The room we stayed in (137) had some sort of brown stains on the shower curtain, cockroaches in the bathroom. They also kept the hallway at 80 degrees and the ac in the room wouldn’t cool down the room. We also went to the pool at 9:45 pm after confirming the pool doesn’t close till 10:30 and as we were trying to get out the lights shut off at 10:17pm. I specifically remember checking the time because we couldn’t believe it was 10:30 already. Then I went and told the front desk lady that I thought the pool was closed at 10:30. She said that the lights are on an automatic timer. My mom could have fell but instead of the lady, noticing the lights were off, she was too busy on her phone to notice we were still in there and turn the lights back on.

We chose to stay at this hotel because after five days of traveling we just needed a day to stay and relax. They advertise a swimming pool and spa so sounded perfect. After they got me checked in they let me know that the swimming pool and spa we’re not up and running and we’re being worked on and hopefully would be up by the next day. I later found out that they actually had five health code violations as they had to post it on the door. The beds were fairly comfortable, but the air conditioner never cooled down the room. We put the air conditioner to 61 and it never fell below 80 in the room the morning of our last day we realize that there was a puddle of damp carpet underneath the air conditioner. I contacted hotels.com to try to cancel my second night and rearrange a different place but when they made contact with the hotel, they were put on hold and hung up on several times.

Was disappointed that kids could come an go through the pool area. Talked to management about it. Acted as if they were surprised but the kids new what they were doing an had done it several times before.

Upon arriving to check in we learned the pool was under renovations it stated on the website it would be closed June 5-6 only. After discussing this with the front desk clerk that we’d like to cancel our reservation she looked to see if they had a cancellation policy

The attendant that checked me in was very bland and not helpful at all….. seems there’s a lack of communication….. I was not notified about breakfast times…. pool and fitness hours nor check out time….. I really only booked for the use of the pool for my kids….. and didn’t notice until after I had unloaded all of my things that there was an out of service sign on the pool door…… when I asked the attendant he was unaware and had to verify with other staff members if it was actually out of service or not…. Of the four machines in the fitness room only one worked…… breakfast was great and the weekend attendant (young lady) was great as well….

This hotel has an elegant touch for a moderate price. The room was comfortable and spacious. We didn't use the pool, but our friends were happy to have an indoor pool in the winter. Breakfast wasn't exciting, but the coffee was good.

What was not amazing about my stay is that the room was not clean. The AC wall unit was dirty and old. It would not shut down, cob webs & fries were found next to the unit and under. To top it off there was a dead roach under it. I stayed there for 2 nights and on the second day as I was leaving for work I notified the front desk of the issues and they told me that housekeeping would go in and clean it out. Well when I got back around 7 pm, the issues were not taken care of. Very disappointing. The bathroom was also a disappointment. The shower head had lime and almost rust on it, and the wall looked like someone had hung themselves on it.

This hotel serves a price point, so I understand a lack of niceties such as smart TVs and usb charging ports and a lack of polish from years of deterioration. But I will deduct stars for poor housekeeping (hairs by the sink and in the shower, makeup stains on the sheets, and someone’s prescription bag in the bedside table from 3 months prior) and for lack of maintenance (broken and unsecured exterior doors.) I did appreciate the hot breakfast, but coffee was from a machine, not fresh brewed.

Arrived late & tired. Check in was fast. Pulled covers to get into bed and dirty sock was under cover. Quickly went to lobby & hotel staff on duty walked to room to see it. given another room. But, why was there a dirty sock under covers? Either covers on bed were dirty & not switched out between guests, hence dirty sock? Or was sock washed along with covers & that's how it ended up in what should be a clean bed? It was gross & should not have happened.

Our room was not dusted - it looked like in weeks. There was a big green booger on the bathroom wall. The staff did not want to give us any extra towels, said we only got 1 per day - she was not friendly.

The pillows are like cement bags,the curtains are so old they don't close allowing the neighboring lights to keep the room bright and the door is so un even that the hall lights also seep into the room. I didn't sleep but four hiurs total because the bed was so unconformable along with the blankets. I won't be staying here in the future.

Booked this property because of parent’s weekend at Texas Tech. Prices for rooms are astronomical and a complete case of greedy hotel honors price gouging. When we checked in the first room had an air conditioner that did not work at all. They moved us to another room but that air conditioner did not work well and the room was very warm all night. There is not decaf coffee offered with breakfast so you have to make it in the room and the coffee maker was broken in our room. Then the morning of checkout the toilet stopped flushing. When we informed the staff they basically shrugged it off. Very frustrating experience.

The only two issues were fairly minor. In room 229 the black out curtains were smaller than the window and didn't block the morning sun. Next the AC unit worked but the fan put out very little air. It finally cooled the room down after several hours.

The hotel over all was nice and the rooms were clean. Nice area close to the highway. Beds were comfortable. The only thing we didn’t like was the hit water was not getting hot all. It was barely warm at all. Other rooms were having same issue. Brought it to the hotels attention the first night and they said they would have maintenance take a look at it but it was never resolved. Other than that the hotel was nice.

