White Hart Hotel by Greene King Inns

Town Centre nearby. Sainsburys 4 minute walk away. Hotel room fine for my needs, with shower and tv. As it is a pub the noise was very loud until after 11, but I've stayed here before so I was aware of this. Breakfast very good with a selection of buffet food and cooked meals. Staff very helpful. Price good for two nights, and by booking breakfast at the same time I saved quite a bit. Could do with a lot more milk sachets in the room, but a member of staff did get me a jug of milk and more tea bags when I asked. As I stay here to see family who live around the corner, I will definitely stay again. Decent priced hotel.

Noisiest room I've ever been in. Could hear everything from neighbours... all night, and the glass recycling being picked up at 5:30am. Shower was good, and bed itself comfy.

Near to Chelmsford races staff friendly.my son's room was modern clean better than mine and my husband's ours was run down bit dirty

Staff check in couldn't have been better, comfortable beds and room, excellent breakfast.
