The pool area was closed - staff was helpful- our room door stuck and was difficult to get into the room - complimentary breakfast was ok. Room was clean and quiet

We booked for the pool and were told pool was open and it wasn’t!

Liked our experience at this hotel but the back door was broken and anybody could walk into the back of the hotel. Not very safe.

People were friendly. Hotel was run down. No ice machines worked

Indoor pool is small but excellent with depth, temperature, hot tub, and sitting area. Stayed at numerous hotels with indoor pools and this one had the best sitting area and temperature was perfect- all the other hotels have always been much cooler and sometimes uncomfortable. Breakfast was great with more than just waffles. All staff were very helpful and friendly. Shopping and countless restaurants within about 15 minutes.

Hot tub was broken, pool was ice cold! The room smelled musty like body odor, advertised for a jetted bathtub, not even close! 1/10 stars. While waiting for breakfast at 10 an employee saw I was holding a plate waiting my turn said excuse me and took the whole display of food! It was 10:02 a.m. super cheap! Terrible service! I did have a super nice lady say hello in passing though.

Sad the hot tub was closed hopefully it will be open next time

Is this place going out of business? Our 4th year staying here and it is beyond belief that the owners care about much. Staff is nice enough, but from the roof to the rooms upgrades are sorely needed. The patio is overgrown, Roman type fountain no longer works, and the outside patio resembled an ashtray. Trash overflowing at the side entrance 2 of three days. Someone needs to buy this place and upgrade. Virtually no competition, maybe that's why??

Dirty, Hot tub was broke, breakfast was very little.

Since you mentioned it, the hot tub was not available. We were extremely disappointed with that. After a 5 hour drive we were looking forward to soaking in the hot tub. I dont know if that was a recent issue, but if we would of known we probably would have stayed somewhere else. So its that important. If you advertise a hot tub, you better have it working.

Check in was easy. Room was very clean with a neutral smell which was perfect for my sensitive nose. Breakfast was excellent, fresh and had a good variety that my family enjoyed. This comfort suite location was superb and definitely recommend.

Dirty bedding , mold in bathroom. Service desk person rude

the beds were comfortable The room had dirty toilets, mold in shower, ceiling had water marks, had to ask for room cleaning, grounds were poorly kept, many weeds, and patio was filled with weeds between beautiful brick, jacuzzi was not operational, front door did not close due to problems, elevator needed cleaning, found marijuana behind the television stand, Manager need to get act together, air conditioner panels broken, cleaning staff needs refresher on how to clean a room.

For as much as we paid I expected at least a clean room. The elevator floor was filthy. The bottom trim was off the walls, exposing old paint and drywall. There were dirt stains all over the walls. The wall around the garbage can was especially gross with old food and other stains on it. The shower had either black mold or mildew in the cracks. Check in was easy and the staff was nice but the place was dirty.

Checking in and checking out, staff seemed annoyed they had to work. My room was so dirty. The dust that was pilled up was definitely from years of neglect. Convenient location to the university, but will stay someone nicer for next time. Very disappointing

RUN FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU CAN!! If I could give 0 stars, I would. This is the worst, dirtiest, most disgusting hotel I've ever been in. We had 4 rooms for a work trip. Room 1 had blood on the door to the adjoining room and children's hand prints all over the head board of the bed. The comforter was not changed or clean. Room 2 had carpets that were so dirty the person had to put towels on the floor to walk. Room 3 had an odor. They refused to let us out of our reservation for a refund so we could move to another hotel. We moved anyway and ended up paying for 2 hotels. RUN FROM THIS PLACE

Room & bathroom not cleaned properly.

Hi!! We had two rooms. I reported to the staff that our toliet was dirty and had urine on it. The second room had brown stains all over the comforter/blanket. It was disgusting to say the least. We have stayed in Comfort Suites before. This has NEVER been the case. Thought I would share since the Front Desk people didnt care. Kind regards- Laura Ryder

The amount of black mold around the inside of the toilet in my hotel room was actually terrible. Property as a whole is definitely not clean. Worked as a place to get a quick shower and sleep but nothing great can be said.

This hotel is old, it smells, we had mold in the shower, chipped paint in the bathroom. I was in room 112, the guest ran up and down the hallway all night, screaming and yelling in the room next to me. I’ll NEVER stay here again!!

