What a lovely lovely guesthouse! We were there for a week, drawn there by the Tiroler Festspiele across the way in Erl, Austria. We didn’t know what to expect but were so pleasantly surprised. While at the hotel we spent time walking and hiking, and visiting nearby places such as the fortress in Kufstein. Every time we returned to the hotel it was a lovely feeling of returning home. It was so clean, comfortable and welcoming. The Schmid family was so kind and helpful. We loved the afternoons when there was coffee and cake served, and even loved the periodic thunder storms. We don’t get those so regularly at home in Los Angeles. We hope to return in the future. Next time we will rent a car from the get-go. We realized how helpful a car would be so rented one a few days into our stay. This made our trips back and forth to Erl quick and effortless.
