Pool was down. Rest was good

It was just ok, it smelled like strong ammonia in the lobby everyday, which made it not appealing to eat the breakfast.

Some things should be updated and there a smell in the hallway.

There was a smell of smoke in the elevator and I am not a smoker. Pool was not in working order.

Room and entire hotel smelled musty.

This was the worst hotel experience I\'ve ever had. First, the room was smelly, wet, and dripping with condensation because the air conditioning looked like it hadn\'t been serviced in 30 years. Every piece of clothing, bedding, and towel was permanently wet in the room. Every metal surface was covered in water droplets and rusty. The walls and ceiling were stained with water damage. Some lights worked, some didn\'t. The wall plug ins were so loose and old, they were unusable. The tv screen was broken. The pool is padlocked and being "maintenanced" for an indefinite amount of time. It looks like it hasn\'t been open in years. This was a huge disappointment during our trip. The pool was a main reason we booked this instead of an air bnb. The "free breakfast" is watery waffle batter, nutrigrain bars, and fruit loops. The orange juice smells like pee. The \'apple\' juice is straight sugar. A drug deal happened in the hallway right outside our door. The end building entrance which is designed to require a key card was permanently unlocked. A homeless person came in and stripped down to underwear and washed his laundry. The only good thing I can say is the staff was very kind and accommodating. They were happy to provide fresh towels and answer questions. But the property is an absolute disaster. I don\'t see myself staying at any Wyndham property ever again. YIKES.

The desk clerks were amazing. But the overall smell from the time you walk in to the time you leave is overwhelming. I’m not sure if it’s mildew or it’s something else. But the smell was very unpleasant.

Room was very musky and the hallways were hot

The hotel didn’t smell clean, there was a mold smell the whole night, the iron was dirty and the ironing board. The staff was very pleasant and tried to accommodate us. I will never go to that property again. They need a major remodeling! I was overcharged for this hotel!!

It did not feel like a hotel it felt more of a motel. It wasnt clean, it was really dusty and the floors were dirty. The housekeepers acted as if they didnt understand English, they did not properly clean the room when ask. The pool was out of order so we never got a chance to swim and enjoy the weather. It was not worth $100 a night. Only thing i enjoyed was the receptionist. They were kind and sweet. This hotel needs a redo. Its so outdated and the breakfast food was horrible. I ran into several guests complaining.

Overall Hotel was clean. Bathroom vent fan did not work. Price was good.

had roaches crawling in bathroom and by the refrigerator no i did not call nobody i am sure you know they craw around. the bathroom facets just turned completely around never could get the water to the right temperature. the shower curtain need to be replaced with holes where it has separated from the original ring. its the little things that need to be taken care of that makes a difference.

I stayed for 4 days while working in town. Once entering my room something smelled like mildew. The entire bedding was damp. 2nd day I arrived back to my ac leaking so I turned it a very low setting when I left the next day. To which I arrived back to the same problem of day one, damp sheets which made the room smell

We were put in a handicap room and no one is disabled. Lamp switches didn't work, vent in bathroom made an awful noise, mold and mildew on shower head and in shower. Room was not cleaned nor were we given new towels. It's presented as a nice place, but reality is things are done on the cheap.

There was no hot water. The bathtub was dirty. Housekeeping did not leave fresh towels as requested. One of the lamps had a short. Woken up the first night multiple times with othr guests being loud and slamming doors.

When we first checked into our room, the door would latch closed all the way or lock at all. We were given another room. The only complaint was the A/C would only cool off to about 69 degrees or so. You could set it lower but it wouldn’t turn on right away and when it did, it would only run for a few minutes. Not sure if the A/C was just set up like that or not. For $100 I wasn’t expecting too much for a last minute stay. It worked out great for our family and the kids really enjoyed the free breakfast. There is an awkward smell as if it was smoked in at one time long ago. It does seem like an older hotel with some updates. $150 cheaper than the hotel next door. Obviously doesn’t seem as fancy but a well worth it budget hotel.

Quiet and comfortable stay

The staff was very hospitable and kind. Thank you for making are stay easy and convenient. The rooms were spacious and clean.