Our stay was okay. The beds were lumpy. The bathroom had an updated sink vanity but the tub needs replaced. The doors were dirty looking. Either they need replaced or painted. The carpet was okay. The heat worked well. The water in the shower would fluctuate. Overall, the place needs updated. The lobby was good. The breakfast was subpar. And nobody ever emptied the trash so that by evening the trash cans were very full and needed emptied. However, the view from the back patio was superb!

The key card on the door was broken which made it difficult to get into room.

Decent room. Lock died upon 2nd return entry. Staff is fixing it as I wait. It happens...

Saggy bed. Old and smelly pillows. Rock band playing until late right outside the window.

Room was comfortable but heating unit was loud.

Had a great stay here. Great view from room on the backside of hotel. Suited our needs.

Hot Tub didn’t work and problems with WIFI had to call support log on.

We were breaking a long journey so it was only a 1-night stay. The occupancy rate was very low but locals say it gets busy for university events - start/end of semester and sports events. Checkin was quick and easy. the room was very spacious. Visible parts of the room were clean but undet furniture there was trash from previous occupants. One window was badly cracked. The bed was very comfortable and in the morning breakfast was generous with a good variety of the normal fare. We would stay again if we were in the area.

Overall, the hotel is comfortable, especially the room. The hotel is older and undergoing some upgrades which should help the appearance. The desk clerks were always in the back room and didn't greet guests when they were coming in or leaving. We stayed at several hotels during our two-week trip, and this was the only one where the desk personnel were routinely not at the desk. The breakfast was very good, offered a variety of food and was always stocked. The location was very convenient and the views from the breakfast nook were fabulous over a lush valley. There was a youth soccer tournament in Edinboro the days we stayed there so it was very noisy, with kids running up and down the hallways until after midnight on a couple of days. My wife asked the kids to quiet down because it was so late and then asked the front desk person to talk to them when the noise continued. Since the noise continued even after that, it seemed like the desk person either didn't do anything or the parents of the kids didn't make them quiet down. Even with this small inconvenience, we will likely stay there again due to the location.

The room has scuffs and marks covering every wall surface, including the doors and in the bathroom. The bathroom's tub/shower was chipped. The water controls in the shower were not marked or working properly. The closet door only had 1 of 2 doors. The TV stopped working after an hour of watching.

Had a nice room but a horrible mattress, where it sloped towards the middle of the bed. Talked to the manager at the front desk and told her about the mattress but she refused to move us as she said the hotel was full. The following day, there was a urine leak in our bathroom coming from the room above us. We called the front desk and they moved us to another room immediately. Nothing about the hotel being full. I think the lady at the front desk did not want to help us with the bed problem.

I had book a stay at the hotel but i had to check out 3 days early due to snow storm coming in. I was reassured that they will refund me the amount that was said, waited for 3 days and contacted the hotel again but was denied the refund. No integrity at with their words, very disappointing. With that said I would Avoid this property, there are better options in erie area.

I'll do bullet points since I had too many complaints for the space allowed... Dirty toilet; toilet seat badly scratched and damaged. TV not working; handyman who came to fix it did not wait for me in the hallway (I was walking behind him); used his master key to enter the room WITHOUT knocking even though I had told him my son was in there. When left the room, he violently slammed the door because he didn't like that I was unhappy about the front desk comment about the TV. Did not receive an accessible room as requested because was told none were available, but my friend was moved to an accessible room after first being given an occupied room!!!! The issue with the TV continued every single time the tv was turned off. Breakfast was mediocre at best and the coffee was horrendous. The ice machine on the 3rd floor did not work and there was a blanket with human fecal matter next to it for several hours. My friend got an OCCUPIED room when she checked in; then was moved to an accessible room which she refused; the 3rd room she got had a defective key card reader and was locked out of her room; a front desk staff spent hours taking it apart in the evening. Eventually had to remove it completely and wait for the handyman to fix it in the morning. Room was roomy enough for wheelchair even though would have liked to be given the available accessible room AS REQUESTED. Did not have the energy to fight the front desk or move stuff. DANGEROUSLY SCOLDING HOT WATER IN BATHROOM.

