Mallory Court Country House Hotel & Spa

I had booked to stay in the hotel but although paying to stay in the hotel we were declined use of the spa as it was already full and no slots available. I didn’t expect to get treatments but at least use the sauna and pool.

Had a great weekend , the property is beautiful. Huge rooms, great pool facilities. Great breakfast choices. Dined in on the Saturday for a special occasion, perfect in every way, amazing food, lovely ambience. Will definitely revisit.

We had a one night stay here in September 2023. Overall, a mixed experience. The room cost was in the £150 region. The spa cost (£25 per head for 2 hours) was a reasonable cost, although having to pay that on top of the hotel room fee seems a bit steep. For the price, I’d like to see some more care in customer service (drinking water cooler not topped up, cups not stocked up etc). At no point in my two hours there did anyone come to take a drinks order from us. Just left a little bit underwhelmed. The facilities were great however. As a hotels.com gold Member and staying in a lot of hotels, we were pretty disappointed with the room. It was very dated (a TV that must have been pushing 20 years old), very basic decor and comfort. I’d put this on par with an average travelodge, and for more than triple the price of that kind of room. The meal and service however were excellent. Dorian our server for the tasting menu was superb. The food was excellent. Finally, all costs were put directly to the room and a standard 7% service charge added to the final bill (including the spa cost and restaurant). We paid that (mainly for Dorian) however it’s a bit cheeky to add that as an extra cost for things like the spa. Do: come here for the food Don’t: expect huge amounts from the actual hotel room

Exceptional hotel! My husband and I stayed here as a small break during our honeymoon through England. What a break! They have everything here, and - perhaps most importantly - everyone is genuinely warm and friendly. Staff seems to like each other and there was such a great atmosphere throughout. A joy to be a part of, not to mention their incredible spa services, swimming pool, outside jacuzzi (what a treat!), gym amenities and beautiful surroundings. The restaurant should also be mentioned as we both had all three meals of the day here: all excellent, and so is their Asian restaurant, Sencha. 10 out of 10 if not more!

Checkin was very good even got our bags carried to our room by a very polite staff member but Breakfast service was rather slow especially waiting 15 minutes for a coffee despite the place not being busy and very unfortunate that a guest was on the phone speaking very loudly spoiling the ambience of the hotel The spa was extremely good but needs pre booking before you arrive

Very attentive and friendly staff. The room was very clean, fresh, calming, and had free refreshments. The spa facilities were very peaceful and a welcome addition to my stay.

The hotel was a lovely place, however our room was ridiculously hot overnight with no way of turning the heating down. Also charging £15phpp for use of the Spa was expensive.

A stunning property and one of the nicest rooms I've ever stayed in. Great value for money. I loved all the facilities and the staff were very friendly. My only big disappointment was arriving at the hotel not to be able to use the pool and spa as apparently you have to book ahead. I had not been notified of this as I booked with Expedia not the hotel directly. This was a real shame and one of the reasons why we booked the hotel. We were able to book a one hour slot the following morning which was lovely - but better communication around this would have made my experience a higher rating.

Just had a lovely stay at Mallory Court. The hotel is gorgeous, we loved being able to have a drink and food in the patio area looking at the distant views. Our room was very well equipped, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The spa area is just fabulous and I had a very relaxing massage. Overall a great place and we will be back.

We stay above the main entrance door & at night & first thing in the morning the door kept banging closed & people talking. The room had horrible stains over the carpet The spa £15 extra had a broken shower outside (missing knob to turn shower on) Outside hot tub was nice & hot but the jets wasn’t working & missing tiles. Inside spa area had missing tiles the whole spa area needs a refurbishment

The staff in the hotel and the grounds are what make it special. The rooms are large but a bit tired and not a great attention to detail. The local area is beautiful and lots of places to visit and eat. Convenient parking at the hotel. But really if you like good service then this is the place to go.

Lovely hotel full of character.Plumbing in bedroom was atrocious.Sewer smells,toilet cystern takes forever to refill,taps only trickle.Management admitted problems due to age of plumbing - SURELY THEY NEED TO SPEND THE MONEY TO SORT OUT

Staff very courteous, breakfast cooked to order (which I like rather than buffet style) also tasty, nice gardens, room clean and well styled with everything I needed. Shower probably could be improved, although it was easily adjustable and worked. Some TV remote buttons didn't work but managed to work around it. Would definitely go back.

The original building that the Hotel was in had lots of character. The new build extension where l was given a room, its communal area carpets were very shabby. Try getting from room One to the lift in the morning, which was a little challenge.

Beautiful grounds and hotel. Unfortunately I feel like the hotel is trying to cling onto the “old fashioned” style to avoid spending any money updating rooms. However the rooms are very outdated, we had the classic room there was no light in the room just one lamp. There was a fan which was from the 1990’s in our room which didn’t add anything to the room apart from a awful racket it made when turned on. Apart from the rooms the hotel is beautiful.

