Just book it. Don’t overthink it, this is the place to stay if you are looking for the quintessential New England experience. Everything was perfect: the room (Cinnamon), the grounds, the breakfast, and especially the service. The property (Inn and grounds) were gorgeous, clean, calm and quiet. Nightcap drinks at the bar were excellent. Breakfast of pancakes and bacon was phenomenal. The staff (Todd especially) could not have been better and have easily blown away every other location we stayed at during our trip (and that we can ever recall). Todd was a wealth of knowledge of the region and greeted us immediately with a smile and charm that made us feel like we were home. Can’t say enough good things about the experience, biggest regret of our 5 day trip was only spending one night at the Inn at Manchester.

A lovely traditional Vermont inn with ample parking and quiet rooms. The host was gracious and the breakfast options were delicious. The Sunflower Room is small, well-furnished and just the right size for two adults with not a lot of luggage. We would look forward to staying here again in the future.

What a charming Inn. Manicured to the 9’s and so cute inside. Amazing attention to detail throughout the Inn. Todd was a fabulous host for the evening and made us feel like family. I highly recommend staying here and if our travels find us in Manchester we will be back. Thank you.

From ease of parking and check-in, the spacious room, comfortable bed and delicious breakfasts, we loved our stay at at the Inn at Manchester. The hosts were charming and helpful and the on-site pub was a fun place to meet other guests. Conveniently walkable to most of Manchester's historic area and dining. Highly recommended!

The Inn was just beautiful with manicured grounds and relaxing spots to sit. The staff was friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend a stay at this inn for a night or longer. We know that we will go back again!

The Inn is a lovely property in a great location. Love the front porch! Our room on the attic level does have lots of steps (we came to hike so no big deal) was very comfy and bright! The grounds are beautifully maintained and would be a fab location for an event: corporate, wedding, family reunion. The staff was exceptional and fresh cooked breakfast delicious. Definitely will return!.*****

A wonderful stay at a lovely characterful property within walking distance of shops and restaurants in Manchester. Brian, Virgil and staff were very welcoming- we especially appreciated the roaring log fires and great pancakes!

Property is outstanding. Breakfast a delight. Staff very professional and accommodating. Note: if you are a super light sleeper, bring earplugs. It is a B&B so you do hear everything but it was quiet during typical sleeping hours. Be ready to be woken with the smell of cooking bacon on the days they serve it (yum).

Did not like $$$ for shabby accommodation, tiny room which was off site (about which I was not informed when booking!), having to trek to breakfast each morning and except for Linus—who was great!) having no attention from anyone there once we were registered.

No sounds penetrated our rooms, the king bed was perfect, and the breakfast after a good night’s sleep centered on buttermilk pancakes better than any I can make. Price for all of this is modest, and we look forward to returning!

Everything about this property is outstanding! Clean and comfortable accommodations, quiet and convenient location, enjoyable sit-down made-to-order breakfast, and friendly, courteous and respectful staff. My wife and I enjoyed meeting and conversing with Brian, the owner, and innkeepers Todd and John. Our two-night stay was not long enough!

Clean and comfortable accommodations, quiet and convenient location, enjoyable sit-down made-to-order breakfast, and friendly, courteous and respectful staff. Very well maintained old house that they turn it to a very lovely "Bad & Breakfast" that was really very sharm and specially the way that Gabi received us was very special. Personal attention, nice and clean room and in a very authentic atmosphere. Highly recommended.

The Inn at Manchester was all we’d hoped for and more! We did a quick weekend trip to Stratton and enjoyed our time off the slopes here. The service was friendly and fantastic, the room and mail house were cozy and charming, and the location was a short walk to restaurants and shops and easy drive to the mountains. Already looking forward to our next trip back!

From ease of parking and check-in, the spacious room, comfortable bed and delicious breakfasts, we loved our stay at at the Inn at Manchester. The hosts were charming and helpful and the on-site pub was a fun place to meet other guests. Conveniently walkable to most of Manchester's historic area and dining. Highly recommended!

Everything about this property is outstanding! Clean and comfortable accommodations, quiet and convenient location, enjoyable sit-down made-to-order breakfast, and friendly, courteous and respectful staff. My wife and I enjoyed meeting and conversing with Brian, the owner, and innkeepers Todd and John. Our two-night stay was not long enough!

Just book it. Don’t overthink it, this is the place to stay if you are looking for the quintessential New England experience. Everything was perfect: the room (Cinnamon), the grounds, the breakfast, and especially the service. The property (Inn and grounds) were gorgeous, clean, calm and quiet. Nightcap drinks at the bar were excellent. Breakfast of pancakes and bacon was phenomenal. The staff (Todd especially) could not have been better and have easily blown away every other location we stayed at during our trip (and that we can ever recall). Todd was a wealth of knowledge of the region and greeted us immediately with a smile and charm that made us feel like we were home. Can’t say enough good things about the experience, biggest regret of our 5 day trip was only spending one night at the Inn at Manchester.

Good New England-style inn, partially in a new building (but made to look old) and partially in a Victorian building. Rooms large and very well maintained. Very relaxing stay. Breakfast with a 'daily special' hot dish, or eggs, well cooked and professionally served. This was a 2nd visit, from a year ago.

The Inn at Manchester is a wonderful inn. This was our second visit. The first was over 40 years ago. Still as charming as it was then. The staff are very accommodating. The breakfasts delicious. The grounds and the inn itself are kept impeccable. My only complaint was staying in a very small room and having to climb some very awkward stairs. 40 Years ago the climb was a lot easier! Next visit will be in a larger room in a lower floor!

Fomos muito bem recebidos no The Inn at Manchester!!! Desde a chegada tardia com o cuidado ao deixar a chave do quarto separada com meu nome! A atenção do Bryan, da Gabriela, da Gretchen e todos os funcionários!!! Sempre cuidadosos, ótimas sugestões de passeios, restaurantes, nos sentimos acolhidos nos dias em que estivemos aí!!! O café da manhã muito gostoso, o quarto limpo, as acomodações em perfeito funcionamento. Em função da época, o lindíssimo e bem cuidado jardim nos encantou!!! Realmente foi como se sentir em casa a quilômetros de distância!!! Tudo muito especial!!!! Com certeza quando estiver de volta à Manchester, o The Inn at Manchester será minha escolha!!!

One of the nicest inns that I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying at. Beautiful setting, very clean room…. almost felt like a small apartment. The one thing that I didn’t like was that I was on the third floor and the stairs leading up are very steep, and you have to turn your foot sideways in order to get up or down on each small (but steep) step. There are no elevators, so you have to be able to climb steep stairs if you’re on the third floor.