We stay here often, and we are always impressed with the staff!

Fast check in & out

Horrible experience, though the rooms are booked 2 weeks before it’s not allocated. Reached the location around 2am due to travel delays, waited around 2hours for room confirmation. Once room was allocated we went in to check but it’s not cleaned, bathroom was dirty, bed spread are not removed after previous check out. Reported at front desk and took another 30 min to allocate another room. Even the other room is not good but we tried to adjust considering the time

Staff was excellent

Very busy area but easy access to get to all the highways. Plenty of parking. Was perfect for one night stay in my case.

Best place to stop over for a night on I79

Check in was fast and easy. The woman working was very pleasant and helpful. The room was a nice size for one night for two people with a small sofa and queen bed. The hotel was quiet. The area around it is far enough away from the highway so you don’t hear that noise but close enough for quick and easy access. The breakfast area was kept clean and items were replenished before they ran out. It was a typical hotel breakfast. The checkout process was also simple and every employee we encountered was friendly. I would stay here again.

Stayed to attend my daughter volleyball tournament ar McComb Fieldhouse. First appearance of hotel, was food. It’s a little outdated, but clean and staff friendly. My daughter went to oool and hot tub, she enjoyed. Room was clean and roomy. Had a double queen that had sofa. I was on first floor near pool and lobby, super convenient. I noticed ppl in workout room, so functional. We had the breakfast and was decent. I booked through Hotel.com so a little more then booking outright, but still under $200. Hotel near many restaurants within a few miles, Dunkin was directly across. There was a Walmart less than a mile away also. We enjoyed our stay.

It is right off the exit. Sheetz and Walmart are very close.

Great stay! It was close to food choices, Walmart, Sheets, Wendy's, etc. The room was clean and comfortable. Great for the price.

It’s close to highway and easy to access. Friends live in area with golf course

We love staying at this hotel to visit our daughter who goes to Edinboro University (just found out that they give a 15% discount for families if you book through them). It is generally clean and quiet with a friendly staff. It is a good location, convenient to the highway, Walmart, and the university. The rooms have a sitting area with a loveseat, armchair, and coffee table, making it a comfortable place to visit with family. The downstairs lobby, outdoor patio, and swimming pool are pleasant with a nice view of the natural area behind the hotel. Breakfasts offer a good selection including Belgian waffles, eggs, bacon, cold cereal, yogurt, etc. The fitness room has a treadmill, bike, and weights. There is even a little lending library. Sometimes the rooms show a little wear and a lot of light comes through the hallway door, but each time we visit, improvements have been made. I'm going to miss staying here when my daughter graduates!

Its location right off of 79 is good, other than we would have preferred to stay closer to town. Nice having the Sheetz and Walmart close by. Pool was good, room was adequate. Lobby and breakfast was good.

Liked lobby and dining area fall decor. Front desk, check-in, was very efficient, as was the dining room staff. Continental breakfast options were plentiful, not so much for last hour on weekend we were there. (Example, bacon not replenished and reduced to crispy bits.) Beds and pillows comfortable, clean and fresh. Room was “day to day” clean, but in need of a “deep” clean as there were dark stains on the carpet outside the bathroom door, brown stains on bathroom door (which my daughter scrubbed off with a paper towel), bathroom light on left sconce, burned out, no waste can in bedroom area, water rings on nightstand, and perhaps dried vomit on side of dresser where waste can should have been. These are things can can and should be attended to by management band staff on “slow” days.

It was fine, for the price it should have been a lot nicer. The breakfast was pretty mediocre, eggs were watery, bacon was thin as paper and really soft. I left my room at 8:30 to get breakfast and they checked me out and I couldn’t get back in without new cards. I didn’t see any bugs though.

Overall the hotel needs a refresh. Dirty bathroom exhaust fan that didnt work. They use Dish network but not all the channels listed in the guide were accessable which got frustrating by the 3rd channel not able to view. Breakfast was sub-par overall. Glad I wont be back in that area needing a hotel anymore.

The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean. The breakfast was great! Omelets, potatoes, sausage, toast, etc. were included. It was worth paying a little extra to have comfort and a good breakfast. Well done Comfort Suites!
