Excellent hotel. The whole structure has been designed so that you can stay in the best conditions. 2 swimming pools, 1 spa, 3 bars, all inclusive service and many more. The staff is perfect. Free access on a private beach. 10/10

I liked the nightly music and daily DJ. I liked the proximity to the beach. I DUD NOT LIKE THAT YOU COUKD NOT TAKE YOUR DRINKS TO THE BEACH. SERVERS RARELY CAME ON THE BEACH TO TAKE ORDSRS.

The Ac was leaking in the bedroom and general cafe area. The water refill station on my floor stopped working. Liquor/drink mixes seemed limited. Long wait time for check-in. Not enough treadmills in gym area and the size of the gym was quite small and 2 treadmills were jot working out of a total of 3 treadmills

This is a very nice hotel. But they are not a 4-star hotel. They are a very nice 3-star hotel. The reason why they are not 4 stars is because they lack the following: • 24-hour room service – food is not available 24/7 • Food & drink service at the beach • More options at the buffet • Better movie channels/Netflix/Hulu • No ice machines. No ice bucket in the rooms. • No place to put your clothes in the room (no dressers). No place to hang your towels (not enough hooks). My only complaint was we weren’t able to use the pool because it stayed dirty our entire trip. The water was cloudy/murky and there were large clumps of hair floating around. But the beach is beautiful and has nice snorkeling. Also, it could use some updating. You can tell the building is old. Other than that, it’s a really nice hotel. Clean. Service is excellent!! The food is good! They have top shelf liquor and the drinks are good. Not watered down like at most hotels. It’s located about 20 minutes from the airport but far enough where you don’t hear the planes coming and going. Lots of taxis right outside the hotel. But most stuff is walking distance. There are restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and a marijuana dispensary right down the street where you can buy weed, smoke, eat, drink, dance, etc. This property has nice smoking areas where can smoke a joint or a blunt which was really nice! We enjoyed ourselves as well as our stay at this hotel. The service is definitely 4 stars!!

This was an excellent experience. The staff was super friendly, the pool was clean and beautiful, the beach was amazing and the views from the rooms were remarkable. Andre at the front desk was very helpful and Ricardo was the best waiter!! Food was excellent. My only complaint was that drinks offered for beach service were limited. You can get anything you want at the bar by the pool, but not on the beach. Highly recommend Jamaica in general and SHotel. Wonderful place.

The beach is exceptional, the rooftop pool is one of the best. The rooms are very clean and it’s an eco friendly hotel! Additionally: Love the amazing staff, they are all so friendly and helpful. I would like to especially thank Zaira and Rashai for all their assistance. The food is amazing and esp the steak and Ravioli at Italian restaurant. The location is perfect. It’s only a 20-30 walk into town or $150 Jamaican dollars (less than $2 USD) 5-10 mins to the best clubs in mobay. Starbucks is 2 mins away. And there is a bank machine right beside Starbucks with no line ups and dispenses USD as well as Jamaican $$.

CHECK IN PROCESS: Room wasn’t ready on time. Staff said they would call my phone when it was ready. They did not call and Marion, the manager, made excuses as to why they weren’t ready instead of accepting that this was a rough check in Many others had this issue; be prepared for this! FOOD: Reservation restaurants were good–nice presentation and food was tasty and cooked well. The cafe had great lattes, ice cream, key lime pie, cookies Pool grill had great lunch food, especially the snapper sandwich on coco bread. Important to note: we made our reservations before we arrived, but the reservations were completed incorrectly. ROOMS: Ocean front room was huge and amazing! Mini King rooms were adequate–much smaller and darker with no view and the street noise could be a bit much. HOTEL STATUS: After we booked this as adults only, the hotel changed to family friendly There were obnoxious children running and yelling in restaurants, throwing cups of sand in the pool, and urinating in the pool–NOT PLEASANT! We weren’t notified of this change–NOT ACCEPTABLE! Beautiful hotel with stunning room amenities. We were upgraded to a cabana suite and it was wonderful. Having stayed at many all-inclusive resorts over the years, the S Hotel Montego Bay had a very different feel. We would categorize it as an urban retreat as it is much smaller in scale that most all-inclusives. The hotel is smartly decorated with modern design and art choices. Our disappointment was directly related to its size- no dedicated nightly entertainment space- with bad weather bands were moved into the lobby with no space to really dance. No real activities or water sports other than aqua aerobics. We did eat at the two ala-carte restaurants and were satisfied. The lunch and breakfast buffet were lackluster at best, but the grill by the pool sufficed for lunch. All in all pleasant stay at a beautiful property.

O único porém foi que, ao remover a cama do lugar para anexar a outra do quarto, descobrimos uma sujeira acumulada. Tirando isso, tudo perfeito. Quarto grande e confortável, comida de boa qualidade ( não excelente, mas essa é a regra em resorts all inclusive). Piscina linda e praia, quase privativa do hotel, muito boa. Localização excelente, perto de lojas, bares etc.
O único porém foi que, ao remover a cama do lugar para anexar a outra do quarto, descobrimos uma sujeira acumulada. Tirando isso, tudo perfeito. Quarto grande e confortável, comida de boa qualidade ( não excelente, mas essa é a regra em resorts all inclusive). Piscina linda e praia, quase privativa do hotel, muito boa. Localização excelente, perto de lojas, bares etc.

