Great pools, plenty of sunbeds and towels. It was nice to have complimentary water in the room and water dispensers around the grounds too. The grounds and location were amazing. The staff cannot be faulted , especially at breakfast and around the pools where they were always on hand to help with umbrellas or supplying extra sunbeds. Can't fault anything, it was a wonderful experience.

Without doubt the best Hotel in Tenerife by a mile. The staff are friendly and nothing is an issue no matter what. The food options are great and the gardens spectacular. Different pools to choose from. Night entertainment is fun, location to shops and beach are perfect.

The property and staff were all 5 ⭐️. The choice of restaurants, spa, live entertainment (included), beach, shopping, the pools, AND an observatory on the grounds make this an excellent choice for couples, families with young children or teenagers, and “golden years” travelers. Highly recommended!

Review for Bahia del Duque Hotel We’ve just returned from another brilliant week at Bahia del Duque with my partner and our ten-year-old daughter. This place never fails to impress. Our first visit was back in 2016, with a group of five, including my stepson and stepdaughter. Even then, it stood out, but somehow it’s got even better. From the moment you step through the doors, you sense there’s something special about this place. It’s not just about the luxury—it’s the atmosphere, the attention to detail, and, most importantly, the people. The staff here are fantastic. They care about what they do, from the room service team to housekeeping and the management. You can see it in every smile, every greeting, every little extra touch. The traditional Canarian dress they wear adds a unique charm, giving the place a real sense of character. The food is superb. Each restaurant offers a different experience, but Kensei is the standout if you’re after a fine dining experience. It’s not just about the food, which is delicious, by the way; it’s the whole experience—thoughtfully crafted dishes that look as good as they taste. The spa is another gem. Two 90-minute massages, and you’re a new person—totally relaxed, completely rejuvenated. The atmosphere there is so calming, just what you need to unwind. And if you’re up for it, there’s always Padel—great fun and a nice way to keep active. This is a very special place, and worth every penny.

Beautiful hotel. Large, comfortable rooms and bathrooms, friendly staff, amazing salt water pools, beautiful gardens. I travel with a service dog, and had no issues. Lots of dining options. El Duque beach is clear water, safe to swim. Simply perfect overall.

We were initially given a room near noisy renovations having requested a quiet room. However this was quickly resolved. The hotel consists of a series of buildings descending a hill and overlooking the sea. The grounds are immaculate, beautiful and secure. It has a good choice of excellent restaurants. It is well away from the noisier resorts. It is clearly a high quality hotel.

The Bahía is quite a site! It’s huge and I would certainly suggest not going if you have mobility problems, although they run buggy shuttles on demand. It reminded me of Disney Land to be honest. We found it quite overwhelming on arrival. We found the hotel ok. The room was on the small side, but was spotlessly clean, and the sea view was at best a partial sea view. Still, not bad. There were multiple swimming pools and the grounds are lovely. Also, universally excellent staff! Always helpful and seemingly cheerful! They must be exhausted at the end of the day because Bahía seems to attract a lot of very ‘entitled’ types! Our main issue was with the dining options. A really good quality buffet would have been preferable for us. Instead, there are series of a la carte restaurants, which are ok, but it’s a bit much having to make sure you’ve booked in to be able to eat. We saw several people turned away. The Italian Trattoria was very good, Alesios was nice, and Upalupa improved over our 3 visits. But it was a pain to organise. Worse though was the breakfast arrangement. This was a Buffett, but never a pleasant experience. It was always heaving and felt chaotic and just not relaxing. The way the buffet was laid out didn’t to my mind work with the numbers of people trying to get to them. We did the bare minimum and left as quickly as we could. Usually queues to get in as well. We probably wouldn’t stay there again.

En revanche, les parties communes sont très propres. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour au Bahía del duque.

The biggest disappointment here was the room, 707, small and basic, typical of a 3 star offering. Certainly not how Expedia described it. Requested a change, called reception and was told the hotel was full and what did I expect them to do. Received an email at 3pm the next day saying another room was available and would be reserved until 5pm. I didn’t check my emails until the following morning as I was on holiday so no change was made. No message on the room phone, no note, no text. Very much a half hearted attempt to tick box the situation. Not the standard I normally receive in 5* hotels. Housekeeping was hit and miss, glasses just wiped, not changed. Breakfast was great as we went in early so we received good service. Had to join in the ‘towels on sunbeds before breakfast’ game which I haven’t had to for years. General staff around the property were polite and friendly. Overall the property is in good condition. My top tips would be to take good quality earplugs as the rooms are not soundproofed and book the most expensive room you can find as the standard rooms are too basic

Very poor cleaning and attention to any kind of detail, failure to follow up on delivering items to room, removal of personal items from room without permission, poor quality and badly cooked and flavourless food are only a few things that came to mind with the worst issues being shutting restaurants when guests were mid meal and failing to clean eg the pool area leaving guests to clean up soiled nappies left by inconsiderate guests by the poolside with other rubbish despite there being rubbish bins only 10 ft away! We will not be returning.

