Hotel Résidence Anglet Biarritz-Parme

The public areas are very shabby and the windows need a good clean. The room itself was basic but clean and the bed was comfy (for 1. 2 maybe not so.) It was nice to have a balcony overlooking the pool which again looked shabby and in need of a good clean. A few mismatched loungers didn’t help with the overall look. There was no hand soap provided. Had to use the shower gel which was awkwardly placed behind the shower screen. Don’t think this is acceptable. Restaurant and bars advertised are not open. Be prepared to walk about 1 mile to a couple of restaurants or the supermarket. There is a fridge , table & chairs but no utensils. Only one small glass. It served its purpose as an overnight as I waited for onward travel. It could be so much better.

This hotel needs refurbishing. There were places where panels had come off the wall, lights no lights longer came on in corridors, wooden frames around sinks and mirrors were cracked and broken BUT this was one of the cleanest hotel rooms abathrooms
