L’hôtel est situé à 10mn de l’arrêt de bus et 20mn de la gare à pied, dans une montée. Quand on est bien chargé avec ses bagages, c’est compliqué. Le personnel est sympathique et serviable mais cela ne suffit pas à compenser la qualité médiocre de l’établissement, vieillot et qui mériterait un bon rafraîchissement (moquette usée, peinture qui se décolle des murs, vaisselle ébréchée). De plus, la piscine annoncée est bien là mais… elle était vide donc indisponible sans en avoir été informé et sans aucun geste commercial. L’annonce sur hôtels.com est donc trompeuse. Pas de climatisation, seulement un ventilateur inutilisable avec le bruit qu’il fait, on a eu très chaud. Le petit déjeuner est très moyen aussi. Prix très excessif pour la qualité de cet établissement que je ne recommande pas. Seuls points positifs, la vue et le personnel.

Words cannot describe how terrible this hotel is. Cost a fortune and gave our balcony room away. Bed like an army cot to short to fit on. Rude receptionist who made my partner go out in a severe electrical storm to retrieve luggage without delay. Run down facility. Poorly constructed and noisy. No air conditioning. And more. Avoid at all costs!!

The staff in the front desk is the best staff I ever seen in my life they so nice and friendly. The issue we had is no fridge or working AC otherwise the staying was great.

Did not like the fact there was not a shuttle or car service to the train station. It was quite a walk up and down a very steep hill. Would have preferred options for lunch and dinner. We had to walk to other hotels for lunch and dinner. The scenery was beautiful but it was at a cost. A taxi was roughly $25 francs one way to the train station.

Juliana is a great hostess. The hotel is located in a countryside area and waking up there is a plus… The rooms need a little updating in the bathrooms and the carpet, the beds are comfortable and they have parking.

The views from the hotel are beautiful, but to get there is difficult thru very narrow streets. Walk to the train station is convenient which allows easy access to all area activities, but the return walk is strenuous as it is quite a hill to climb. Parking is limited at the hotel. The hotel itself is very nicely decorated inside, rooms are clean, breakfast service is very good, staff is pleasant. Hotel appears older and in need of some structural upgrades on the outside.

Rooms could use a little refresh but overall they were super clean and serviceable. We were extremely grateful for a fan as it was hot and even with the balcony doors open the room was warm. Our son loved the pool, the breakfast was very good, and the scenery from our balcony was beautiful!

Staff was amazing, the accommodations were nice, no AC so in summer it was slightly hot, but I only really came back to sleep. Getting to town you had to take a bus, so planning things in Interlaken was based around that. Breakfast was good and the area was quiet.

The location and the common areas of the hotel are nice. However the conditions of the rooms vary greatly. We had booked 4 single rooms. One had been renovated and was nice, two were Ok and one (room 12) was awful because its bathroom was unacceptable. The staff at check in was not very personable. Breakfast was good and the staff was friendly.

Mildew build up on windows and bathtub and walls. We got sick from the bad conditions of our rooms. The hotel refused to allow us to check out the next day and forced us to pick other rooms to stay in. Old rustic property in many rooms. Some lights work and others don’t. Floor so old and uneven. Staff rude and disrespectful. Our room key got stolen among other items when our car was broken into in the big city. The hotel asked for a police report which we provided upon their request. They still charged us $150 franks for losing the key and with the police report they still did not waive the fee knowing that we lost so much because of the theft. They listed laundry facilities but that’s not true! They charge for every service and do not have any facilities for their guests use.

Not a good hotel the bathroom tub is too high. I cannot climb and in the room has everywhere is spiders and cockroach. I take the pictures and videos of spiders and cockroach not worth it at all 0% very hard to get there too

This place was super expensive but it was run down and filthy and the staff was unfriendly. The room was uncomfortable and the furniture is a joke. The place is falling apart. I would never recommend this place. The only upside is the view and location.

I absolutely love this hotel, I don’t have a negative thing to say about it. It was super clean. The staff was kind, patient, helpful and thoughtful. Breathtaking view! It’s definitely on the quiet side, which makes sense since it’s in a residential neighborhood. It is a little outdated, but I think it brings/completes its charm. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Switzerland soon 💕.

The views out my window in the morning were sureal. To wake up in the morning and see the sunrise against the mountain valley. Cows in the farmlands below and seeing the snow capped mountains in the background. This hotel is dated, so noise from other patrons is a little issue (foot steps, floor boards creaking, talking outside) But a set of earplugs solved any issues I had with this hotel. Will definitely stay here again if given the chance

I chose a larger room with a view and balcony. Even so, the room was small. The view was gorgeous. Breakfast was very good. Getting there was a challenge because of road construction and Google maps had not been updated - not the hotel's fault

På genomresa mot Italien stannade vi två nätter för lite hiking i alpområdet och strosande runt Interlaken. Hotellet låg i Wilderwil som var som en litet bihang till Interlaken, där man kunde åka buss emellan på ca 10-15 min. Hotellet låg längst in i denna byn på höjden, så man hade otrolig utsikt över bergen åt ena hållet och över dalen där Interlaken låg åt andra hållet. Otroligt fin utsikt att vakna upp till direkt från sängen. Det märktes att hotellet var gammalt då det var slitna dörrar och väggar, fönstret i duschen hade till och med börjat trasa sönder pga fuktigt trä. Det var även ganska trångt rum och badrum, speciellt för oss som hade spjälsäng för vår 1-åriga dotter. Hissen var ganska trång också så vi fick åka 2-3 gånger för att komma upp med packningen, sängen och vagnen. Men läget och utsikten vägde upp för mycket av det :) De hade väldigt trevlig personal i receptionen och i frukosten som visade intresse i oss och vår resa. Och de hade gratis parkering precis utanför hotellet.

