The Varden - A Self-Service Micro Hotel

Check in was self-serve but easy. Room was just the right size for travelers who are looking to relax after spending all day exploring all that Long Beach has to offer. Perfect location for an event/conference at the convention center. Could have used an under bed storage drawer for clothing and a hook or two in the bathroom to hang towels, but overall a wonderful stay at an adorably restored, historic building.

Communication with Greta was awesome! The room was clean and comfortable.

Nice space for a short stay close to the Long Beach Convention Center, Aquarium of the Pacific and local restaurants/bars.

Greta is a great host, makes you feel in a friendly place

Honestly, the bed was the best thing about my stay. I had the best week of sleep.
