We had a very good experience. The front desk staff was very helpful. Unfortunately, the computer at the business center was not working and we needed to complete some remote work. Also, the fitness center, which we were planning on using for most of Saturday, was out of service.

The entrance carpet was dirty. The room provided had an air conditioner leak and the bathroom floor was water covered. We were given another room. The furniture in the rooms were outdated and soiled. The sheets were clean and we were ok for the nights we were there. Trash outside of hotel was full and potholes in the parking lot needed navigating. The flower planters were weed filled.

Several times in and out of the property I noticed that the front desk was left un-manned. So if they needed to go to the rest room etc. there was no one there. My television would not turn on and the front desk guy came up to fix it which made me wonder who was down there. Now I know…. No one. The front desk gentleman was very very nice and courteous. Always pleasant and answering questions and assisting. Very hospitable. The light in my room was constantly flickering, so I had to turn it off. The mold in the bathroom around the soap dish was repulsive. The grout on the floor was filthy. Three of the six lights in the elevator were not working. Most annoying was the overwhelming cloying smell of smoke in my room after advertising a non- smoking room. It was very very bad. As a non-smoker it bothered me greatly. The lady at the desk told me I could not get a receipt after checking out because I booked with Expedia. Overall, I gave it three stars because the hot water worked, the toilet worked and the bed was semi comfortable. Also, the breakfast was somewhat ok. The hot water for tea and the bagels were ok.

This property was dingy and run down. The parking lot had several large potholes. The hotel staff were not friendly. The rooms smelled like someone had recently been smoking. The gym smelled dank and the water dispenser didn’t work. I would not recommend this LaQuinta to anyone.

Staff were friendly but not super engaging. Breakfast area is very clean and staff was ensuring everyone had everything. Hotel is outdated and could use a make over. Parking lot has a ton of potholes and hotel is behind other hotels. Area is just okay but definitely run down. Room was clean except floors could use a swifter wet mop. Air conditioner turned on and off the entire night. If you’re a light sleeper, this will be a huge problem. Had to run back to my car once or twice in the evening, no staff at desk which I thought was strange. We stayed one night for a baseball tournament and while the stay was fine I think we’d go somewhere else in a better location.

First my room didn't have a smoke detector, I noticed in the middle of our stay. Second the "gym" smelled terrible like the carpeted floor hadn't been cleaned in years. Someone left a water bottle, and no one went in to clean it up and the filtered water had no water.

The parking area is covered with litter. The guests are obviously uncaring and the area needs a good cleaning and continued maintenance. The inside is dated but relatively clean. I would stay again because pets are allowed and it is well located for my needs.

No greeting when we arrived. Tiny, dirty elevator. Room was very strange-next to elevators, so very loud, but also shaped like large L. Dust bunnies living in harmony under beds. Very uncomfortable mattresses and pillows, foam maybe? Threadbare towels and no soap. Whole room looked knocked about, stained and dirty. Coffee maker not clean at all. All ice & vending machines out of order. So disappointing as have stayed with this chain before and it was always very clean & enjoyable. Also dog area really nasty.

We always check beds for signs of bedbugs or any other infestation before we settle into any hotel room. When we pulled back the sheets and mattress covers, we found very large and widespread red staining in the folds of the pillow-top mattresses, which is a strong indicator that this bed has either a previous or current bedbug infestation (the red stains come from bed bug feces, blood from bites, and the bugs themselves if squashed). We immediately requested a new room, and when we went into the new room, we did the same inspection and found the same, in fact worse. We contacted hotels.com and they helped us negotiate a refund. We left and stayed at a trusted higher end hotel brand instead. To be clear, we didn't ever see any ACTIVE infestation here, just signs of previous infestations, but it's clear that it has been widespread in the past, spanning the entire hotel, and the mattresses have not been changed out. They are well wrapped. You probably won't have a problem. But we were grossed out enough that we decided to leave and make other plans. La Quinta gave us no grief and no hassle about cancelling our reservation. They were kind and apologetic.

Roaches ran back in the wall when I turned the lights on. Black mold all over the ceiling in the bathroom. Entire room gave off bed bug sanctuary with the roaches running around on the walls. For the price pest issues shouldn’t be an issue.

The room is clean. The location is convenient. The breakfast is basic but adequate. I do wish they could offer danish or other bakery besides plain bread and bagel. Room was clean and spacious. A little worn but good value for money. Staff very pleasant. Breakfast was good - have had better but eating area was lovely. No tub stopper if you have kids to bath. In Behind Quality Inns which was a little bit odd but okay once we found it.

La Quinta was clean and quiet. It's in what feels like a business park, is clustered with 3 or 4 other hotels, and tucked around back, so it felt a little sketch pulling in, but once I got inside my concerns were alleviated. Staff greeted me despite arriving around midnight and were friendly and helpful. My room was clean. The hotel was clean. The hotel was quiet. I was just stopping for a night on my way through town and it was as enjoyable an experience as I could have asked for based on my needs. I would definitely stay here again.

