This motel is in the heart of Beechworth, and within easy walking distance of all the main attractions and dining and retail outlets. So you can forget the car when exploring attractions of this beautful town. It's also very quiet, so no problem for light sleepers. The parking is good, and all the tooms are at ground level. The construction is solid brick, with ceilings much higher than you normally get. Even when it was cold outside, my room still felt warm. My room and bathroom were spotless, with all the facilities one could want for a motel. The owner was very friendly and helpful. My only criticisms would be the rather low water pressure in the shower, and the weak main room light, but this is pretty minor. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

My partner and I stay in Beachworth quite often for work commitments and have stayed at a variety of different motels in Beachworth and in general we were quite pleased with staying here. our negatives were that the rooms could certainly do with some modernisation. And the other negative was as far as parking it’s very tight in some spots so if you have a large four-wheel-drive you could find yourself blocking in one of the other vehicles or blocked in yourself because of the angle of the car parking in some spots. The positives were that the rooms were a good size and the location was quiet.

I had a fall ,parked car up top, walking down driveway to Room 16 pitch black dark, Decided to go to footpath, between cars I fell over (hurt leg , ribs and bleeding elbow )the concrete to stop cars..(dangerous being where people walk) I’ve had 2 dr visits and leg still not good…but that is my worry.. My concern is someone else could be worse off.. I would like to see you add some type of lighting to this outdoor area..or/and those concrete blocks placed in front of cars…it was around 11pm when I came in…

The location and surrounds of the property was lovely. Cleanliness- a undergarment was left behind the curtain in the room (by a previous visitor) The wash basin plug hole was mouldy, my pillow smelt very unpleasant and I could not use it. Condition- a cabinet door was missing and room looked worn. Staff & service- we left at 9am in the morning the reception was supposed to be open at 8am but there was locked, therefore I couldn’t tell them about my concerns.

The location is great, everything is in walking distance. Easy check in and out. Two things which disappointed me. The bathroom needs a massive update. The hot water is unreliable and you can heat every tap run in every neighbouring room through the plumbing. The bed and pillows were hard as rocks. The worst nights sleep, waking up stiff and sore.

This is a terribly unreliable place. We booked this place 9 days ago and we were travelling from 300 km away from Beechworth, 15 mins before the checking time someone from the motel called and said there was a double booking and no rooms available. This is the worst place to book if you need hazel free accommodation.

We rented 2 rooms for one night. The owner, Brian, made an unauthorised charge to my credit card the next morning for $15. When I rang to enquire he said a roll of toilet paper was missing. I have no need for toilet paper and did not take it. He said he would only refund the $15 he charge to my cc without basis if I sent a roll of toilet paper to him. He then hung up. Worst customer service I have had in decades. Avoid this place and man at all costs!

The rooms were clean and the check in was easy. We were able to check in early and drop our bags off before going to lunch. It is in a great spot with in walking distance to the town and Last St Brewery. We will definitely book again.

This quaint little motel was in the perfect location, walking distance to the main street, shops, restaurants and cafes. The staff at reception were friendly and the process was quick and easy. The room was spacious and warm, with plenty of space for luggage and our bikes. We had a small fridge, microwave, cutlery and a coffee pod machine, which was a nice touch. The TV was bigger than a standard motel room, which is great for taking time out to relax. The beds were clean and warm, with electric blankets for the cooler nights. The mattresses are in need of upgrading, but still managed a comfortable nights sleep. Overall, the property is tired and needing a bit of cosmetic work, but the location and price made it worthwhile. I would definitely stay again as it was perfect for a short stay.
