The bathroom had been flooded at some ppoint and the floor was coming up. Tub wouldn't stop leaking and there was water spots all over the ceilings. Like bathroom.above has leaked before. Nothing actually fixed correctly. The pool was down for maintenance. They did offer 20 dollars off for that but it was a big disappointment.

Hotel was being remodeled/updated and we are not aware of that when we booked. We specifically booked because there was a pool. It was out of service. Staff was extremely kind and accomodating.

It looks like this hotel is “newish” as the outside sign is busted out and a small printed sign is hung at the front desk saying “The Peoria Hotel”. The guy at the desk seemed to be expecting us which was nice. The check-in process was quick. The decor was older. The beds did not have a covering over the box springs. The pull out sofa had some crumbs in it and no extra linen. The phone did not connect to the front desk so we had to go and get extra linen. This would be one reason why I would not recommend the hotel. If there was an emergency, there would be no way to call the front t desk for help. There is no housekeeping service which was a surprise. We had no refills of Kleenex or toilet paper during the stay. The breakfast was the same everyday. The ice machine on the first and second floor did not work. The only great thing about the hotel was the three guys who rotated at the front desk. They were extremely nice and promptly helped us. There did not seem to be a lot of people staying there as we were able to park close to the front door.

The service there was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Their rooms were clean but the carpet wasn’t very clean. This caused me to feel apprehensive about walking around barefoot in the room.

Lobby and staff were polite, but once we hit the elevator we knew something was wrong, it smelled strongly like urine. Pool was broken with no notice. Got into the room and it smelled of mildew. The couch had dirty stains on it as well as the carpet and the room was very out dated. We ended up leaving.

Room refrigerator smelled like mold. Carpet stains everywhere. Stains on couch cushions. Beds largely uncomfortable...which we can deal with, it's always a mixed bag. I don't think they were actually queen beds. They seemed smaller than queens. I sleep on a queen at home, and this was definitely not a queen sized bed. I feel as if a corporate team were to come in, they would shut down the place based on our room. If it is corporates fault by not approving a budget, then shame on Marriott.

Our stay was fine. Staff was nice. Breakfast was good.We had a room for 5 people. I wish there were extra blankets & pillow for the person sleeping on the couch. Some of the bedding had stains which probablyhars to avoid being white, but they were clean.The tissue box was already half emtpy and no extra available. The A/C was very loud. Can see some spots on the carpet that were damaged but didn't bother us.

Property was easy to get to. Staff friendly and helpful. Lobby clean. Accommodations were clean but older. Beds could be upgraded. Floor tile in bathroom broken/uneven. Couch in Suite area older and needed replaced. Lights on the building next door flashed on and off all night! Windows should be tinted so you can't see that light at night. We felt like we were in an old disco. On and off, on and off all night.

This was our second stay at this property. The rooms are spacious with 2 beds and a couch that folds out into a third bed, which works well for our family of 4. The rooms are nicely decorated and fairly well taken care of. It's not a new hotel, but we had no complaints. The breakfast was nice with a mix of cereals, bread products, breakfast sandwiches and waffles. The pool was closed while we were there, but that wasn't an issue for us.

When I arrived to check in on 10/8/2025 I was greeted by the Front Desk Agent who was not very nice! First she said my reservation was cancelled she blamed Expedia for cancelling my reservation. Then she changed her story and said a staff cancelled my reservation. So I had to pay out of pocket for the room. Which was not a very nice room. The room was not cleaned at all and the desk agent gave me this room on purpose.

This is a hotel with many issues....took 10 minutes to find our reservations. Was told first could not find all 3 of our reservations. One in our group was in their room when someone else had a key and walked into their room. The front desk gave their room to someone else!!!! Not sure how you can even double book a room when someone is checked in already. Rooms were Very Very out dated and past updated timeline. This is a hotel that should be charging $80 a night not $180 night!!!

The property could definitely use a refresh but all in all was a good setup for the location and price for our daughter's softball tournament at the Louisville Slugger Complex.

Property was easy to get to. Staff friendly and helpful. Lobby clean. Accommodations were clean but older. Beds could be upgraded. Floor tile in bathroom broken/uneven. Couch in Suite area older and needed replaced. Lights on the building next door flashed on and off all night! Windows should be tinted so you can't see that light at night. We felt like we were in an old disco. On and off, on and off all night.

Over all it was nice, friendly very convenient to malls, food. Only negative was mini fridge was dirty and icebox was one big lump of ice (needs to be defrosted) even better replaced. It worked.

Curt at the front desk was very kind & helpful. The breakfast buffet was amazing that it offered Gluten Free options like bagels, breads, vegan sausages! They had tags to communicate which rooms had pets! The water & fruit in the foyer was a nice touch!

It was very clean abd very well maintained. The front desk people were very helpful and friendly. The morning breakfast was tasty and offered a great variety of choices. Our stay was very comfortable. The price for the room was reasonable, especially for a suite!

Fabulous check in! Room carpeting was pretty badly stained in several spots. Not enough pillows on bed. ‘Hot’ breakfast was pre-made sandwiches.

The check-in clerk was very nice. The bed was clean but the sofa and floor was not clean. Pool was not in service and breakfast was breakfast sandwiches (pre-packaged). I will not stay here again.

The place was under new management from last year. Nice people but customers service is not their forte. Walking in the place smelled like gym socks. There was barely any air conditioning in the lobby or hallways. Stains on the sofa in my room and on the carpet. The breakfast was ice cold and not good. I won’t be back.

The property is clearly in some kind of transition from one owner to the next, and I believe houses some longer term tenants. Some of them were hanging out outside the hotel, smoking, and it looked like they might have been taking shelter from living in the streets. The area outside of the hotel is unkempt and overgrown. Parking there felt unsafe and creepy. The lobby area was a work in progress when I came in, and the room was spacious and had potential, but the carpet was stained and old, as was the furniture. Some of it broken and hanging from a thread. The bed looked like the sheets weren't replaced but just made to look the part. In all, everything in me signaled not to stay. It felt dirty, somewhat noisy, and unsafe. I literally checked out 20 minutes after I checked in and left. Interestingly I checked two more hotels, both in similar condition. I ended sleeping in one that kinda looked better coming in, but the room was pretty horrendous. I don't know what's going on in Peoria - but it's a blatant lie to advertise this hotel as well as the others as legit and charge quite the fee. Do better.
