Bastion Heritage Hotel

Quarto bastante confortável, hotel com ótima localização, equipe gentil e sempre solicita, além de café da manhã excelente. Os únicos pontos que destaco como negativos são : a internet no quarto não é boa o suficiente para reuniões por vídeo e o spa é pago. Pelo valor do hotel esperaria também que esses dois pontos fossem melhores.

Near the end of 3 weeks in Croatia. So happy to have the comfort and service of an American quality high end hotel after several apartments in historic cities “posing” as hotels. Hotels.com complicates the issue by not easily distinguishing between the two. Great staff. Great location. Great harbor view. Great cocktail bar. Great breakfast included. Easy parking. Will recommend this hotel to all our friends traveling in this area.

Arrived from the US after a very long flight & were greeted by very kind staff. Had cocktail in the lounge and slept well. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the hand made ‘ginger shots’ offered on the buffet. Breakfast staff & front desk staff were adorable and friendly. Very nice experience-especially loved watching the rowboat taxi from our window-which we experienced a few days later!

Nice hotel, comfortable room and good location. Excellent breakfast. Parking option close to the hotel. Use of Spa (sauna) not included in the price. Massage not available both days we were visiting. Hotel staff professionally friendly. Overall too high price for what is offered.

Property is very close to the harbor which is the main attraction in Zadar. Staff was excellent as was the restaurant and bar on location. Listed as a "luxury" hotel so pricing reflects that!

Can't beat the location - in the old town and a short walk to everything. And yet, the hotel itself was quiet and well organized. The staff helpfulness with managing my car was a strong plus too But The jewel is the restaurant Kastel. Which was the finest meal I had in seven nights in Croatia.

Das Hotel ist direkt am Hafen und in Alte Stadt gelegen, das Blick auf das lebendige und romantische Hafen ist unvergessliche! Das Personal sind sehr freundlich und fleissig, v.a. die Multitalente Maryline. Das Hotel Angestellte parkierte die Autos bei Hotel hervorragend.

We had a wonderful stay in Zadar at Hotel Bastion. When checking in, just park nearby and the front desk staff will lower the gate and park your car. The staff makes the experience exceptional! Very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the made to order breakfast in a Michelin restaurant. Highly recommended!

Clean and has outstanding hospitality services

주차 : 겨울 비수기라서 그런지는 몰라서 호텔 건물 출입문 앞에 바로 주차 가능해 편했습니다 위치 : 주변 관광지를 걸어서보고 치안도 괜찮아 보였습니다. 난방 : 따뜻했어요 청결 : 깨끗한 숙소였습니다. 조식 : 풍성하고 일부 메뉴는 주문받아 바로 해서 맛있었어요 (커피. 펜케이크. 계란요리)

good location, and the receptionist is helpful! But the room is not clean , full of dust on floor, bathtub waterway is serious silted up. It’s a nightmare to shower in the bathtub. Towel are hard and old. Bed is not comfortable, the waitress in the restaurant always busy and cant give service. Coffee and tea can’t make by ourselves need to order, I asked a cup of hot water in order to make a tea myself ( can take tea bag fr buffet area) but wait for 10 mins still not come . when we order hot food, the waitress just go away while I am still placing the order , I said I want egg bacon ; and then she just left before I say mushroom.

The hotel was really nice and very high quality! The staff was really friendly, the breakfast was of high quality and the room was good. This is one of the best hotels I've stayed in in my life (and I've traveled a lot)! The cleaners cleaned my room in the evening when I went out for 1,5hr after sleeping whole day in the room and that's why they didn't clean it during the daytime. It was very good suprised for me!

Boa. Bom hotel! Limpeza embaixo dos móveis , deixa a desejar café da manhã , normal, bom!

We stayed at this hotel for only one night during our travels and it was a perfect place to stay. The rooms was very clean with the sea view. The hotel staff was very welcoming and friendly, we parked the car in front of the hotel. Breakfast was brilliant as well, we will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Die Lage ist unschlagbar, das Personal ist auf der Höhe sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Parkplatz ist ok. Es gibt 3 deutsche TV- Sender. W-lan ist zu schwach. Zimmer und Bad sind gut. Was gar nicht geht ist das Frühstück. Für ein 4 Sterne Hotel erwarte ich etwas anderes!!

The AC in our room was leaking. There was water every where on the floor. The location is great.

