Grundsätzlich solides Haus für kurzen Aufenthalt. Das Personal am Check In dagegen war uns gegenüber leider unterirdisch. Auch Respekt anderen Gästen gegenüber wurde dabei vermissen lassen! Wer so mit seinen Gästen spricht und Kultur aus anderen Kulturen über Respekt und Anstand dem Gast gegenüber stellt, muss sich einen anderen Beruf suchen. Ein Wochenende unter Freunden hatte somit einen sehr sehr negativen Start ohne eigene Schuld! Sehr schade Mercure……

Alles halbwegs ok, das Hotel braucht aber eine Sanierung, die Rezeption ist sehr unfreundlich und nicht hilfsbereit, über Himmelfahrt war der Frühstücksraum eine Katastrophe: Speisen auf dem Boden vor dem Buffet, betrunkene Gäste (morgens!), singende Kegelclubs…

Location is good, huge parking lot, and about 12 min walking distance to the town center. The hotel is clean and nice with a nice breakfast room and buffet for $20-25. Here are a few points for improvements. The swimming pool opens only after 9 am for hotel guests, which is a little late for me as I like to do my sports routine before breakfast. There is no coffee machine on the room but a water boiler. Rooms are only done after three days saving them a lot of service costs. There is no safe lock box in the room. The receptionist is not very proactive pointing out that a specific watch-like magnetic device is needed for access to the pool or a guest card ‘Kurkarte’ for discounts to wellness programs and local attractions. You will get it, if you specifically ask for it; it is included in the room charge.