The price is good for a decent hotel, there is nothing fancy about it. The rooms are clean, however its not central AC and when we stayed the window unit was not cooling rhe room AT ALL during the day, it was decently cool at night. Mind you, the temps are well over 100 in August in Lubbock... the hallways felt like a sauna... the ladies up front were really nice and procided fans for our rooms as they were waiting for maintenance to arrive. The breakfast was really good and freshly made throughout the hours they served breakfast. If your looking for sometbing of nicer quality go somewhere else... if you need a clean room to sleep in, this place is good.

I booked this hotel because I seen it had good reviews. Check in went well. Our room was on the second floor. As soon as we went up the stairs we could feel that it was hot. When we entered our room we noticed the air was not cooling. I went down stairs and the lady at the front desk told me she did not have any other rooms or fans available and that we could either checkout or wait until the morning so she could have the maintenance guy look at it. This let me know that they knew the ac was not cooling prior to us checking in. The room was not like in the pictures and the beds were hard. We decided to check out and my money was returned.

This let me know that they knew the ac was not cooling prior to us checking in. The room was not like in the pictures and the beds were hard. We decided to check out and my money was returned.

We were woken up by people trying to get in room. Desk clerk came and woke us again asking why we were in the room and how to spell name. At about 1 am again someone woke us trying to get in room. There was only 1 coffee park in the room. Shower was cold. Coffee machine at breakfast broken.

The property was very nice. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The only problem was the hot water. There was little to none. When reported they said others had reported it as well and they were trying to get maintenance out. That was the only negative. But the positives outweighed the negative. Will definitely stay here again if I come back thru Lubbock. The staff was incredible. Kudos to each of the front desk staff.

The attendant that checked me in was very bland and not helpful at all….. seems there’s a lack of communication….. I was not notified about breakfast times…. pool and fitness hours nor check out time….. I really only booked for the use of the pool for my kids….. and didn’t notice until after I had unloaded all of my things that there was an out of service sign on the pool door…… when I asked the attendant he was unaware and had to verify with other staff members if it was actually out of service or not…. Of the four machines in the fitness room only one worked…… breakfast was great and the weekend attendant (young lady) was great as well….

We checked in around 11:30 pm and Teresa at the front desk was extremely nice and friendly. Room was clean, bed comfortable. The free breakfast was some of the best we've had!

The hotel over all was nice and the rooms were clean. Nice area close to the highway. Beds were comfortable. The only thing we didn’t like was the hit water was not getting hot all. It was barely warm at all. Other rooms were having same issue. Brought it to the hotels attention the first night and they said they would have maintenance take a look at it but it was never resolved. Other than that the hotel was nice.

Hotel located right off main road--easy on and off property. Couldn't get volume to work on tv first day, and the shower was difficult to turn on. Also a small trash can would've been nice to have in main room. Other than those few comments the hotel was very nice and staff was friendly and helpful. Breafast area was nice, clean and had a great assortment of breakfast foods.

Fantastic breakfast. Good location. Nice employees. Only issue was that light in the bathroom flickered, and it needs a lamp on both nightstands in my opinion. But I’m older and it was difficult to see. We scheduled another trip in 3 weeks so that tells you it was a nice stay! Ty

Staff were super easy to work with when I checked in. Located right off the highway and close to several dining options - all very convenient and accessible.

This hotel has an elegant touch for a moderate price. The room was comfortable and spacious. We didn't use the pool, but our friends were happy to have an indoor pool in the winter. Breakfast wasn't exciting, but the coffee was good.

Our room was warm upon arrival and we dropped off our luggage and turned on the AC and left for awhile only to come back to our hotel room with a warm room still. The unit said 62° but it was probably closer to 82°. We were not given enough towels, the dogs was pulled out a little and there was trash behind it that hadn't been picked up. The breakfast was awful. We will definitely not be staying here again, especially considering what we paid for a nightly rate.

The FRONT door had a sign “not working pull open” so I did and then the sensor activated and smashed close on me. What a beautiful entry. As I was checking in I asked how long the door has been not working expecting an answer within hours and the clears rolled his eyes and said, “I’ve been here for a month and it’s been out of order the whole time”. I could write more about no towel, ice machine broken (probably way longer than a month) and trash spewing out of the can but the entry door and the lack of respect for their own property should suffice. I’ve observed a trend in small business owners (franchise) taking over hotel chains are driving the baseline of expectations into the ground.

well, disappointed, but not 100%. 1. Reception, no one is there when arrive, it took nearly 40-50 minutes to get into room. We got our room 50minutes late. 2. Bath tub drain is very slow, we need to stand in the water and comptele batch, or stop shower, wait until water drained then continue shower, terrible. 3. We notice air conditioner is not giving enough coolness, when we put auto 69, it is increasing automatically to 72,37 etc. We called help desk, Mr. Jake visit out room at 12 midnight (Mr. Jake is really nice person, very good), he also noticed that and he apologized and offer another room but room is leaking water near A/C. Finally Jake provided box fan which helped us to sleep. 4. Next day, we informed front desk we will be late check out at around 12noon. We came back to hotel around 1145am, my access card is disabled. So again no one is available at frond desk, but not much time, they reactivated my card and we could able to take our belongings. Frond desk told me they try to call me before deactivate the card, but I never get any call.