The Bastion Hotel is conveniently located in the old town, just a few minutes’ walk from the main points of interest. The staff offers a warm welcome and is very helpful—service is one of this establishment’s strong points. We stayed in the “Design” suite. This room was relatively small for a suite but well designed, with a sitting area and a good-sized bathroom. The fact that the suite still feels cramped suggests that the regular rooms must be very small. Light sleepers will find the room noisy—there is a club directly next door that can be loud. In my opinion, while this hotel is pleasant, it does not have the standing of a “Relais & Châteaux” property: there is no turndown service, and the food is very average. The rather poor breakfast discouraged us from trying the restaurant for dinner. That said, it’s still a hotel that offers good value for money, friendly service, and a very convenient location. This room was relatively small for a suite but well designed, with a sitting area and a good-sized bathroom. The fact that the suite still feels cramped suggests that the regular rooms must be very small. Light sleepers beware, there’s is a club directly next door that can be loud. In my opinion, while this hotel is pleasant, it does not have the standing of a “Relais & Châteaux” property: there is no turndown service, and the food is very average. We had a fabulous experience in our one night stay at Hotel Bastion! We wished we were there longer!! The rooms were very clean. The garden lounge across the street was such a good spot. The staff was absolutely superb in every way. So kind and friendly and helpful. The only small con was the Garden Lounge was right outside our room & they start playing dance music in the evening and into the night. This was only an issue for me, my partner was not bothered by it at all. And it was only an issue because we went to bed early since we were getting up at 5 am the next morning and I wasn’t able to get good sleep until the music was turned off.

Sadly, my sea-view room faced an open-air nightclub that blasted music until 1:30am. This was never mentioned in the listing or at check-in. At 11pm—when I was already in bed—reception casually offered to move me. Not helpful when you’ve already unpacked. The next morning, the manager was dismissive and said I should’ve "known" the hotel faces the club. No apology, no accountability. Breakfast was poor, and the staff attitude was indifferent. The hotel presents itself as premium, but nothing about the experience felt that way. I raised this with Expedia, but the hotel refused to take any responsibility. They claimed they can’t control another business—yet it’s an open-air club directly across the road, and every room on that side is affected. If you want a restful stay in Zadar, look elsewhere. Loud music, poor management, and a lack of guest care make this hotel one to avoid.

Staff were exceptional and the breakfast buffet and a la carte options included were delicious. The AC in the room was noisy due to some rattling of the metal frame but luckily it wasn’t a hot day in the middle of summer. Seemed like a fixable problem however and wasn’t middle of the summer so it wasn’t a big issue for my wife and I. I would recommend this hotel to travelers visiting Zadar, Croatia.

Overall, location was good. Staff were polite. Only issue we encountered was that the air conditioning did not work. We brought this to the attention of the staff multiple times and they did not offer a solution. I feel Hotel should not advertise air conditioning if there is none. Additionally water was supposed to be drinkable from tap however it was cloudy with sediment. We understand that the hotel itself is over 100 years old so pipe corrosion may have caused this.

The staff was amazing. Ivan, at check in, walked out to our car to greet us and he was wonderful. He told us of all the places to visit in his area as well as other places that are a must see on our visit throughout Croatia. He was cheerful and informative. The service and the staff at the restaurant were the best I have had on my travels throughout Croatia. I give this hotel a 10/10.

We were very pleased with everything about the hotel, but the gentleman named Mario at the front desk was exceptionally helpful. We visited the hotel the day before to ask about transportation to the hotel from Šibenik. He researched it and sent us an email with good information. Every day that we were there, he greeted us warmly and wished us well and was always available for help and answers as we were first time visitors to the city. Everyone in the hotel, including the staff in the Restaurant was exceptional.

We loved this hotel. Very conveniently located in town. Loved proximity to the water and the walk on the wall and very close to the market and even the old ruins and waterfront for sunset. The town is great! My daughter was not feeling well. They helped us with the pharmacy and also delivered a perfect dinner for her. Breakfast was very good. Friendly, great service. Wished we were staying longer!

Great hotel 4-star hotel in Zadar in a great location on the edge of the old town. Walking distance to the sea organs and other attractions. Everything was superb; friendly and super accommodating staff, early check in, amenities, functional room and bathroom, good breakfast buffet combined with breakfast a la carte. Highly recommended. My favorite place to stay in Zadar.

Superbe hôtel bien placé près du port de ZADAR et de la vieille ville. Petit déjeuner fantastique. Lit super douillet et très belle chambre . Le personnel a l’accueil et au restaurant est très sympathique et accueillant. Ils se plient en deux pour vous. Bravo ,je donne 10/10 à cet hôtel. Je reviendrai.

Overall rooms were fine- clean etc The drawback was the restaurant(s)! First 2 breakfasts eere terrible. All breads stale or retoasted since the hitel had a minimum or no guests to serve. 3day improved breakfast was better- fresh bread… Avoid the restaurant!!!!! ONE shrimp and only one!!!!!! Served on a large plate Shashimi shrimp just ONE!!! was $29 Euros/ 30 Us$. Veg soup better said sqash créme was tasteless. Aside from that Hotel was well located and clean

Hermoso Hotel. Las comidas del desayuno excelentes.

주차를 호텔 내부에 하는데 주차요금 15유로. 4층 투숙했는데 전망이 없는데다 침대쪽과 욕실 욕조쪽이 경사가 심하게 져서 키 큰 사람은 이용에 불편. 조식은 매우 형편없음.삶은 계란이나 오믈렛 종류도 제공하지 않고 종류가 매우 부실함.이 정도 가격이라면 스플리트오 저녁에 이동해서 이틀 묶는게 낫다고 생각함
