Check in was easy peasy. The rooms were clean and they had a heated pool. Breakfast a continental breakfast. Pricing was extremely reasonable. We were very happy with our choice of this motel.

The property is falling apart. The "Lodge" is musty smelling and in poor repair. The "heated" pool was being filled with a gareden hose and also smelled musty and old. Our room had smears of I do not know waht on the walls. Mirrora and microwave were dirty. Wifi did not work. Parking lot was noisy all night.... mind you this is our in the middle of nowhere. We tried to cancel our second night and were told we couldn't. $380 for 2 nights. We only stayed one and will never stay again. This dive motel is ill representes on Travelocity.

I really love this place. The owner remembered me from our stay last year. I love the lodge with the pool table. I love exploring the river out back with my boys! The Mountain View’s are gorgeous! Only negative for us is that the pool still isn’t in working condition. I hope to make this a yearly trip with my boys!

The pool is closed, which was not advertised. The Lodge was boring because the fireplace was boarded up and the pool table required quarters to play. There was no machine for turned bills into quarters. We were so disappointed we canceled early, not wanting to stay a second night.

The air conditioner and refrigerator were off when we arrived in 90 degree weather. Were told Oops, some turned off the switch at the door that controls those outlets, unmarked. Bed was uncomfortable. Curtains available covered the air conditioner but blides were not available on a while facing east. No ice available in their machines.

Positives: free parking, check-in was quick and easy. The room was clean, and the area was really quiet. The shower had good water pressure, and the room was nicely lit. Room has a mini-fridge and coffee maker. There’s a nice heated pool (didn’t use it). Areas that could be improved: breakfast was a bit disappointing; soiled bed cover; room didn’t have a full-body mirror; shower was quite small, felt a bit cramped; far from any walkable restaurants, had to drive out to grab some dinner.

The pool is closed because the “heater” is broken but when we looked in the pool room the liner is falling off and it doesn’t look like it has been used in years. There are no games in the “game room” except a coin operated pool table. The room was not as pictured on the website. The room had a stand shower not a shower tub as pictured. The bed sheets had a blood “stain” on the fitted sheet…. Lord I hope it was a stain. Strange stains on the curtains. The contents breakfast was gross. Stale muffins. We didn’t even bother trying anything else. It was sub par at best and we won’t be going back

Nice, clean, quiet, no frills, motel. Has an indoor pool, continental breakfast, and friendly staff. The views were spectacular. We are an active outdoorsy couple so all we needed was a clean room and a comfortable bed and they far exceeded that.

The sink didn't drain well. The floor had red stains on it. Fingernail clippings were on the floor. Bathroom floor was sticky. I couldn't stand the thought of taking a shower. Room was not bright. I couldn't understand much of what the receptionist was saying.

The wifi did not work even after contacting staff. There was a whole bag of leftover trash under the sink and dirty hand towels when we checked in. Breakfast was okay but there were not a lot of options. Though the room was dark and the interior looked nice.

Room felt grimy with nasty looking stains and spills on curtains and walls. Room smelled strong of sweet gas station coffee during the whole night; I assume one of the spills… Furniture completely worn down. Sink had been moved out of bathroom and into bedroom area where there was little to no light. Disconnected water and drain pipes still being openly visible in bathroom. Place needs major overhaul and a thorough deep cleaning.

Of the 11 hotels we stayed in on our tour of New England, this was the worst. The property looks nice from the pictures on the outside. Outside of the property has been paid the proper attention, it's when you open the door to your room you discover that upgrades and attention are needed. Room and especially the bathroom are small. See pics. Spiders and cobwebs in the corners. Mold on the bathroom ceiling. Cigarette burns on the linoleum bathroom floor. Phonebooth shower. No flat space in the bathroom. Air conditioning barely adequate. Breakfast was standard continental. Proprietor does not like his job, and it shows.

The property is poorly kept. Paont is peeling off everything. Flooring is coming up at the lodge. The paint in the room ia peeling, the floor was dirty, we found two dirty towels, the mattress xocer was dirty, the shower was dirty. There is no actual breakfast. There is BLACK MOLD in the lodge in the ceiling. I actually felt gross staying there. I have stayed at a lot of hotels, motels and lodges. I took lots of pictures.

The room was adequate, nothing special. It was clean but was well used. Furniture and walls were banged up. Bed was comfortable. Had to call them to check in, even though i had given a specific time as requested. Wifi didnt work in room. No cell phone service.

This place is ridiculously overpriced for a one star establishment..rooms are small, old, and poorly put together. the no-choice bright LED lighting is awful, and to boot my TV remote didn't work. walls are paper thin and you can hear a pin drop next door. spend your $ elsewhere.

The Wi-Fi definitely did not work. The seat on the toilet bowl was in need of repair. Also, we put the sign out on the door requesting cleaning service and it never got done but then we discovered the reason was, according to the employee, someone had removed the sign from our door and thrown it onto the ground nearby. Also the room tiny tiny tiny little room the whole place was very tiny but it's in the middle of gorgeous area so that's why they charge so much money with this miniscule room.