Bahia was excellent in all respects. If I have to give one feedback to the hotel that would be about its cats. I didn’t like the idea of freely roaming cats esp in dining areas and in the breakfast area. It doesn’t bode well esp as the rest of hotel is so hygienic.

Beautiful hotel. We were upgraded to a junior suite . Great location walking distance to local restaurants. Immaculately clean. Staff exceptional, from the welcome by reception ( Patrick ) to all other staff. A little dated in areas eg having to carry a safe key but all adds to the old school charm

Bahia del Duque is a lovely resort , myself and my daughter went for two weeks and were stressed from work /uni and came out smiling and just sad our holiday came to an end. All the staff is very nice and friendly and we felt secure and looked after . the boys/men in the bar and in the restaurant they are young positive and happy to get you anything you need. Club house and reception were very professional, responded in timely manner and very friendly. I have to say a big thank you to Jacobo , the hotel manager who helped us so much when my daughter almost fainted from heat exhaustion and a worrying side pain. He helped us go up in the room , called the doctor waited with us until all was fine he translated when the doctor came and even gave us his number so we can call him at any time in case of any emergency. Myself and my daughter were so grateful for all that he did!! In actual fact any time we wanted anything by a miracle he was just there resolving in an instant whatever we needed. I have to also thank the the staff tending the swimming pools and the bar team as they were always attentive and ensuring we have everything we needed . Room cleaning was spotless and you notice the attention to details. It was no pressure on when you make the room available for cleaning . Thank you to all the team at Bahia del Duque !!!

Vackert beläget i en stor subtropisk park och med direktaccess till havet. Mycket trevlig personal med utmärkt service! Standarden på rummen något daterad, skulle behöva en uppfräschning. Städningen ojämn, ibland lite slarvig med flera missar, andra dagar utmärkt. Flera restauranger på området, alla med överraskande bra mat, dock ganska dyr. Återvänder gärna till detta ställe!

Beautiful setting and overall a relaxing stay at Bahía del Duque. The pools are stunning, the staff incredibly friendly, and the resort grounds are lovely. However, the kids club could definitely be improved — it wasn’t very engaging — and the cleanliness of the rooms wasn’t quite up to 5-star standard. Beautiful setting and overall a relaxing stay at Bahía del Duque. The pools are stunning, the staff incredibly friendly, and the resort grounds are lovely. However, the kids club could definitely be improved — it wasn’t very engaging — and the cleanliness of the rooms wasn’t quite up to 5-star standard. The Bahía is quite a site! It’s huge and I would certainly suggest not going if you have mobility problems, although they run buggy shuttles on demand. It reminded me of Disney Land to be honest. We found it quite overwhelming on arrival. We found the hotel ok. The room was on the small side, but was spotlessly clean, and the sea view was at best a partial sea view. Still, not bad. There were multiple swimming pools and the grounds are lovely. Also, universally excellent staff! Always helpful and seemingly cheerful! They must be exhausted at the end of the day because Bahía seems to attract a lot of very ‘entitled’ types! Our main issue was with the dining options. A really good quality buffet would have been preferable for us. Instead, there are series of a la carte restaurants, which are ok, but it’s a bit much having to make sure you’ve booked in to be able to eat. We saw several people turned away. The Italian Trattoria was very good, Alesios was nice, and Upalupa improved over our 3 visits. But it was a pain to organise. Worse though was the breakfast arrangement. This was a Buffett, but never a pleasant experience. It was always heaving and felt chaotic and just not relaxing. The way the buffet was laid out didn’t to my mind work with the numbers of people trying to get to them. We did the bare minimum and left as quickly as we could. Usually queues to get in as well. We probably wouldn’t stay there again.

This was a Buffett, but never a pleasant experience. It was always heaving and felt chaotic and just not relaxing. The way the buffet was laid out didn’t to my mind work with the numbers of people trying to get to them. We did the bare minimum and left as quickly as we could. Usually queues to get in as well. We probably wouldn’t stay there again.

The biggest disappointment here was the room, 707, small and basic, typical of a 3 star offering. Certainly not how Expedia described it. Requested a change, called reception and was told the hotel was full and what did I expect them to do. Received an email at 3pm the next day saying another room was available and would be reserved until 5pm. I didn’t check my emails until the following morning as I was on holiday so no change was made. No message on the room phone, no note, no text. Very much a half hearted attempt to tick box the situation. Not the standard I normally receive in 5* hotels. Housekeeping was hit and miss, glasses just wiped, not changed. Breakfast was great as we went in early so we received good service. Had to join in the ‘towels on sunbeds before breakfast’ game which I haven’t had to for years. General staff around the property were polite and friendly. Overall the property is in good condition. Great location on the beach. Good selection of restaurants and good evening entertainment. Usual problem with sunbeds with the vast majority reserved by over enthusiastic people by 8.00am. Breakfast room far too busy, like a rugby scrum getting food. Need more than one breakfast restaurant. 5 star and people still thieving the food to take away! No waiter service around pool. Room was average, single beds a pain and garden view was blocked by a tree.

