Guangdong Yingbin Hotel

유서깊은 호텔입니다. 시내에 위치해 있어서 디디택시 이용해서 편하게 여행 할 수 있었습니다. 지하철 역은 걸어서 10분 정도 걸리네요. 호텔 시설은 깔끔하고, 쾌적합니다.

I stayed at this hotel during the Canton Fair. They haven't bus service that takes you from the hotel to the fair. It is about a 45 minute drive so it's not close to the fair area. As far as the location off this hotel it is about 20 minute walk from Beijing Street which is a very nice walking area near the Buddha temple. This hotel has some nice traditional monuments around that one can walk to. The hotel is spread out so rooms can be in different buildings. My room was in a different building so I had to walk to the main building for breakfast but the walk was really nice through this beautiful garden that was wonderfully landscaped with old growth Banyan trees. There are no coffee shops nearby but at 10 to 15 minute walk will get you to the city center where there are lots of restaurants and coffee places to choose from. I like this hotel partly because it was away from the rush. The stuff was very friendly and many of them spoke English. They offered a free breakfast in the morning which was very lavish. Overall I will give this hotel a 4.5 star.

This vintage property has beautiful grounds, excellent gym and big swimming pool. The room is spacious. The location is great and very tranquil. The "hot tub" in the pool area is not a hot tub at all. It was just room temperature water, which is a disappointment. The property could improve by installing guest laundry facility. I was given two packs of laundry detergent free in my room, but there's no laundry facility to use these detergent. I was told the detergent was to be used for hand washing my clothes in my room. That does not make sense. There is the direct bus to Hong Kong and Kowloon, which is very convenient for travellers. The staff were helpful. Service was prompt and courteous.
