The advance information was accurate and the welcome was helpful. Advice on local places and how best to reach them was good. Parking was easy in the road outside the property. Cleanliness was noticeable throughout the hotel and the bed was very comfortable. There were multiple signs that the present owners are investing in raising standards.

Warm welcome, sorted out a 2 day parking permit no problem. Room was spacious, clean and plenty of beverage selection. Breakfast was very tasty and filling. Made to feel welcome by all the staff. Definitely will be back

Lovely place with easy walking distance to the sea front and the town. The room was comfortable and perfect for our one night stay. We had a really nice breakfast before leaving to set us off on our way. Very helpful advice as well about the parking as the disc zone starts almost outside and there are plenty of discs in reception.

This was a nice hotel and the staff was great! They had a free hot breakfast and offered to make us a take away one but we had to leave too early. The stairs were wide, the room nice and we enjoyed our stay. Drove passed it the first time. Keep your eyes peeled.

Amazing hotel. A real find. The owners are so welcoming. The room has everything you need- particularly Yorkshire tea bags. The facilities were fantastic for the price and what we needed for a weekend stay. Moretti on tap and a pool table in the cosy bar. The breakfast was exceptional. Will definitely stay again and would highly recommend.

Clean, comfortable, and convenient. Simon and Sarah were wonderful hosts for our two-nights stay. English breakfast and small bar with beer and cocktails made for a delightful stay. Friendly conversations with hosts were an added benefit!

We had an amazing stay. Grandsons loved the pool room, played cards as well. The bedroom was so lovely and spacious, comfortable. Had everything we needed towels, ensuite. Thank you so much. Definitely recommend you. Breakfast was delicious 😋

Hotel was clean, well maintained and rooms were tastefully decorated, well equipped with an abundance of tea, coffee, milk and biscuits. Check in was straightforward and welcoming and all staff were uber efficient, polite and helpful. The location was spot on! Just a short walk to the beach front and off you go. Breakfast was freshly prepared and served in a lovely dining room; juices, cereal and filter coffee followed by toast and a full English, plus pancakes and omelettes were also on offer. We would definitely book again and highly recommend a stay here, you won’t be disappointed!

Lovely welcome from some great owners, the room was spotless and everything had been thought through. I have never seen a showwer tray and bathroom so clean it looked like new. Massive cooked breakfast and options for every taste. When we come back to Scarborough we will be staying here, many thanks

Booked a superior double room. Very comfortable king sized bed. Room and premises very clean. We arrived over 3 hours early, happy to let us have room early. Had a delicious full English breakfast each morning. Looked after us very well, gave very helpful local information. Will for sure return.

Our family had a truly wonderful stay at this charming and welcoming hotel. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home thanks to the warm hospitality of the staff. Each morning began with a delicious full English breakfast, complete with quality coffee and cheerful service that set a positive tone for the day. I had a one night stay here in a twin room and it was fantastic. The location was ideal and everything was clean and tidy. Our room was ready when we arrived around 12 so we checked in and then went off to explore Scarborough. The full English cooked set is up for the day too. All in all a great B&B which is highly recommended.

Warm welcome, sorted out a 2 day parking permit no problem. Room was spacious, clean and plenty of beverage selection. Breakfast was very tasty and filling. Made to feel welcome by all the staff. Definitely will be back

Bedroom was to a good standard, bathroom was smart and immaculate, breakfast was extremely good and the staff were attentive and always to go further if required.

Amazing hotel. A real find. The owners are so welcoming. The room has everything you need- particularly Yorkshire tea bags. The facilities were fantastic for the price and what we needed for a weekend stay. Moretti on tap and a pool table in the cosy bar. The breakfast was exceptional. Will definitely stay again and would highly recommend.

Lovely family run hotel within walking distance of Scarborough. Rooms were really clean & well stocked with tea, coffee & biscuits. Great breakfast & you pick exactly what you want & cooked to order. Plus cereals, fruit, fruit juice, tea & coffee.

Our room was very nice, which had a 4 poster bed, very comfortable. Breakfast was very nice. My husband said it was the best breakfast her had every had.

We had a pleasant overnight stay at the Raincliffe Hotel. The room was lovely & clean. Tea, Coffee, Hot Chocolate & Biscuits were a lovely treat to have. The room was extremely hot due to the heat wave we were having but the owner was so kind to allow us an additional fan to try to be as comfortable as possible despite the heat. Shower was spotless & decent. So were the beds. Breakfast was superb! Again the staff on hand were really lovely & bent over backwards to give us a lovely stay. I will definitely consider this hotel again for future stays as it was conveniently only a short walk to the sea front & Prominade.
