Absolutely beautiful location… we parked the car and didn’t leave! 2 days of breathtaking views, pool, beach, trail right on property, varied food options and even add couples massage! We loved everything!

This hotel is located on the shore with access to 2 small and spectacular natural beaches with amazing surroundings of thees and cliffs. Rooms are beautiful with extraordinary view to the sea. Restaurant is also located with a privileged beach view. Pool area and terraces are beautiful full of peace, nature and sea sounds. Service is good.

Been coming to the Aiguablava hotel for 30 years - we love that the staff are soo friendly and like a big family. The hotel has recently had an upgrade with the wow factor. Perfect location to walk to the aiguablava beach or by a quick boat transfer from the port de fornells a 2 minute walk down from the hotel. Plenty of parking. Hotel rooms are fresh and very comfortable. Updated gym and tennis court. 10/10 for a perfect relaxing holiday. A secret gem to visit.

Very nice setting and outdoor eating area. Around the pool area could do with a little updating but I imagine in summer it is filled with people which would make it look different than early spring. At dinner the restaurant lighting is a little bright but food was lovely. Great walks nearby. No sea view from the pool which is fine but picture is a little misleading. Great staff and cleanliness

Such a great destination! We spent four relaxing days at this beautiful hotel. This was our second visit and I got the impression many of the guests were frequent visitors. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. Quite a few fights of stairs and steps around the hotel. The view from the dining terrace was stunning and it was no hardship eating in the garden when the terrace was full - ensure you book in advance to get your preferred area. Drink and food prices were fair and the menu is the same irrespective of time of day or area chosen to eat. There was a daily special to break the monotony. Highlight for us was the Club Sandwich! Hopefully we will find an opportunity to return.

It was a beautiful property with very clean rooms and an extremely accommodating staff. A perfect get a way location. It had plenty of activities to do on the property (beach, pool, tennis etc) but it was also an easy drive to town. The restaurant was very good and the included breakfast was fantastic. I would highly recommend it.

Excellent property in an amazing area of the world. Clean, friendly staff and a location that can't be beat. We saw some folks struggling with the stairs and it is a 15 minute walk to a sand beach or a 5 minute walk to a smaller beach. If you're not going to eat on site then it's an $18 euro cab ride into Begur or a 15 minute walk to the nearest restaurant. This worked well for us but it won't work for everybody. We loved the stay and completely recommend the property

En un mot superbe ! Chambre vue sur la mer fantastique. Personnel adorable , buffet petit dej très complet et très agréable si pris sur la terrasse. Piscine a l’abri du vent bien agréable pour se poser. Hôtel très propre et situé dans une magnifique baie a 5 min en voiture de begur. De jolies balades à pieds possible sur les sentiers côtiers. Restaurant un peu cher mais très bon et avec cadre magnifique . Bref un excellent séjour passé dans cet hôtel avec un prix de la nuit + petit dej tout à fait correct pour le standing . Un seul bémol peut être : l’insonorisation des chambres pourrait être améliorée .

Highly recommend this hotel. The staff was very nice. The room we stayed in was clean and spotless. We also had an incredible view. It’s a place to relax. We enjoyed going to the beach and there were several to choose in the area. The breakfast buffet was incredible with numerous choices. It was obvious that there are several repeat families that visit. The staff was very attentive and pleasant. Five stars for this hotel and staff. Hope to return someday.

It's an overall really lovely property with very attentive staff. The breakfast buffet offerings are really solid with a lot of variety and amazing view out of the dining room. We also ate lunch there and really enjoyed the food. Unfortunately, while the room we stayed in had a nice beach view and nice furnishings, it seemed that the building it was located in had an issue with dampness and there were multiple Glade Plug Ins in the hallways which we assumed was to cover up the smell. We could smell damp in our room when first walking in but it would go away after being inside for a few minutes. The main building and one other building did not have the damp or the air freshener odours. As someone who gets migraine attacks triggered by artificial fragrances, the air fresheners emitted a really strong, noxious smell that made the stay less comfortable. I hope the hotel can find a better way to manage dampness without trying to cover it up with strong air fresheners that can be challenging for people with migraine and smell sensitivities to be exposed to.

Really one of the most beautiful settings we've ever been to. Turquoise waters right up to the hotel and our hotel room looked out over a gorgeous little cove. Breakfast was stunning - delicious selection all woth a great view.

We booked two Garden View rooms back in April 2025, however when we checked in we were told the ‘garden view’ rooms were located in an annexe, 300 metres on a steep incline from the main hotel ! The rooms were on the 3rd floor and there was no lift !! Instead of a ‘garden view’ our rooms overlooked a car park ! Why were we not informed of this at the time of booking ? The rooms were totally unacceptable and fortunately the hotel managed to give us alternative accommodation in an apartment, at an extra 50 euros per night.

On nous a attribué une chambre juste en haut de l’escalier et avec le passage le soir et le bruit de la ventilation le difficile de dormir.

Overall the property was very beautiful! We got the ocean room and it was not as luxurious as the photos depicted, small shower/ room that looked different from photos but the view from room was beautiful. We got dinner at the hotel which unfortunately was a tourist trap, very low quality meat labeled as steak with one bite size yellow potato for over $30 euros. My husband and I were left starving and there was no where else in town open so we went to bed hungry and out $80 euros. Breakfast was beautiful and good. Parking was very tight, my husband and I got blocked in. If you are cautious where you park and get dinner in town early it's a great relaxing property.

