Hotel Blüchertal

Room was cleaned, but there was no staff or other guests at the hotel while we were staying. No bedsheets clean up, no changed towels, no collect trash the bin, no drinking water in the room. It’s more like Air bnb not like the hotel. The good thing was the parking lots in front of the hotel.

We checked in at night and cannot evaluate the service since we spoke to staff over intercom. Next morning didn't see anyone. We had breakfast in town since we only stayed one night.

It’s 1.5 km uphill ride away from downtown. We didn’t receive the information required to enter the hotel/room. We had to call and wait for a response. Just hate these hotels without a reception. Always a hassle. Otherwise, nice room. Budget friendly.

Das Hotel hat einen Charme.

We loved this hotel. It was easy to access, cheap parking across the street and a short walk to the main areas of town. We had a private porch with a view up the mountain. We slept well and enjoyed our time there. Notes for other travelers: the parking machine is $4 per day but only takes coins; most places in town only take cash; breakfast is only offered on weekends; coffee is for sale by machine but it only takes coins.
