We stayed five days in the Comfort Inn in Durango, and we had a pleasant stay there. We stayed in a king suite. The room was “divided” into a bedroom and a living area with a couch and desk. We had a tv in the “bedroom” and one in the “living” area. The hotel is older but well maintained and very clean. Doug, who was at the front desk when we checked in, was very accommodating and helpful. Then, later in the week, when we needed a few items replaced in our room, it was Doug who, once again, helped us and brought the items to our room.

Breakfast was appalling. When we arrived, there was no scrambled egg, sausages, hash browns, milk, or juice. When the scrambled egg, sausages, hash browns were replenished they were delivered in a plastic bag, and had not been heated at all, On top of this the waffle machines were out of service, as they had not been cleaned for some time, This was a shame as the rest of the hotel was pretty decent. On our trip, we stayed in a number of Comfort Inns, and all of the others provided a proper breakfast, that was actually cooked on site.