Stayed here during the F1 at Silverstone. From the outside it’s a beautiful building. Parking is simple and ample spaces available for guests. The grounds are very well kept. We stayed in a double room which wasn’t in the main building it’s a short walk from reception to the building. The entrance is lovely and bright we were on the first floor. The rooms are small and lack any real character which was a shame. Some of the wooden furniture is chipped and damaged in places. The bathroom was extremely small, again dated and in need of some updating. Rusty shower screens, shower heads with no real power. Overall the rooms are just a little sad but with not much effort could be made lovely. On a plus the bed was comfy which was a bonus. Would I stay again probably not, if you aren’t going for the dining experience which I’m sure is lovely, there’s many other places nearby that offer more for similar money. Staff were friendly and well presented, be aware there is no ‘bar’ as such so if you are wanting just a drink there’s a small selection of seating you can sit at and a menu is brought over but it lacks any ambience. As we were just there for a place to sleep before heading out early every morning on checkout I was surprised to find a service charge added to the bill for breakfast which if we had eaten there I wouldn’t of minded but they should of known we hadn’t. This was removed from the bill by the staff. Overall a comfy bed, great staff but very out dated room

Helpful, attentive and friendly team of staff. Lovely, large room, well equipped with good layout. Hotel grounds, including car park, well maintained. What a luxury treat!

Lovely hotel, beautiful gardens. Spa was excellent, had a Mediterranean rock massage which I'd recommend. Breakfast was brilliant and overall service superb. Only downside was the bathroom in my room, probably needing upgraded in the next couple of years although that's me trying to be constructive. Well worth the money and would 100% stay there again when in the area.

The modern rooms are very bland and need updating with lots of wear and tear.

Room was very warm on arrival which took a while to cool down.

Excellent value for money, good spa, relatively small though. En-suites are gettimg a bit dated, still clean and enjoyable.

Gorgeous location. Beautiful main buildings and garden. Iur room was in a modern seperate building. The room was clean and tidy. There was no A/C and the room was very warm and we had a bad sleep, even though the outside temperature was cool.

I thought the bedroom dark and very small.

Excellent room, staff very welcoming

We loved the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the food - really lovely. The room was quite warm at night even though it was not a warm temperature outside - we prefer it cooler for sleep. That is not a complaint but an observation.

Mallory Court is a guaranteed great night sleep, excellent service and good room with the nice small details. I used to come to this hotel regularly years ago and it was wonderful to go back and see that the brilliant service and excellent breakfast remained unchanged! The spa is a great addition - relaxing and well managed too.

The service in this hotel is the best I have ever had in any hotel I’ve stayed in in the UK. Every detail is considered and thought of, you are made to feel instantly welcome and all the staff were wonderful!!! The hotel is gorgeous and a quintessentially English decor with modern elements as well… perfect balance. I can not speak highly enough about this hotel… it really did take service to the next level!!! Thank you to all the staff The food was also of a very high standard!

Mallory Court is a lovely building with pleasant gardens. The spa room suites are lovely. The staff are lovely but very overworked. They could do with more staff in the restaurant & to serve drinks

Staff bicker amongst one another which isn’t very professional. I had to wait 20 mins for a coffee and for the money you’re spending, the service is very slow.

The Mallory Court is a truly wonderful boutique style hotel. The best thing about this hotel are the staff who are all extremely friendly and courteous. For me this is the sign of a great place when every member of staff seems genuinely happy that you are staying there. It made us feel very special and appreciated and this is a rare and wonderful thing. Beyond that, the service is very efficient, the location is excellent with lovely country views. The grounds are very nice to walk in. Dinner was one of the best we've ever had and again the service was exceptional. I cannot fault any aspect of Mallory Court.

Unusually placed outside Lemington, currently disrupted on all sides by HL7, this beautiful building is quite an impressive vision to approach. Decades of harsh beatings from a thousand wedding parties have left a mark but the whole complex has been very well maintained and the addition of newer sleeping options which keep a good distance from the main building is reflectively ingenious. The different eras within the complex give the confidence that it's been long established and well run business for a long time, which brings me to the potential downside, over priced. While everyone working there is super keen(ish) to treat guests well, there feels a dark divide of funding. There is no leyway or movement in the high cost of being there. It is clearly a place to go when you reach the point of having more money than sense, the food, while incredibly delicious, comes at the price of a body part, a liver or arm perhaps. A meal for two coming in at 3 times the price of the room we stayed in. Essentially, half a year spent saving up 500 pounds is better spent on a long weekend in Paris with similar levels of quality and food, than one rather short evening in the midlands. A bottle of soda stream should never be a tenner! In short; amazing friendly, happy, almost interested staff in a gorgeous old (and new) hotel, clean and well maintained with a restaurant that serves incredibly beautifully prepared and tasty food that will cost you your soul.

Location is very attractive and atmospheric nature is scenic and beautiful.

I arrived late but was shown to my room by reception which was a nice touch. I chose this hotel because of the on site gym, parking and close proximity to leamington spa town.

A beautiful country hotel in a good location with parking. The room was spacious and there is an espresso machine along with fresh milk and complimentary drinks. The dinner and breakfast were both delicious.

Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Good service and good food.

Stunning property and grounds. Spa is good but saunas only get to 80 degrees and no higher. The rooms are fantastic but the pillows are poor. The staff are attentive when you arrive. Overall, breakfast was poor, it was over cooked and cold even the toast was cold and tasted like it had been sat for 10mins on the side. They forgot my drink and I had to ask twice same with the toast. Other than that I was really happy with the stay.