We got there and everything was good. We wasn’t happy when the other people started blasting their music which is the motel’s fault. The room was clean but definitely needs a lot of updating. The shower is tiny, I’m not a real thin person but not huge either but it took everything I had to turn around in the shower without coming out of it. The bed was hard, which some people like that. And it was a bit musky smelling, could be the age of the place. But the guy at the counter was very nice. We didn’t eat breakfast there.

Needed an inexpensive stay that was close to my day trip to Flume Gorge. This fit the bill. Room was clean but dated. Bed was comfortable. Internet was practically non-existent. Breakfast was unremarkable. Checking in and out was easy. Bethlehem was close by so dining options weren’t far way. If stay here again if a good night’s sleep is all I needed

This hotel is better than sleeping in the car. Barely. It was old and worn. The WiFi was terrible. The lamps in the room didn’t work. Luckily my wife was not with my son and I, or she would have refused to stay here. The desk person was never available for assistance. Do not stay here unless your only other option is sleeping in car or on cardboard under a bridge.

Front desk person was rude and not helpful. Room was not real clean. Bath area flooring tore up and dirty. Breakfast was a joke, a nothing!! Supposedly deluxe rooms were we stayed in awhile renting 30 rooms over 10 day trip.

Property was barely kept up. Furniture looked like left over estate sales. Check out was at 10 and when asked if we could check out at 11 they absolutely refused. At times there was no one at the office. The entry way to the room was slushy and icy and had no salt.

Stonybrook is a classic roadside motel. I'm not sure how long it's been around, but it's in decent shape. Sure, it could use some paint and a refresh on furnishings, but I found it clean and comfortable enough in a quiet and attractive setting. The only disappointment was the breakfast, which was pretty lame. The coffee was terrible. Still, I'd return.

We were greeted warmly by one of the owners in this family run motel. They are new owners who have big plans for this very well located establishment. Our room was very clean and comfortable and suited our needs. Highly recommend.

Such a cute little place and staff was so accommodating. Couldn’t find a better spot for the price. So much to do on the grounds and the surrounding area.

Nice, clean, quiet, no frills, motel. Has an indoor pool, continental breakfast, and friendly staff. The views were spectacular. We are an active outdoorsy couple so all we needed was a clean room and a comfortable bed and they far exceeded that.

The front desk staff was very earnest and willing to help. Fantastic location if you are looking to hike Franconia ridge and are looking to get an early start. Less then a 10 minute drive to old bridal path parking lot. Rooms are small but have a small fridge, excellent air conditioning system and desk and WiFi that easily supported telework. Can’t beat the accommodations with their location and price.

Positives: free parking, check-in was quick and easy. The room was clean, and the area was really quiet. The shower had good water pressure, and the room was nicely lit. Room has a mini-fridge and coffee maker. There’s a nice heated pool (didn’t use it). Areas that could be improved: breakfast was a bit disappointing; soiled bed cover; room didn’t have a full-body mirror; shower was quite small, felt a bit cramped; far from any walkable restaurants, had to drive out to grab some dinner.

Older hotel that was clean and well maintained. Gopi, our host, was friendly and helpful. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the bedding was clean and soft. Plenty of hot shower water too. As noted by others, the continental breakfast is minimal, the “baked” goods looked old and I don’t recommend the coffee. Very watery and stale tasting. Fresh fruit of bananas, apples and mandarin oranges was a nice touch, though. Careful as you step up to the lodge for breakfast as there are large loose tiles. I didn’t notice poor quality WiFi as I didn’t use theirs. Nice location and very nice views of the creek behind the hotel.

Was a drive by visit . Was late entering. Room was clean. Room: toliet handle was broken so for three guest you had to be sure handle caught or constant draining occurred. Was three in room and not enough bath essentials:wash cloths. Continental breakfast: started at 7am. We were there at 7am: Drink: coffee or milk. Coffee drinker in group was stating it was terrible and threw it out….quite unlikely for her to do! Other two : non coffee or milk drinkers-and juice machine broken. Otherwise white bread or one flavor bagel—not a plain one. Felt choices for breakfast could have been better if charging includes a breakfast I wouldn’t eat!

It's a fine line between having a place that is a classic vs dated. This one unfortunately feels somewhat more on the dated side. We had some problem with noisy (and weed smoking) neighbors, but the front desk did get them to quiet down after we called a 2nd time. There were some nice things, such as the surprising availability of an indoor pool. Breakfast was in a word, pathetic. Overall it was ok, but I'd say there are better options abailable in the area.

This was a great little place. My only recommendation would be to add instant oatmeal or even a few microwaveable items to the breakfast choices.

There was mold in the bathroom, exposed wiring in the vanity, and the floor tiles looked like they had not been replaced since Nixon was president. On the second day, housekeeping knocked once then busted into the room while I was asleep while before checkout which is an unreasonable 10am.

We had a wonderful stay the rooms were very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful it's a very safe area and the attractions are within minutes from the hotel we're very satisfied with our stay and the price was very affordable it's a great place to bring your family and enjoy there facilities and enjoy a continental breakfast in the morning especially nowadays not to many places offer you nothing for breakfast,we highly recommend you give them a try very good people
