayed here because it was inexpensive, you get what you pay for. Toilet paper and soap provided. No breakfast, shampoo. Kitchenette, but no dishes, pans, anything. Limited desk staff.

Comparing this property to the extended stay in merillville, this one feels a little more bare bones. Comfortable enough but front office closed most of the time, no coffee station, no shampoo. Hard chairs instead of comfortable ones etc. Fire alarm went off frequently due to someone burning food repeatedly, which of course has a bit more to do with the clientele. Comfortable bed and clean room. Someone on the 2nd floor was making a ridiculous amount of noise for hours; sounded like they were playing with a box of rocks or moving the furniture all night.

as soon as you enter the lobby smells liked someone smoked weed. the mop after smell also smells nasty. rooms were good and clean could not sleep at night as there was loud bang noise from neighboring rooms several times. someone had hit the bathroom door hard .

The room was dirty. The walls, floors and appliances were disgusting. The shower had little to no pressure. One bed was broken so the mattress dipped when you laid on it. Our room was right next to the wall that had the elevator on the other side and it kept us up all night with people using it. Our key cards kept declining us from entering the building so we had to keep going to the front office to get new key cards. The dresser, table and bathroom counter top had missing/broken pieces and my son cut his hand on the side of one of them. The fridge looked like it had never been cleaned. The floor was wet when we arrived so we assumed they cleaned it but when it dried there was crumbs and debris all over the floor so we had to wear shoes when walking around in the room. The hallways smelled like dog pee and the elevator smelled like marijuana. The parking lot was scattered with debris from people sitting out and using their own grills and having parties until midnight. Not worth even being free to stay here. Find another hotel. Pay the extra money for a better stay.

It was a basic room, clean and adequate. I expected more in amenities. At least a coffee pot in any kitchen is pretty basic for a hotel room of any class. There were only 2 bath towels and no hand towels. We women need two towels each if we wash our hair. There was no soap in the bathroom, and either a bar or liquid soap dispenser is necessary for basic hygiene. Fortunately I had a small bar in my car. The beds were comfortable but squeaky at night.
