Hotel was in a great setting and room was lovely. Bed very comfy. Sufficiently equipped. However, rooms were not soundproofed and we were kept awake until 2am with noise from the room above. Also, issue with shower overflowing so that bathroom floor was covered with water (no drain). Great breakfast and lovely to have use of the pool etc.

We booked a nights stay as we have recently booked our wedding at this hotel, we couldn't of asked for a better place to get married, rooms were excellent, spa was busy but it was valentine's weekend and the food was superb. We are more than happy to share with our family and friends after our nights stay

Staff were fantastic from the initial phone call up until the time we left. Facilities were great golf and spa.The bed was really comfy with a nice view from the room.

Booked for a couples night away. We arrived early, and they let us check in early which was fab and the guy booking us in was great. We went to our room, and we had a balcony which was fab. Room was a little dated and the cleanliness of the bathroom- let's say it could do with a scrub in the grouting and around taps ect. The bed was a double but had 2 single beds pushed together but was very comfy. We headed to the spa to use the pool ect. The hydro pool was out of use, the hot tub we couldn't get the jets to work, but looking at them they needed a bloody good clean as were filthy. Othr facilities were fab, sauna, steam room and pool were lovely and the changing rooms the shower was amazing I could of stayed in there for ages! We opted not to eat at the restaurant and went out, however we had breakfast the next day only 2 staff on front of house and the one girl was running around trying to sort everyone out. I was a little disappointed as you had to order breakfast instead of a buffet style, there was a lack of continental and the fruit wasn't fresh. It wasn't the best breakfast, would I stay again no probably not.

Lovely pool area and polite staff, unfortunately bins in the rooms had not been emptied from previous guests. Paid for late check out to use the pool area and would say this was worth it. breakfast fresh made and very good.

Only small negatives was there did not appear to be any way into reception other than stairs which wasn’t ideal when carrying luggage etc but that may just be me not looking and also mould on the ceiling in the bathroom but other than that was a nice stay, room over looked the course and was quiet, would stay again. Food and service was also pleasing.

I’ve stayed here before and rebooked because it was such a great place. Lovely, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable bed and room. Great breakfast and a good restaurant for evening meals. Beautiful surroundings and view from the private balcony. Didn’t use leisure facilities but look great.

Very clean room, quite dated however. Nice balcony with great view, but would benefit from some sort of privacy curtain, voile or net, as when in room (Junior Suite), the golfers can look straight into your room if the curtains are open. Lovely service in restaurant and bar

I’ve stayed here before and rebooked because it was such a great place. Lovely, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable bed and room. Great breakfast and a good restaurant for evening meals. Beautiful surroundings and view from the private balcony. Didn’t use leisure facilities but look great.

Only small negatives was there did not appear to be any way into reception other than stairs which wasn’t ideal when carrying luggage etc but that may just be me not looking and also mould on the ceiling in the bathroom but other than that was a nice stay, room over looked the course and was quiet, would stay again. Food and service was also pleasing.

We booked a nights stay as we have recently booked our wedding at this hotel, we couldn't of asked for a better place to get married, rooms were excellent, spa was busy but it was valentine's weekend and the food was superb. Booked for a couples night away. We arrived early, and they let us check in early which was fab and the guy booking us in was great. We went to our room, and we had a balcony which was fab. Room was a little dated and the cleanliness of the bathroom- let's say it could do with a scrub in the grouting and around taps ect. The bed was a double but had 2 single beds pushed together but was very comfy. We headed to the spa to use the pool ect. The hydro pool was out of use, the hot tub we couldn't get the jets to work, but looking at them they needed a bloody good clean as were filthy. Othr facilities were fab, sauna, steam room and pool were lovely and the changing rooms the shower was amazing I could of stayed in there for ages! We opted not to eat at the restaurant and went out, however we had breakfast the next day only 2 staff on front of house and the one girl was running around trying to sort everyone out. I was a little disappointed as you had to order breakfast instead of a buffet style, there was a lack of continental and the fruit wasn't fresh. It wasn't the best breakfast, would I stay again no probably not.

Lovely pool area and polite staff, unfortunately bins in the rooms had not been emptied from previous guests. Paid for late check out to use the pool area and would say this was worth it. breakfast fresh made and very good.

The guest rooms were ok but need a refurb. The public rooms were freezing cold. Had to sit in my coat sonetimes. The food was appalling especially Boxing Day lunch when I invited my family. Probably the worst example was a main course bubble and speak ( ordered by 3 of my guests) which was just a pile of mashed potato with a strip of green leaf placed on top. I could go on

Very good 2 night stay. Swimming pool, spa etc very good, we thought that a closing time of the pool at 7pm was quite early though for the weekend. Receptionists very heplful and welcoming, Room was very spacious but could only find 1 socket to plug in electricals, which was surpising. Having a balcony with a fantastic view of the Welsh valleys was definitley a bonus. Slightly annoying that they were cutting the grass at 7.30 in the mornings on the golf course which woke us up after an 8 and a half hour drive to get to the hotel the night before, so much for a weekend lie in! All in all, a good stay and would visit again.

A pleasant night’s stay at this hotel on a golf course. We enjoyed the quiet and were pleased it had air con. The seating area outside was also lovely. And yes. We’d visit again, we are in the Cardiff area a lot so it’s good to have another option, especially when there are multiple events in town. All the staff were very friendly. We didn’t use the pool as it was shut quite early so had no time.
