Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Atlanta-Cumming by IHG

Very nice hotel. The location was great, plenty of restaurants in the area. The hotel receptionist was very nice. The room was clean and the made serviced during our 2 night stay. The breakfast was decent. Only minor issue was a shortage of pool towels and how the staff handled the situation.

Hotel was clean and well maintained.

Everything was as expected. The only detail we noticed was that elevators inspection card was expired.

Great experience. Only issue was not anything the hotel could remedy, the swimming pool was not available.

It was a really nice stay. The room was very clean, beds comfortable. It was quiet. In a real easy place to get too. Restraunts, stores, all within 5 minutes of the hotel. Breakfast was great. Good variety. My only complaint is the elevator was unnerving to ride on. We were on the top floor. It made awful grinding type noises going to and from. It actually shimmied once when a person got off ahead of us. It did not feel safe. My son and neice were very afraid of it as well.

The room was spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I was there for a relative funeral and the staff were comforting. The breakfast was very delicious and fresh!! I forgot to request a fridge in my room due to medication and was promptly informed of all the amenities in the room. Plenty of parking.

We were on the 4th floor. The Wi-Fi did not work. The toilet world run after flushing so had to jiggle the handle to make it stop. The elevators could be cleaner.

This was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in and I travel a lot! I purchased a double queen room for my sister and I so we could go antiquing in the area. The rooms are spacious, had a medium sized fridge that held much more than expected; there was also a microwave, a Keurig coffee maker, and a wall operated a/c unit! The beds were a bit firm for my liking, but the pillows were perfect and the comforter was fluffy. I was impressed with the usb/plugin hookups on the middle nightstand and evidently my sister had never seen that before! The indoor pool was just divine! My sister and I had it all to ourselves an hour before it closed. Although, the bathrooms in that area were a bit of a mess, but I can only assume it’s from people using it all day. The breakfast was AMAZING! I was pleasantly surprised that there were several vegetarian options. I was able to get a cheese omelet, biscuits (like KFC!), cinnamon rolls, yogurt, and a decent cup of coffee. The other options were amazing as well, with a pancake maker, bagels, toast, warm meat items and other kinds of omelets, fruit, oatmeal, cereal, etc! The only gripes I have was the loud restaurant/bar next door and about the luggage trolleys. When we first walked in the lobby, a man was pointing out a sharp broken metal piece to the staff and when we grabbed ours it was the same way. Broken small metal rods that could slice a hand open. We were very careful. Overall, this was a very pleasant experience and stay!

The whole building is under rehab，strong smell，but they are still open for booking, w/o any warning

I stayed from Thursday- Monday and did not receive room service once. Saturday morning I put the towels on the bathroom floor in a pile, assuming that I was helping the cleaning staff. I came back extremely late and sweaty (partying) Sunday early morning hours to no clean towels and was also out of toilet paper! My sister addressed the issue with the front desk staff, we were given what we needed but it felt undercut. Sunday we prepared for a wedding in the morning. We left around 8am and returned to the room still not attended to. The breakfast was nice and convenient however it doesn’t change much and the options were slim. Very good though especially since it was free.

Not well kept. Needs updating/renovation

Hair in the linens. Debris in the sheets. Door needs more soundproofing. It would be great for someone raised in a tent.

Cleanest motel I’ve ever been at! The price was great and it was in a peaceful, quiet location.

We loved our stay at Holiday Inn Express in Cumming. #1 was the cleanliness: spotless rooms, eating area etc. CLEAN! #2 Everyone from front desk to breakfast very FRIENDLY and helpful. #3 BREAKFAST buffet. Bacon, pork or turkey sausage, sggs scrambled or omeletts, waffles/pancakes, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, juices, milk, cinnamon rolls, fried potatos, biscuits and gravy, etc. etc. etc. #4 COMFORTABLE rooms, beds, pillows, etc. A/C worked great, good lighting and blinds, etc. Loved it.

Great place to stay in the middle of everything we needed. Clean and convenient. Great breakfast.

Housekeeping twice left our door unlocked when they finished cleaning. Fortunately, nothing was missing.

The hotel was clean and the room was comfortable and spacious. We had to be up very early the next day and would not get breakfast. The guest service representative made sure to let the night auditor know and they had a grab and go bag ready for us in the morning. The hotel was located right by lots of restaurants and shops. My only complaint was that the sound proofing of the rooms was not that great. It was hard to sleep with doors slamming and loud footsteps from above. It sounded like people were stomping on the floor.

Room was clean and very comfortable. Staff was nice. Only con was our refrigerator did not work in our room.

It was fine. Bed linens very clean Plenty of towels The mirror lights didn’t work so the bathroom was a bit dark Quieter than I expected as far as highway noise Rowdy neighbors upstairs but I suppose that’s not the hotel’s fault

The only thing that got me was the bed felt like it was leaning toward the headboard when I felt like I was sleeping on my head

The door towards room 319 doesn‘t fit into the door Frame. Fix it please, because opening the door causes unnecessary noise to other guests. All in all ok-Good breakfast!

The staff was amazing! Everyone was so helpful. We had a large group staying at the hotel, and staff and management were very accommodating. I would definitely recommend, and will stay there again if I’m ever in the area.

Room is clean and comfortable. But Guest service is very bad. Front desk rep is not treating customers friendly. We waited more than 3 hours to get the room. I understand the check-in time is 3PM. But she made all customers to wait until 3 PM instead of checking in as the room gets ready. I never had such a terrible check-in experience.

Initially there was a problem with the reservation. I was confirmed for one king size bed and when we arrived the front desk said it was two double beds. I showed my confirmation that was sent via email, explained my husband was very tall, they put us in an available one king size bed room. Very service oriented and we stayed an extra night.

Do not stay here unless you want to plunge your own toilet. Horrible customer service.

This hotel was ok. It wasn’t the worse place I have ever stayed. The staff however did not impress me at all. We arrived early before check in and asked if our room was ready. The man at the front counter told me to check back in about an hour and the room maybe ready. After an hour I went back to the front desk and he was short with me and didn’t not even attempt to check to see if the room was ready. I sat in the lobby and not five minutes after I was told rooms weren’t ready, a gentleman came in and he instantly got his key even though he was early as well. The front desk staff was not what I am used when staying at other hotels of multiple different chains. I understand if rooms aren’t ready, but when you weren’t even willing to check and we’re rude when I asked at your recommended time.

It’s conveniently located near the commercial area of the town. There were kids next door screaming and laughing running up and down the floor between 1 am and 2 am. I can’t sleep when I’m woken up and when I went to the front desk to complain the person at the desk heard them. I think it was ridiculous for me to tell him to take care of it. Each time I needed help, I would stand at the front desk for minutes and scream before someone would answer.

The hotel is in a great location. It felt like a very safe area, the breakfast was good and there is tons of places to eat in the area. If shopping is your thing then you’re in going to be pleased.