My wife and I were there to watch the Nicholls St. game. The location was too far from the stadium and near all eateries, very easy to get to. The place was clean and staff were friendly. The only issue we had was the A/C unit was EXTREMELY loud. Any time it cut on it was ridiculous. My wife didn't get any real rest due to that, but I slept like a baby so take from that what you will. If the A/C unit was jacked up then I would have zero complaints at all...purchase with confidence.

This is a fantastic place to stay in Thibodeaux. The customer service that I experienced was far beyond every expectations. I arrived very late at night and was warmly welcomed; so much was done to accommodate my needs . The hotel is clean and modern, and the beds very comfortable. It’s also very quiet and safe, although it’s surrounded by restaurants and anything else that you may need.

The air does not work for individual room setting.. it was a heavy damp heat... the lighting is so dim

I realize it's a 2 star hotel. However, we have stayed at this hotel almost every year for over 10 years. This time we got one of their suites which we had a couple years ago. The toilet seat moves and pinches you. We had it then and asked that it be changed and it was still on this time. The outlets in the bathroom did not work either. They offer a blow dryer - but it's hooked to the wall and no way to plug it in. Thankfully, I brought my own and could use it in the main area of the room. I went to the desk and they moved us to a regular room the next day. It was a 2 queen bed room. It was ok. On the website it says rooms have coffee makers. They don't. They offer breakfast. Waffles which kids enjoy. One kind of yogurt - blueberry (yuk). Some granola bars, fruit loops and raisin bran cereal. You could get coffee and tea with your breakfast. Breakfast was 6-9 even on the weekend. We were eating and a man and his son came down and it was almost 9. The front desk person was also responsible to cleaning up the dining area. The man was making the son a waffle and the guy was taking things off the counter and putting them away and not even asking if they needed or wanted anything. We thought that was very rude. We come to Thibodaux at least once a year at various times during the year and will be back again soon. We will be staying someplace else next trip.

I always enjoy staying here. My fav is the breakfast served. Simple but oh so appreciated. Coffee always available. Staff quickly addressed any request or need I had.

I HAVE NEVER HAD THAT HAPPEN IN ALL MY TRAVELS. EITHER THE ROOM IS READY OR NOT WHEN YOU GET THERE. BREAKFAST WAS VERY MINIMAL. WAFFLES, FRUIT, CEREAL AND CEREAL BARS. IF I EVER FIND MYSELF THERE AGAIN I WOULD NOT USE THAT HOTEL

Front desk was professional, attentive, polite and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We'll definetly stay again.

The air in the lobby was out. We arrived 25 minutes before check in and they wanted to charge us $20 for early check in. When we came back to check in there was a line and the lobby had no air so we were all sweating!!!!

Staff was very rude it is not as advertised. Don't waste your time and money and be stranded because you have late check in and it's too late to find something else once you see how disgusting it is

The stay was great besides the breakfast changed. They no longer provide a protein with breakfast just waffles and fruit that was very disappointing considering that they use to have a full breakfast. Other than that my say was awesome. They cleaned the room each day, the front desk clerks where very friendly and eager to assist, bed was comfortable, the noise was non existent which it may have been due to my days where during the week. But if you are in the area it’s a good place to stay and although the breakfast lacks their are places close by such as Starbucks, Ihop ( for the time being) McDonald’s, chick fil La , Waffle House , huddle house and more places also Walmart is across the street . If you are wanting a cost efficient place to stay with good quality bedding and cleanliness the Days inn is definitely it!

Great location with easy access to restaurants and shopping. Quiet and clean. Breakfast was limited.

We initially made the mistake of staying at Carmel Inn and Suites. Quickly saw the condition and choose to stay here instead. Great staff and super clean. Breakfast was a bit limited but still good.

Room was comfortable and quiet. Only negative is the breakfast or lack of choices. Waffles, cereal, and oranges, thats it.

Beds were comfortable. It was very quiet. Only complaint is that there was no butter for the waffles so I did not get breakfast.

I checked out one day early due to false advertising. They advertise continental breakfast and only had coffee and waffles, this does not constitute a breakfast. The hotel had a musty odor and the room had a terrible odor that would not go away. The sprinkler system in the ceiling had tape covering an enlarged hole. However, they did have very pleasant front desk staff.

Everything was good. I would like to see a better breakfast variety though.