Staff is great! The beach and the views are great. Need to have more towels and beach chair covers, it seemed to be an issue every day at the beach. Drink “all inclusive” 3 options on the beach is not good, I understand not taking orders of different drinks on the beach, but we should be allowed to bring them on the beach if we got them at the bar. The room was not very clean. And daily room service wasn’t always done. Food options for breakfast weren’t great. Jamaica has so many fresh fruit, they barely had fruit and was dry. The food options at the restaurants weren’t different from the buffet, not worth waiting for availability.

Vacationed in Jamaica in May and the S hotel is absolutely amazing! The decor was cultured throughout the hotel and felt like a museum within. The food was delicious, the staff was professional and courteous, and the room was clean and modern. The property has its own access to the beach and lounge chairs can be reserved for day. The pool is large and has plenty of cabanas and lounge chairs. Overall this hotel is amazing and I will definitely book with them again!

Small Great hotel in a good area. Only downside, the beds were extremely hard!! Felt like i was sleep on the floor. There weren’t many options for dinner but good was great and walkable to other restaurants outside. Great hotel if you want to get away and still close to the action.

We stayed 7/31-8/7 in a balcony ocean view suite to celebrate my 40th birthday!!! We had an amazing time and the resort itself is beautiful, just 15 min drive from the airport and located right on the beach to walk to without worries. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Our absolute favorites include: Oral Rashel Darel Delroy hands down the bestest!!!! 😊 Not one time did we feel unsafe as we walked down the strip to shop and even went to Lounge 2727. Highly recommend this resort and again we had an amazing time!! We will be back Jamaica!! One Love❤️

CHECK IN PROCESS: Room wasn’t ready on time. Staff said they would call my phone when it was ready. They did not call and Marion, the manager, made excuses as to why they weren’t ready instead of accepting that this was a rough check in Many others had this issue; be prepared for this! FOOD: Reservation restaurants were good–nice presentation and food was tasty and cooked well. The cafe had great lattes, ice cream, key lime pie, cookies Pool grill had great lunch food, especially the snapper sandwich on coco bread. Important to note: we made our reservations before we arrived, but the reservations were completed incorrectly. ROOMS: Ocean front room was huge and amazing! Mini King rooms were adequate–much smaller and darker with no view and the street noise could be a bit much. HOTEL STATUS: After we booked this as adults only, the hotel changed to family friendly There were obnoxious children running and yelling in restaurants, throwing cups of sand in the pool, and urinating in the pool–NOT PLEASANT! We weren’t notified of this change–NOT ACCEPTABLE! POOL: Cloudy with a film on it; didn’t seem clean TOWEL SERVICE: Could only get 1 towel with a towel card Strange stains on towels Towels were very thick and felt soggy all day long–never dried STAFF: Most staff were outstanding and super attentive Special shout outs to the main manager and concierge Front desk was NOT helpful BEACH: Not allowed to use floats at beach even though that wasn’t listed anywhere in the rules.

Overall very nice. Didn't really see the value of the Sky option vs. a cabana on the main floor. Food was very good overall. Got woken up several times at night due to motorcycles tearing down the street at 5am. Wished the music didn't go all the time till 10PM. Smallish beach but lovely bay.

This place was perfect! The style and decor was really special. The property was the prefect size with plenty of fun areas to explore but easy to make quick trips back to the room. Our room had a gorgeous giant spa bathroom which was so clean and luxurious and with a stunning view. I had a wonderful massage in the spa by the way. The food was delicious and we loved the buffet variety. We enjoyed all the staff and especially loved the treatment when checking in. Felt such a warm and friendly welcome. The activities in the afternoons were fun and we really looked forward to them. The beach and service there was my absolute favorite. We snorkeled right off the shore and were amazed at the shells and soft clean pebble-like white sand. This place was paradise in the prefect location and we will go back to S Hotel for sure.

Super accommodating staff. Everybody from the reception, servers, bartenders, concierge, pool and beach staff all independently made us feel soo welcome. The food at the on site restaurants is amazing, do not pass up trying them. The buffet food is amazing too.

The S hotel was amazing. The staff was plenty, treated you like family. The hotel was clean and made you feel like you were in a luxury 5 star. My husband and I were there during hurricane Melissa and they made sure our safety was first. The S hotel was one of the few hotels that still had power, cooked food and water. Despite what Jamaica was going through, the S hotel made sure all guest was taken cared of with the upmost hospitality and we are very grateful. If you are looking for relaxed vibes with an upscale feel this is your hotel. I will be back for my do over!!!

