Victoria Inn

Only guests in the hotel during a rainy Thursday. Hotel is undergoing some refurbishment. Kamila and Paul were lovely hosts and made sure we were well catered for. No food at the pub but options were provided to us for evening meal and breakfast. Powerful shower on the top floor and bed was comfortable. Perfect for our 1 night stay and would use again.

I stayed at the Victoria Inn as my midway stop on my C2C ride from Whitehaven to Tynemouth. The location was perfect and I was really well looked after by the owners. I had my dinner and breakfast at the Inn and both were great. I really enjoyed my burger from the Disco Burger Bar! The owners were able to offer me a secure location to store my bike so I would definitely recommend the Victoria Inn as a location to use on a cycling trip.

A very warm and genuine welcome on arrival. The room was perfectly adequate for my needs, nice double bed with views over the rooftops of the historic town centre and over to the moors. Delicious cooked-to-order breakfast.

As good as it gets

Didn’t know had booked room with shared bathroom as not easy to find on Hotels.com. It is there but in more info otherwise room &owners and breakfast were great