Beautiful hotel. We were upgraded to a junior suite . Great location walking distance to local restaurants. Immaculately clean. Staff exceptional, from the welcome by reception ( Patrick ) to all other staff. A little dated in areas eg having to carry a safe key but all adds to the old school charm

Beautiful hotel. Large, comfortable rooms and bathrooms, friendly staff, amazing salt water pools, beautiful gardens. I travel with a service dog, and had no issues. Lots of dining options. El Duque beach is clear water, safe to swim. Simply perfect overall.

Paid for garden view, got view of back of a building. Offered to move us twice but rooms weren’t really better. Construction adjacent to our room all day. Great staff and food, facilities also good but far too many scattered buildings which end up ruining a lot of views etc. Management were poor in their response. Far better hotels in the same price range.

Ein wirklich schönes Hotel. Zimmer sind offenbar sehr unterschiedlich, auch was die Größe angeht. Wir hatten offenbar ein kleines. Das Haus hat eher einen Ressortcharakter. Viele Familien. Die Restaurants sind ok. Der Service ist aufmerksam.

The staff go above and beyond to make your stay a memorable one. The Best hotel in the canary islands by a country mile. I’ve visited the hotel time and time again and it never fails to impress. Our 2nd stay at Bahia del Duque. Still a good hotel in a picturesque setting and enjoyable, particularly La Brasserie and Sua restaurants, but noticed fewer staff around - took longer to be served. Enjoyed our stay

Bahia del Duque is a lovely resort , myself and my daughter went for two weeks and were stressed from work /uni and came out smiling and just sad our holiday came to an end. All the staff is very nice and friendly and we felt secure and looked after . the boys/men in the bar and in the restaurant they are young positive and happy to get you anything you need. Club house and reception were very professional, responded in timely manner and very friendly. I have to say a big thank you to Jacobo , the hotel manager who helped us so much when my daughter almost fainted from heat exhaustion and a worrying side pain. He helped us go up in the room , called the doctor waited with us until all was fine he translated when the doctor came and even gave us his number so we can call him at any time in case of any emergency. Myself and my daughter were so grateful for all that he did!! In actual fact any time we wanted anything by a miracle he was just there resolving in an instant whatever we needed. I have to also thank the the staff tending the swimming pools and the bar team as they were always attentive and ensuring we have everything we needed . Room cleaning was spotless and you notice the attention to details. It was no pressure on when you make the room available for cleaning . Thank you to all the team at Bahia del Duque !!!

Wonderful stay for our 30th wedding anniversary. All The staff were great, always met you with a smile and eager to help with whatever you needed. I requested a room change to one that was closer to the central/ pool area and they were able to accommodate that by the next morning. They also were very helpful getting us a reservation on the terrace of La Trattoria ( for our anniversary) even though we asked only the day before. Spent 8 nights. All aspects of this stay were definitely 5 star. Definitely recommend this hotel

The hotel location is outstanding in the resort, and the grounds are beautiful and a good balance of sun and shade. The hotel itself rightly earns it's high reputation and we could not fault the quality of accommodation, food or service the entire 9 days we stayed. If we return to the resort, it will be our preferred hotel to return to.

Meget stort hotel … men ikke for stor på den gode måde. Venligt personale overalt. Fantastisk morgen mads restaurant/buffet. Smuk udsigt til havet. Gå afstand til Adeje - hyggelig by. Fornuftige priser. Vi kommer igen næste år.

Without doubt the best Hotel in Tenerife by a mile. The staff are friendly and nothing is an issue no matter what. The food options are great and the gardens spectacular. Different pools to choose from. Night entertainment is fun, location to shops and beach are perfect.

Wonderful hotel right on the nicest beach in Southern Tenerife. Beautiful pools, very attentive staff who were very polite and friendly and the hotel is located in the nicest part of Adeje with lots of quality restaurants and shops within easy walking distance along the beautiful sea promenade. Highly recommend a stay here.

Really nice hotel. Staff amazing and location superb. You can walk out onto the beach. Would definitely recommend the hotel but make sure you have some trousers with you as gents can’t eat at the restaurants without them. Very nice stay and would definitely go again.

