My wife and I had a great time staying at this beautiful cabin. We were right on the river, and had front row seats to seeing the wildlife (including two eagles!) Very easy to check in and check out, kitchen is well set up as well. Fire pit and grill are also easy to use. All in all, we had a very relaxing and wonderful time. Thanks for letting us enjoy the cabin!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The place was clean, the hosts were kind with good communication, and the views were wonderful! The place is well-stocked with thoughtful details and it's nicely decorated. We loved watching the birds on the deck, fishing in a little opening on the shoreline and all the indoor seating options with a view! They even added a nice screen porch in the lower level which is great addition! Like many places, there's minor maintenance things, road noise as mentioned and more stairs than expected but none of them impacted our stay. Overall, we really enjoyed a relaxing getaway!

We stayed here for 2 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. BEAUTIFUL property and perfect location for a true getaway. Check in process was easy and communication with the hosts was awesome. We felt safe and comfortable and loved the River views. If you are a light sleeper, there is traffic noise but it didn’t really bother us. I would highly recommend having a bonfire - a bundle of wood is just $5 and it’s a nice fire pit with plenty of seating. Overall a great weekend stay!

We had a wonderful time at the riverside chalet! The view from the living room is fantastic, you are literally a stone's throw away from the river when you're on the deck, a nice fire pit area with wood available for purchase, and the chalet itself is cozy and charming! Would stay again!

Can't say enough about this place and the owners. Perfect for getting away and enjoying seclusion while only being 20min from Spring Green amenities. Canoeing on the river was magical, cant wait to return!!

Sandy met us right at the expected time. She was warm and friendly, and made us feel right at home. The house has a beautiful view of the river, which we enjoyed while eating on the deck. The accomodations were perfect for us. It had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend, and Sandy was the perfect host!

Rick & Sandy were welcoming and gracious hosts. Their property on the Wisconsin River is beautiful. The chalet is clean with a well stocked kitchen & bathroom. We enjoyed bird life on the deck, warm outdoor fires & beauty of the river. We hope to stay again!

We were delighted with this cabin on the river. The location was so peaceful. Everything was very clean and tastefully decorated with style. As far as help, Sandy and Rick were present to answer questions What a pleasure to meet them and obtain useful information. It is on our list to return again.

The place was very clean and very beautiful. You could not ask for a better view. The host was very kind showing us everything we needed to know. The ONLY thing that we didn’t know was how close the house was to the main road through town. Pretty noisy. Other than that we had a wonderful time.

Sandy was super friendly & met us at check in to make sure we understood how to use the TV, heat, thermostats, ETC. What a beautiful property for our "Sister Getaway!" Everything was super clean & so very cozy & inviting. Would recommend to anyone wanting a charming & quaint getaway. Thank you so much!

The Chalet was just beautiful with the view of the river and all the birds on the property. The cabin was cozy and welcoming with lovely antique furniture but all the modern conveniences. The hosts think of everything to make it a great stay.

The view of the Wisconsin River can't be matched. Rick and Sandy have everything you need to make your stay absolutely perfect. (The winding staircase to the downstairs bed area would be tricky for people who cannot do stairs. Nothing wrong with them, just good to know.) We enjoyed the lovely morel cheese they left us to enjoy at the kick off to our morel mushroom festival weekend! Really, such a lovely, lovely place. You will be so happy you picked to stay at the chalet!

This was our third stay at the Riverside Chalet. It is beginning to feel like home away from home! Sandy, our host, is always so kind and communicates so well. The property is homey and lovely and has everything we could need. Bird watching here has launched a new past time for me! We could not ask for a better place to stay while we are on our annual meet up with friends.

My wife and I were in the area for Spring Green activities. We really enjoyed our stay. Sandy met us at check in and made sure were aware of where to find light switches, fans, etc. Sandy was quick to communicate at all times. Awesome view of the river and really enjoyed the birds. Would stay again without question.

Absolutely beautiful!!! Sandy & Rick are amazing hosts. We will be back for sure! We loved the fresh flowers & local cheese waiting for us upon arrival! It’s the little things that mean so much!!

My husband and I do a Spring Green weekend every year to see a show at The American players Theatre. This was the first year year we did a VRBO rental. We met friends for a 3 might stay and it could not have been a better set up. Sandy was so kind and helpful! She left a local paper for us alerting us to the art fair. She is so thoughtful and organized. The Chalet was perfect for our little party of four. The view of the river was what caught our attention in the first place and it did not disappoint. We spent our slow mornings with coffee, staring out the picture window across the water and bird watching for hours! It was close proximity to everything we came to do. It was cozy and quiet. The road noise didn’t bother us at all! Didn’t even notice the traffic on the road above. We will aim to visit again!

She is so thoughtful and organized. The Chalet was perfect for our little party of four. The view of the river was what caught our attention in the first place and it did not disappoint. We spent our slow mornings with coffee, staring out the picture window across the water and bird watching for hours! It was close proximity to everything we came to do. It was cozy and quiet. The road noise didn’t bother us at all! Didn’t even notice the traffic on the road above. We will aim to visit again!

The view of the Wisconsin River can't be matched. Rick and Sandy have everything you need to make your stay absolutely perfect. (The winding staircase to the downstairs bed area would be tricky for people who cannot do stairs. Nothing wrong with them, just good to know.) We enjoyed the lovely morel cheese they left us to enjoy at the kick off to our morel mushroom festival weekend! Really, such a lovely, lovely place. You will be so happy you picked to stay at the chalet!

Sandy was an excellent host. Every detail was thought of down to the book giving recommendations and rules to the house. Beautiful river facing windows were the perfect backdrop to sipping coffee, catching up and bird watching. As the listing states, there is some road noise but it didn't bother our group. Cars driving by were few and far between. Wish we would have had more time to spend a few more days.

We stayed here for 2 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. BEAUTIFUL property and perfect location for a true getaway. Check in process was easy and communication with the hosts was awesome. We felt safe and comfortable and loved the River views. If you are a light sleeper, there is traffic noise but it didn’t really bother us. I would highly recommend having a bonfire - a bundle of wood is just $5 and it’s a nice fire pit with plenty of seating. Overall a great weekend stay!

We were delighted with this cabin on the river. The location was so peaceful. Everything was very clean and tastefully decorated with style. As far as help, Sandy and Rick were present to answer questions What a pleasure to meet them and obtain useful information. It is on our list to return again.

The place was very clean and very beautiful. You could not ask for a better view. The host was very kind showing us everything we needed to know. The ONLY thing that we didn’t know was how close the house was to the main road through town. Pretty noisy. Other than that we had a wonderful time.

Can't say enough about this place and the owners. Perfect for getting away and enjoying seclusion while only being 20min from Spring Green amenities. Canoeing on the river was magical, cant wait to return!!

Rick & Sandy were welcoming and gracious hosts. Their property on the Wisconsin River is beautiful. The chalet is clean with a well stocked kitchen & bathroom. We enjoyed bird life on the deck, warm outdoor fires & beauty of the river. We hope to stay again!