I liked the property, however I was disappointed in the follow up from the staff. I spoke to four different people regarding a room upgrade due to the property no longer being an adult only resort. I was told by each person that I spoke to that they would speak to the manager and get back to me. I never received any type of communication back from the manager which was very disappointing. There was also a day when we returned to our room after room service cleaned our room and noticed that they had only given us one big towel mind you there were two people in the room.

All I can say about this place is absolutely phenomenal! From the moment you check in till you leave, the staff are so friendly and so helpful, this has now become my go to spot while in Montego Bay. Beautiful, clean hotel. We ate at all the restaurants and each one was better than the other. Even the buffet restaurant was delish! Two pools, numerous bars, entertainment all day. I was very impressed with everything about this place and highly recommend it. And only 5 minutes from the airport!!

Loved my stay at the S Hotel, the location is chef's kiss. Youre in the middle of everything, you have access to the beach, you can walk to Lounge 27/27, Pier 1, and Margaritaville. There are a few restaurant options on the property. You have make reservations in advance. The staff was amazing, security was great. If you are interested in excursions, there's an activity/excursion deak. There are pool side activities everyday i.e. water aerobic and other nightly events in the lobby. Also, food options and unlimited drink selections available. My only criticism with this hotel is the outside. A face lift, and a few updates would help increase the aesthetic of the hotel.

The beach is exceptional, the rooftop pool is one of the best. The rooms are very clean and it’s an eco friendly hotel! Additionally: Love the amazing staff, they are all so friendly and helpful. I would like to especially thank Zaira and Rashai for all their assistance. The food is amazing and esp the steak and Ravioli at Italian restaurant. The location is perfect. It’s only a 20-30 walk into town or $150 Jamaican dollars (less than $2 USD) 5-10 mins to the best clubs in mobay. Starbucks is 2 mins away. And there is a bank machine right beside Starbucks with no line ups and dispenses USD as well as Jamaican $$.

There were panhandlers outside the resort entrance, which made coming and going a little uncomfortable. It didn’t feel unsafe, but it definitely took away from the overall resort experience. I wish the property managed that area a bit better for guests.

This property is wonderful. I’ve traveled a lot and I would recommend this place without hesitation. The room was large, the beach was absolutely amazing and the food in the restaurants was delicious. All the staff were superb and Marion and Phillipa deserve a special shout out! Definitely stay here, it’s also super close to the airport. The one thing that could improve is the food on the buffet it wasn’t the best and it stayed the same for lunch each day. The food in the restaurants (also included) was really great!

Good hotel overall, close to the airport. We went all inclusive as wanted to just chill out for a few days. Annoyingly their restaurants got booked up days in advance so we were only able to eat in one of the non-buffet restaurants on our last (4th night) It was not a particularly relaxing break as the music is constant and our room, although lovely was above the smoking area so it was quite noisy. The staff were friendly and helpful and the decor in the hotel is lovely. We did enjoy it but were glad we didn’t book for longer

Super accommodating staff. Everybody from the reception, servers, bartenders, concierge, pool and beach staff all independently made us feel soo welcome. The food at the on site restaurants is amazing, do not pass up trying them. The buffet food is amazing too.

Food options were very limited. the buffet needs to be expanded. The seafood restaurant needs to offer more seafood options and better portion size, and work on there service. The Italian and Jamaican restaurant, they were both very good, great service, portions were good, but a very few options of Italian food and Jamaican foods. But I must reiterate, The Italian and Jamaican restaurants the food was great.

Staff is great! The beach and the views are great. Need to have more towels and beach chair covers, it seemed to be an issue every day at the beach. Drink “all inclusive” 3 options on the beach is not good, I understand not taking orders of different drinks on the beach, but we should be allowed to bring them on the beach if we got them at the bar. The room was not very clean. And daily room service wasn’t always done. Food options for breakfast weren’t great. Jamaica has so many fresh fruit, they barely had fruit and was dry. The food options at the restaurants weren’t different from the buffet, not worth waiting for availability.

The property was well maintained, it was quiet and the staff was very accommodating. We were there for a total of 6 days. The Restaurant are very good. The only issue we had was that every day at the buffet the same thing was served chicken every day in every way as much as you pay for this resort you should be able to eat well every day. The restaurants are packed and by reservations only.. If you have to eat at the buffet it should be a little better variety. Other than that this Hotel is the Chef’s Kiss

Beautiful in every way. I had multiple stays booked that’s why I’m reviewing twice. I have stayed at all the luxury resorts in Jamaica and I keep returning to the S hotel for a reason. It’s small enough to feel intimate whilst still giving you choices of pools bars & restaurants. The location is fab and the staff are outstanding. The S hotel remains my favourite time & time again.

The S hotel is outstanding. I have stayed at pretty much all Jamaica’s 5 hotels / resorts. The S hotel has got it right in every way. The vibes. The mix of guests. The stunning rooms. The artwork. Location. All faultless The restaurants are superb but most of all the staff give you the biggest welcome. Marlon the GM is amazing. Nothing is ever too much to ask. The S hotel is my home from home.
