Had not been there since covid but really went downhill. Bar is closed; guy at reception is never at his desk, all kinds of noises that seem to be coming from water pipes. Will not stay there agai.

Got there at 5 and we had to wait for someone to check us in. The tv app didn’t work and was not able to sit and relax before hike the following day. Didn’t mention a pool but there was a sticker saying not to remove towels - towels available at pool. No amenities. Won’t stay here again.

Smell of pot in all the hallways. Some things like coffee, clock, phone were missing. No one in office and no way to reach anyone if needed. Will not stay there again

Hotel is overpriced and offers no amenities for a cost per night at the rate of hotels in larger areas. Maintenance of room interiors over time has fallen behind and needs major overhaul. I will not stay here again.

I chose Pamola because they allowed cancellation up to 2 days before our stay which was important because we were hiking Katahdin and possibly had to change plans due to weather. The service was fine. They supplied a microwave and fridge at our request. There was no coffee maker or coffee in the lobby. Very few options for food in the area other than the attached chinese restaurant. The room was clean but very dated. the bathroom door wouldn't close. Beds were comfortable and clean. Loud people partying outside downstairs, very loud air conditioner, and plumbing. If you just need a no frills place to lay your head and can sleep through noise, this place is fine.

It took me 30 min to figure out wall switch needed to be turned on for tv, didn't realize there was no daily maid service, furniture needed a good dusting, huge insect living in drawer, not sure if it was a cockroach or something else.slammed shut in a hurry

This motel is well worn and not been kept up. It’s dark, dingy and marginal accommodation. Traveling solo it was ok but the bathroom is from 1970’s. Capet is tied and coming up In places. Wall paper is coming off the wall. Musty and dark best describes the room I had. Bed was comfortable and clean sheets and towels limited lights plugs. The small fridge and microwave shared one lug while the a/c unit used the other. For $120/night I expect much better. This is a $70 dollar room. Oh and the doors, locks and keys are questionable. (All beat up and bearly functional).

I arrived at about 6 o’clock. The office is already closed, but she did leave a phone number to call which I did and she did call me right back. She left the key in the room for me so I could at least get in the rooms were a little bit of a letdown. They were very dirty musty. The bed is one of those foam mattresses so I basically got no sleep shower had no pressure. When I went to check out in the morning, I left at about 805 and there was still known in the office so I just left my key on the wall. I don’t think I would stay back here again.

Old motor lodge in economically depressed area, AC did not work well, no screens on window, just outdated - the kind of place you stay at when passing through, put your head down and leave the next morning - that is what I did after a week of hiking at Mt Katahdin so it lived up to expectation

I want to start by saying that i have been coming to the Pamola since the 90\'s and i have seen it death spiral since. When we arrived there were "Poperty AUCTION" signs all over the front of the establishment, we went to check in and the office area was abandoned, there was a sign that said to go to the restaurant, which was closed and abandoned also, there was a phone number to call, nobody answered at first and when he did he said he\'d be right there 20 minutes later (96 degree heat) he showed up and told us to pay no attention to the signage, "The property was sold". It breaks my heart to see the state of the Pamola in Millinocket.

This is an old-fashioned motel. It's pretty dated and lacks modern amenities. However, it was clean, convenient, the bed was comfortable and Chris, the owner, was extremely responsive. If you find yourself in Millinocket, I would definitely recommend it.

Had not been there since covid but really went downhill. Bar is closed; guy at reception is never at his desk, all kinds of noises that seem to be coming from water pipes. Will not stay there agai.

Smell of pot in all the hallways. Some things like coffee, clock, phone were missing. No one in office and no way to reach anyone if needed. Will not stay there again

Hotel is overpriced and offers no amenities for a cost per night at the rate of hotels in larger areas. Maintenance of room interiors over time has fallen behind and needs major overhaul. I will not stay here again.

I chose Pamola because they allowed cancellation up to 2 days before our stay which was important because we were hiking Katahdin and possibly had to change plans due to weather. The service was fine. They supplied a microwave and fridge at our request. There was no coffee maker or coffee in the lobby. Very few options for food in the area other than the attached chinese restaurant. The room was clean but very dated. the bathroom door wouldn't close. Beds were comfortable and clean. Loud people partying outside downstairs, very loud air conditioner, and plumbing. If you just need a no frills place to lay your head and can sleep through noise, this place is fine.

No hair dryer. Had to ask for Wi-Fi password as there was no information in the room. No coffee - anywhere, though there is an office, tavern and restaurant on the property. Comfy bed.

Roaches in the room, floor dirty and sticky, ac filthy,crack in door to patio was large enough to see out of. Bar and restaurant had not been open in years.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the carpet looked fairly new. However, one window was cracked and broken and wasn't capable of being locked. The room was extremely outdated and there was much noise in the adjoining room.

This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. The wallpaper was peeling off, the entire building was dilapidated, and they clearly have not updated anything since the 70's at best. The bathroom fan did not work, there were only a few towels of very poor quality, and no bath mat. The fact that it cost $100+ a night is absurd, they should have paid me to stay here. There was no staff onsite, so no way to get more towels etc. Don't stay here.

For a night stop over while traveling, it was fine. Unit was clean, bed was comfortable, shower was hot. Cost was a lot lower than others nearby. No amenities to speak of, no info provided about wifi.

Ice machine was great, hot water really hot. Those were the hi lites. Bed was very soft, clean, everything very dated. Zero staff on site for the 2 nights we were there. No Wi-Fi since no staff to tell us what password was . Weirdest place ever

Very outdated. The bar was attached to the facility, so there was a couple of inebriated folks in the hallway. Would not recommend this place at all!