What a fantastic place!!!! Location, sea views, incredible!!!Rooms were very comfortable and quiet. Would suggest contacting hotel directly about room location as some are likely challenging for those with physical limitations. Will definitely come back.

We did not think the staff particularly friendly. Breakfast was excellent but dinner was not inspiring. Bearing in mind the age of a lot of the patrons, there were no lifts and a lot of stairs. Even in our bedroom with no hand rails. It is avery pretty place but… the rooms are very attractive and do are the views.

Been coming to the Aiguablava hotel for 30 years - we love that the staff are soo friendly and like a big family. The hotel has recently had an upgrade with the wow factor. Perfect location to walk to the aiguablava beach or by a quick boat transfer from the port de fornells a 2 minute walk down from the hotel. Plenty of parking. Hotel rooms are fresh and very comfortable. Updated gym and tennis court. 10/10 for a perfect relaxing holiday. A secret gem to visit.

We did not think the staff particularly friendly. Breakfast was excellent but dinner was not inspiring. Bearing in mind the age of a lot of the patrons, there were no lifts and a lot of stairs. Even in our bedroom with no hand rails. It is avery pretty place but… the rooms are very attractive and do are the views.

Such a great destination! We spent four relaxing days at this beautiful hotel. This was our second visit and I got the impression many of the guests were frequent visitors. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. Quite a few fights of stairs and steps around the hotel. The view from the dining terrace was stunning and it was no hardship eating in the garden when the terrace was full - ensure you book in advance to get your preferred area. Drink and food prices were fair and the menu is the same irrespective of time of day or area chosen to eat. There was a daily special to break the monotony. Highlight for us was the Club Sandwich! Hopefully we will find an opportunity to return.

For the most part I liked this hotel, I did not Love it, and probably wouldn’t come back. On the good side, the room was spacious and comfortable and I had a nice view of the marina, with an additional 20Euro per night payment. The area and view from hotel is gorgeous, although the hotel is pretty isolated, so you have to drive a ways to get to any town with restaurants. On the down side, when I arrived at the checkin there was only 1 person to help and she was on the phone. She talked for a good 5 or 6 minutes while I waited for her. It seemed like she was talking to a friend and couldn’t be bothered to help me. I finally had to ask her to help me check in and she seemed unnerved that she had to get off the phone to check me in. Even though the hotel had a lot of empty rooms, they put me in the worst section of the hotel with a view of the parking lot, and I had to ASK to have a better room. In my opinion, a nice hotel should put you in the best room available in your price range right away, that way you feel like they care about your stay! The upgraded room that I got for an additional 20 euros was large and had a nice view, although it had a very chemical smell to it, which never went away. The breakfast was wonderful and had an incredible view. There is parking but it’s really tight and hard to manage and I ended up damaging my car because the spaces were too difficult to get in and out of. The hotel had a stuffy atmosphere rather than feeling modern and light.

It was a beautiful property with very clean rooms and an extremely accommodating staff. A perfect get a way location. It had plenty of activities to do on the property (beach, pool, tennis etc) but it was also an easy drive to town. The restaurant was very good and the included breakfast was fantastic. I would highly recommend it.

This hotel is located on the shore with access to 2 small and spectacular natural beaches with amazing surroundings of thees and cliffs. Rooms are beautiful with extraordinary view to the sea. Restaurant is also located with a privileged beach view. Pool area and terraces are beautiful full of peace, nature and sea sounds. Service is good.

We were there for a relaxing beach vacation with our 5 year old! We loved the property and the main beach was about 25-30 minutes of walk up and down the stairs but worth it and there was a small cove beach in/at the property which was also nice. Water for some reason at the smaller beach was colder but just fine once you get in! The restaurant had bars/restaurant but if you wanted to eat something different then you’d have to drive 10-15 minutes to town! It was great regardless!

Amazing experience. The hotel is incredibly well done and manages a quaint and relaxed vibe, but with a high standard of service. It also attracts a clientele looking for a quiet, relaxed time which is very nice. The only comment would be that the food in restaurant could be better. After eating there twice, I found it mediocre annd very overpriced for what it was offering and we looked to go elsewhere. Also keep in mind walking many places is not possible, however there is a bus into Begur from the property which is very convenient. For swimming and relaxing how ever, it’s perfect.

Excellent property in an amazing area of the world. Clean, friendly staff and a location that can't be beat. We saw some folks struggling with the stairs and it is a 15 minute walk to a sand beach or a 5 minute walk to a smaller beach. If you're not going to eat on site then it's an $18 euro cab ride into Begur or a 15 minute walk to the nearest restaurant. This worked well for us but it won't work for everybody. We loved the stay and completely recommend the property

Room was nice. Cleanliness 9/10. Food was variable. Incredible breakfast with anything you could imagine. Some dinners were great; others not so great. I asked for no extra salt in the Paella, and another evening, no extra salt in the pasta. Both were so salty that nobody at our table of 4 would eat them. Nevertheless, it's a beautiful hotel with great staff and an incredible setting. The water is beautiful. Beaches are small but there are larger beaches nearby. Would stay again.