The first room we were given was occupied. Then the clerk tried to argue with me it wasn't. The room we got was clean but run down. Edges of the coffee table busted up. Door to get to fridge busted up around handle. The hallway stank especially near the elevator.

The Front desk employee wasn’t there when we checked in. 4 other guest had to wait for him to appear for 20 minutes. Then we he did, he wasn’t apologetic.
The Front desk employee wasn’t there when we checked in. 4 other guest had to wait for him to appear for 20 minutes. Then we he did, he wasn’t apologetic.

Not sure where to start but its been a horrible experience. The worst staff i have ever had to deal with. This old woman at the front desk is one of the rudest people i have ever met. She is Nasty, openly and very quickly ready to threaten you if you dont want room service or want the nasty staff in your room to clean. Its just been a horrible stay. We were also put next to someone who literally had been screaming at the top of her lungs at her kids every single day. We reported the abuse to the front desk and they literally dont care at all. Was told they would do nothing about it. Apparently money is more important than their customer's satisfaction. Overall this has been a nightmare. My advice is dont stay at this hotel.

I could hear conversations and yelling from all sides of my room. The sound insulation is very poor. I asked to change my room, but they refused. It’s now 5 a.m., and I have left the hotel. I can’t stay there any longer. I’m requesting a refund.

Rooms were very clean, and service was great. However, the hotel seems to be in a sketchy area, and there were lots of people hanging around the parking lot.

The parking area is covered with litter. The guests are obviously uncaring and the area needs a good cleaning and continued maintenance. The inside is dated but relatively clean. I would stay again because pets are allowed and it is well located for my needs.

Pleasantly surprised. Spacious rooms and friendly staff. The negative was the comforter for the sofa bed appeared to have been used for a paint cover. Spots of green blue and red that didn't come out in the laundry. Someone had scorched the iron and it had black flakes that came off. I saw it ahead of time and knew to iron my clothes on the wrong side. Affordable and I would definitely stay again. A little dated where minimal upgrade would be beneficial. Shout out to housekeeping. I disinfected the headboard as I do anywhere, then took their white hand towel to wipe it down. Towel was Mr. Clean white. I was positively shocked. Passed the white glove test. Breakfast was good, too far north for grits I guess. But did have hot waffles sausage eggs juice coffee and yogurt. Very filling. The front guest guy was so nice, since I didn't arrive until midnight, he said you can have a late check out and I didn't even ask. Had it been a leisure trip I would have gladly taken him up on his kind offer. Unfortunately I had to be at a funeral by noon the next day and had to check out on time. Who offers to be nice these days. Awesome

I have stayed here several times. For my purpose it was okay. But I stayed there for 4 days and my room was not cleaned and I did not receive fresh towels nor toiletries. However the worse part of this particular trip is there were ants at the breakfast bar 2 days in a row. l can over look a lot of things but not ants crawling around my food.

Very convenient to get to. Eating options within walking distance. Room was surprisingly large, with fridge and microwave. Eggs, sausage and french toast were a pleasant surprise.

Decent place to stay. Rooms were clean with nice amenities. Super quiet at night, no traffic noise at all. Breakfast was also decent: eggs, sausage, pancakes, waffles, cereal, juices, coffee, bagels and toast. Certainly, a good value for your money!

The bed was horrible, the shower head was broken actually fell off. I had to fix it to use it. The breakfast was gross. They didn’t have the waffle iron even turned on. I had to wait. They have powdered scrambled eggs, nasty stuff. So I ended up having to eat French toast, sticks, which were so hard you couldn’t cut them because they were laying on the bottom of the serving pan where they were from yesterday who knows. Very disappointed with the stay there most likely won’t go back to La Quinta again.

The room was large, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was OK. We ate scrambled eggs and sausages. The issues were that the hotel was old and not updated to today's standards. For example, there were sufficient wall outlets, but no charging ports for devices such as cell phones. This is expected in hotel rooms today. The TV set was inoperative, the refrigerator wasn't cold enough, and the lavatory sink was cracked. The decor was too dark for our tastes. Coffee was provided at breakfast, but there were no lids for the cups for taking in the car after checkout.

I won't be staying here again. Briefly after checking into my room I notice the the toilet was leaking water all over the floor. I went to the front desk to alert them but I was told the issue would have to wait till the next day. He informed me that all the rooms were booked for the night just put some towels on the floor. The next day the leak was fix however the dirty wet towels remained on the floor housekeeping didn't come in to clean up or bring clean towels.

The room in the bed itself for clean and nice the bathroom door did have a hole in it almost looks like someone punched it. Check in and check out word easy and stuff was friendly. The only unsettling part of the stay would have to be the elevator that struggle to make it to the second floor and was making some very odd noises and motions.
