Always have a lovely stay at the Crown. The breakfast cooked to order is lovely. All of the different sitting areas in the hotel are quirky and well furnished to sit for a drink/coffee or just for a chat, or you can help complete the current jigsaw that is on the go. The pool etc is good and if you choose to forgo your room clean they leave additional supplies in a paper bag on the handle of your door so you don't go short of tea/coffee etc. The bathrooms are a bit dated but very clean with nice toiletries The staff were all lovely and accommodating

Room was a big disappointment. Dark, Dismal, wallpaper falling off the wall. Bathroom was awful, Lino on floor, mold on tiles, set in the 50’s. That was the executive room. Goodness knows what the standard rooms were like. Bed wasn’t. Dry comfy and the pillows were like bricks. I’ll not be returning anytime soon.

Lovely stay for our golden anniversary celebration very help staff in all departments .I enjoyed the spa facilities and friendliness of people in the hotel who also helped us celebrate by sharing a drink with us would recommend hotel to friends Thank you