We were initially given a room near noisy renovations having requested a quiet room. However this was quickly resolved. The hotel consists of a series of buildings descending a hill and overlooking the sea. The grounds are immaculate, beautiful and secure. It has a good choice of excellent restaurants. It is well away from the noisier resorts. It is clearly a high quality hotel.

They must be exhausted at the end of the day because Bahía seems to attract a lot of very ‘entitled’ types! Our main issue was with the dining options. A really good quality buffet would have been preferable for us. Instead, there are series of a la carte restaurants, which are ok, but it’s a bit much having to make sure you’ve booked in to be able to eat. We saw several people turned away. The Italian Trattoria was very good, Alesios was nice, and Upalupa improved over our 3 visits. But it was a pain to organise. Worse though was the breakfast arrangement. This was a Buffett, but never a pleasant experience. It was always heaving and felt chaotic and just not relaxing. The way the buffet was laid out didn’t to my mind work with the numbers of people trying to get to them. We did the bare minimum and left as quickly as we could. Usually queues to get in as well. We probably wouldn’t stay there again.

Without doubt the best Hotel in Tenerife by a mile. The staff are friendly and nothing is an issue no matter what. The food options are great and the gardens spectacular. Different pools to choose from. Night entertainment is fun, location to shops and beach are perfect.

Great location on the beach. Good selection of restaurants and good evening entertainment. Usual problem with sunbeds with the vast majority reserved by over enthusiastic people by 8.00am. Breakfast room far too busy, like a rugby scrum getting food. Need more than one breakfast restaurant. 5 star and people still thieving the food to take away! No waiter service around pool. Room was average, single beds a pain and garden view was blocked by a tree.

Review for Bahia del Duque Hotel We’ve just returned from another brilliant week at Bahia del Duque with my partner and our ten-year-old daughter. This place never fails to impress. Our first visit was back in 2016, with a group of five, including my stepson and stepdaughter. Even then, it stood out, but somehow it’s got even better. From the moment you step through the doors, you sense there’s something special about this place. It’s not just about the luxury—it’s the atmosphere, the attention to detail, and, most importantly, the people. The staff here are fantastic. They care about what they do, from the room service team to housekeeping and the management. You can see it in every smile, every greeting, every little extra touch. The traditional Canarian dress they wear adds a unique charm, giving the place a real sense of character. The food is superb. Each restaurant offers a different experience, but Kensei is the standout if you’re after a fine dining experience. It’s not just about the food, which is delicious, by the way; it’s the whole experience—thoughtfully crafted dishes that look as good as they taste. The spa is another gem. Two 90-minute massages, and you’re a new person—totally relaxed, completely rejuvenated. The atmosphere there is so calming, just what you need to unwind. And if you’re up for it, there’s always Padel—great fun and a nice way to keep active. This is a very special place, and worth every penny.

Beautiful hotel. Large, comfortable rooms and bathrooms, friendly staff, amazing salt water pools, beautiful gardens. I travel with a service dog, and had no issues. Lots of dining options. El Duque beach is clear water, safe to swim. Simply perfect overall.

This is an excellent hotel in a great location. The pools are unique utilising local rock as well as traditional pool materials and look amazing. We didn’t use the pools much as the hotel has direct access to the Playa Del Duque beach, which is man made with golden sand and crystal clear water. There are lots of restaurants but we only used two of them as we purposely had B&B as we wanted to out in the evening rather than staying in the hotel. The Japanese restaurant (Kensei) was a great experience and we would highly recommend the tasting menu. The hotel is very classy and an upmarket feel and associated service. If you want the livelier side of Tenerife the Fañabe area with it restaurants and bars is only a short walk away. We look forward to returning to this hotel in the future

It has been a few years since I last visited the Hotel and although there are areas that may seem dated in comparison to a very modern hotel, I would not change a thing. This Hotel is special, I love the atmosphere created by the sheer variety and colour of the buildings, filled with character and excitement. So many pools to choose from, there is so much space and there is no-one putting out towels to bag a bed. The staff are wonderful and always willing to help. The rooms are spacious and the beds most comfortable. The Hotel provides a mini bar and some treats for purchase however they also provide water on a daily basis, free treats (which were just lovely), an evening turn down service with complimentary chocolates and the bathroom is stocked with excellent products. The selection of food at breakfast is amazing, I can't think of any item of food that was not on offer or not available upon request, a great way to start the day. There is nightly entertainment and although I didn't take advantage of it, there is an observatory too. It's one of my favourite Hotels and I will be returning next year if not before. It was a simply wonderful stay and I can't recommend it enough.

Vi hadde en fantastisk fin ferieuke på Casas Ducales. Svært fornøyd med rommet vi fikk. Svært hyggelig mottagelse og veldig hyggelig service. Vi likte spesielt godt afternoon tea tilbudet. De tidligere frokostene i hoved restaurante var også et av høyde punktene. Personalet var svært hyggelige