We had a phenomenal visit as the staff was delightful, the breakfasts each morning were delicious, and the location was perfect! We had everything we needed at the hotel including a beautiful view and comfortable accommodations. Louisa, Linda & Victoria made us feel at home immediately as did the rest of the staff and we were sorry to leave. Thank you for a fantastic visit and we hope to see you again soon!

This place was super expensive but it was run down and filthy and the staff was unfriendly. The room was uncomfortable and the furniture is a joke. The place is falling apart. I would never recommend this place. The only upside is the view and location.

Perfect spot for a solo traveller, location is a short walk from the train station, hotel room was clean and comfortable and staff were very kind. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love this hotel, I don’t have a negative thing to say about it. It was super clean. The staff was kind, patient, helpful and thoughtful. Breathtaking view! It’s definitely on the quiet side, which makes sense since it’s in a residential neighborhood. It is a little outdated, but I think it brings/completes its charm. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Switzerland soon 💕.

I chose a larger room with a view and balcony. Even so, the room was small. The view was gorgeous. Breakfast was very good. Getting there was a challenge because of road construction and Google maps had not been updated - not the hotel's fault

Great location near the train station for easy access to Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald. Very outdated interior. Good breakfast included in the rate. It’s hard for me to wrap my head around Swiss hotel prices for the quality of the hotel.

The hotel is in a scenic location. Wilderswil Village is a beautiful place, and we chose this hotel mainly for that reason. We enjoyed the scenery. The room was comfortable, and there were no issues with the facilities. The breakfast was good. It is a hike from the railway station, though.

På genomresa mot Italien stannade vi två nätter för lite hiking i alpområdet och strosande runt Interlaken. Hotellet låg i Wilderwil som var som en litet bihang till Interlaken, där man kunde åka buss emellan på ca 10-15 min. Hotellet låg längst in i denna byn på höjden, så man hade otrolig utsikt över bergen åt ena hållet och över dalen där Interlaken låg åt andra hållet. Otroligt fin utsikt att vakna upp till direkt från sängen. Det märktes att hotellet var gammalt då det var slitna dörrar och väggar, fönstret i duschen hade till och med börjat trasa sönder pga fuktigt trä. Det var även ganska trångt rum och badrum, speciellt för oss som hade spjälsäng för vår 1-åriga dotter. Hissen var ganska trång också så vi fick åka 2-3 gånger för att komma upp med packningen, sängen och vagnen. Men läget och utsikten vägde upp för mycket av det :) De hade väldigt trevlig personal i receptionen och i frukosten som visade intresse i oss och vår resa. Och de hade gratis parkering precis utanför hotellet.

The views from the hotel are beautiful, but to get there is difficult thru very narrow streets. Walk to the train station is convenient which allows easy access to all area activities, but the return walk is strenuous as it is quite a hill to climb. Parking is limited at the hotel. The hotel itself is very nicely decorated inside, rooms are clean, breakfast service is very good, staff is pleasant. Hotel appears older and in need of some structural upgrades on the outside.

Beware if you have mobility problems with walking. It’s a lovely hotel to stay at if you have a car but from the railroad station it’s a 6/10th of a mile almost straight up to the driveway of the hotel, which of course is also uphill. There is a bus that runs partially up the hill almost every half hour but we didn’t have much luck with that though we did see it. We are in our seventies and my husband has leg/ back problems so it was a difficult stay for us especially after a day out. It certainly put a stress on our stay in Switzerland. Also there is only breakfast so you have to find another restaurant open. We were a bit off season but you can partially go down part of the hill to get lunch or dinner. They do provide a plentiful breakfast and the surroundings are beautiful countryside so if you are looking for peace or have a car I would recommend it. Just not great if you are traveling by train and trying to sightsee during the day.

We had a phenomenal visit as the staff was delightful, the breakfasts each morning were delicious, and the location was perfect! We had everything we needed at the hotel including a beautiful view and comfortable accommodations. Louisa, Linda & Victoria made us feel at home immediately as did the rest of the staff and we were sorry to leave. Thank you for a fantastic visit and we hope to see you again soon!

Did not like the fact there was not a shuttle or car service to the train station. It was quite a walk up and down a very steep hill. Would have preferred options for lunch and dinner. We had to walk to other hotels for lunch and dinner. The scenery was beautiful but it was at a cost. A taxi was roughly $25 francs one way to the train station.

The hotel is way below a 3 star. This was a last min trip and w low availability we booked this hotel as it was rated greater than 8. Amenities state that there is an elevator but only in the main building. Not in the “chalet”. No one is available to help w hauling suitcases to upper floors in the chalet. This could be a problem for some. We did finally get someone to help us w the luggage. The towels in the room were threadbare - one was torn w holes. There were dust balls on the fan that were blowing into the air and on to the carpet. FYI: It is 11 min walk from the bus stop which is up a hill. Walking up is ok but dragging suitcases up the hill may be a problem. It is a 20 min walk from local train station and up the hill is part of the walk. Cost of taxi for 2 people w luggage from Interlaken Ost or West is about 32-37 CHF. Breakfast was good. Staff at front desk were courteous.

Terrible room. The room we got was not renovated. The floor made a lot of squeeking noises, the bathroom was extremely small with a noisy fan, there was no AC and no ventilation in the room. We had to open the balcony door, a wasp came in. The closet in the room was closed with a key we did not have, no where to put your stuff. We got some bites after one night there, some bedbugs or fleas.
