Hotel was in a great setting and room was lovely. Bed very comfy. Sufficiently equipped. However, rooms were not soundproofed and we were kept awake until 2am with noise from the room above. Also, issue with shower overflowing so that bathroom floor was covered with water (no drain). Great breakfast and lovely to have use of the pool etc.

We booked a nights stay as we have recently booked our wedding at this hotel, we couldn't of asked for a better place to get married, rooms were excellent, spa was busy but it was valentine's weekend and the food was superb. We are more than happy to share with our family and friends after our nights stay

Staff were fantastic from the initial phone call up until the time we left. Facilities were great golf and spa.The bed was really comfy with a nice view from the room.

Booked for a couples night away. We arrived early, and they let us check in early which was fab and the guy booking us in was great. We went to our room, and we had a balcony which was fab. Room was a little dated and the cleanliness of the bathroom- let's say it could do with a scrub in the grouting and around taps ect. The bed was a double but had 2 single beds pushed together but was very comfy. We headed to the spa to use the pool ect. The hydro pool was out of use, the hot tub we couldn't get the jets to work, but looking at them they needed a bloody good clean as were filthy. Othr facilities were fab, sauna, steam room and pool were lovely and the changing rooms the shower was amazing I could of stayed in there for ages! We opted not to eat at the restaurant and went out, however we had breakfast the next day only 2 staff on front of house and the one girl was running around trying to sort everyone out. I was a little disappointed as you had to order breakfast instead of a buffet style, there was a lack of continental and the fruit wasn't fresh. It wasn't the best breakfast, would I stay again no probably not.

Bed was huge and so comfy. Room was clean and well maintained. Food was yummy. Spa facilities are very nice but should supply robe and slippers for residents use. Was refused a robe as I hadn't paid for a spa treatment.

Lovely pool area and polite staff, unfortunately bins in the rooms had not been emptied from previous guests. Paid for late check out to use the pool area and would say this was worth it. breakfast fresh made and very good.

Only small negatives was there did not appear to be any way into reception other than stairs which wasn’t ideal when carrying luggage etc but that may just be me not looking and also mould on the ceiling in the bathroom but other than that was a nice stay, room over looked the course and was quiet, would stay again. Food and service was also pleasing.

I’ve stayed here before and rebooked because it was such a great place. Lovely, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable bed and room. Great breakfast and a good restaurant for evening meals. Beautiful surroundings and view from the private balcony. Didn’t use leisure facilities but look great.

Lovely hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very relaxed atmosphere. Prices for drinks and food were good. Spa was lovely. Will definitely return.

Very clean room, quite dated however. Nice balcony with great view, but would benefit from some sort of privacy curtain, voile or net, as when in room (Junior Suite), the golfers can look straight into your room if the curtains are open. Lovely service in restaurant and bar

This is a great hotel because it has great staff. Could not had better service from start to finish. Delicious breakfast and comfy bed. Lighting in room could have been better but would highly recommend.

I’ve stayed here before and rebooked because it was such a great place. Lovely, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable bed and room. Great breakfast and a good restaurant for evening meals. Beautiful surroundings and view from the private balcony. Didn’t use leisure facilities but look great.

Only small negatives was there did not appear to be any way into reception other than stairs which wasn’t ideal when carrying luggage etc but that may just be me not looking and also mould on the ceiling in the bathroom but other than that was a nice stay, room over looked the course and was quiet, would stay again. Food and service was also pleasing.

The hotel is in a lovely spot but it needs updating and modernising. The breakfast wasn’t brilliant but perhaps that is personal preference

We had booked for two nights and left after the first night...that speaks for itself. I will say however, that the restaurant food was very good and the staff were excellent.

We booked a nights stay as we have recently booked our wedding at this hotel, we couldn't of asked for a better place to get married, rooms were excellent, spa was busy but it was valentine's weekend and the food was superb. We are more than happy to share with our family and friends after our nights stay

Booked for a couples night away. We arrived early, and they let us check in early which was fab and the guy booking us in was great. We went to our room, and we had a balcony which was fab. Room was a little dated and the cleanliness of the bathroom- let's say it could do with a scrub in the grouting and around taps ect. The bed was a double but had 2 single beds pushed together but was very comfy. We headed to the spa to use the pool ect. The hydro pool was out of use, the hot tub we couldn't get the jets to work, but looking at them they needed a bloody good clean as were filthy. Othr facilities were fab, sauna, steam room and pool were lovely and the changing rooms the shower was amazing I could of stayed in there for ages! We opted not to eat at the restaurant and went out, however we had breakfast the next day only 2 staff on front of house and the one girl was running around trying to sort everyone out. I was a little disappointed as you had to order breakfast instead of a buffet style, there was a lack of continental and the fruit wasn't fresh. It wasn't the best breakfast, would I stay again no probably not.

Lovely pool area and polite staff, unfortunately bins in the rooms had not been emptied from previous guests. Paid for late check out to use the pool area and would say this was worth it. breakfast fresh made and very good.

The guest rooms were ok but need a refurb. The public rooms were freezing cold. Had to sit in my coat sonetimes. The food was appalling especially Boxing Day lunch when I invited my family. Probably the worst example was a main course bubble and speak ( ordered by 3 of my guests) which was just a pile of mashed potato with a strip of green leaf placed on top. I could go on

The Bryn has a lovely golf course and views from the bedrooms are lovely and with a balcony. The double room we had was clean and definatly big enough for our needs. I is a bit dark and oldy worldy but has tea and coffee facilities so overall the room is great. What is not great however are the mattresses, the bed was so hard you have got to love sleeping on the floor to get a night sleep on that bed, my husband is not as fussy as me but even he couldn't sleep so on that negative we unfortunately will not be staying there again. This was our second stay so we tried 2 different rooms but all the same. A very big positive was the evening meal in the restaurant, my goodness our meal was delicious and i couldn't fault it at all. Very tasty and plenty of it. I would 100% recommend the restaurant.

Upgraded to a junior suite 21 square metres instead of 12. I had to walk sideways past the bed and a piece of furniture as the layout was so poor. Steps only into the hotel and steps only to the room not for people with difficulty walking.

The room we had originally booked smelt very strongly of damp, I went to reception to resolve this as I was prepared to stay in the room, the receptionist was very polite and helpful, came to see the room herself and agreed that this was not acceptable. She then upgraded our room which did not smell of damp at all. The upgraded room we had was very tired and dated, the bathroom floor was like an ice rink so I couldn't get in the shower which was over the bath without my husband helping me in and out as I'm pregnant and therefore couldn't risk slipping. Overall, not worth the money spent at all. The staff were very friendly and could not be faulted, but the hotel itself needs some updating and TLC

Beautiful location with stunning views, however the opening times for the pool amenities is poor and the rooms are NOT soundproofed as advertised, myself and my partner were doing adult things and had 2 phone calls from reception thanks to a miserable neighbouring guest,but the staff were so understanding and lovely about it, I would also like to give a special mention to the staff at the top bar who were also really lovely and even insisted on giving us a £1 to have another game of pool even though we had money, him and the chef lad were lovely, and those pastries we bought on the way out were sooo nice too!
