Lovely, extremely quiet, dog friendly property with immaculate grounds and facilities. No air conditioning in the building made it hot in the night but that was known when booking. We will definitely go back!

The staff were lovely and the hotel garden was gorgeous and surrounded by beautiful woodlands. My room was clean and comfy. Shame they don't offer meals other than breakfast.

Desperately in need of some TLC, with threadbare carpets and tired decor. Public areas were not particularly clean. Bedrooms clean, with comfortable beds. Dog friendly and a good position for walking.

Absolutely lovely hotel. It’s quite a long drive from the main road, but what a lovely drive. Through trees. It is a quiet hotel. Large car park. The staff were lovely and could not be more helpful. The breakfast was very nice. Plenty to choose from and fresh for all it was only a continental breakfast. I would happily stay there again

A delightful venue, where we were well looked after and perfect for a relaxing family trip with our dog. The staff were very accommodating, and patient with our dog who had a few barky moments! The beautiful garden was perfect to exercise our son and the dog, which was also ideal, and contributed to a restful sleep in an amazing bed. Only gripe was the shower, bit of a krypton factor scenario to get it to work properly, and the pressure was still poor. Otherwise lovely place, in a perfect location for a walk to Burley, or drive to wider New Forest locations.

Beautiful location!! We loved the birdsong and secluded area…still only a 10 minute walk to the pub so it was perfect Room was clean with a nice comfy bed overall it was great!

We wanted to stay in Burley for a night & found this little gem. The hotel is beautiful & set in a quiet part of the forest, only a few minutes drive from the center of Burley. The room was well equipped & comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed the stay and the staff were super feiendly was an added bonus to have ab enclosed garden and lots of other dogs for our pooch to play with.

The room was not a twin as we had booked, but we decided not to let this affect our stay. However the room was dirty and tatty. The toilet blocked and flooded the room. We had to move hotels, however they only had a room for one night. So for our second night we were sent back. The room we were given was dark and dirty and so sadly we cut our break short and left.

Lovely location. Staff were freindly and helpfull. Towels didnt need changing as much as they were. Breakfast was nice but would have been nice to have full breakfast option and info about breakfast times in room

Hotel was lovely. Staff very welcoming and room was spacious, clean and bed was comfy. Location was perfect for New Forest exploring. Only downside was because it’s pet friendly there was a dog and a noisy owner next door to me that were loud. Not the hotels fault so I’ve not marked them down, but something to consider if you’re sensitive to noise.

If I could rate our stay 10000/10 I would. Staff friendliness and kindness went above and beyond. The cleanliness of the hotel and the room was impressive and the bed made us feel like sleeping on a cloud. Breakfast was lovely as well. Also it’s a 15 minute walk to Burley Village. My cousin and I loved our stay at Moorhill House!

Misleading as said bed and breakfast but then didn’t include breakfast. There was no hot water so cold showers. Staff were friendly and couldn’t fault them just don’t think it was good value for money with what we paid v’s the comfort of our stay

The child bunk beds did not have a good enough side bars for the top bunk. Our 5 yr old granddaughter could off easily fallen out during the night. Otherwise the hotel was just lovely. Quiet and in beautiful surroundings.

A lovely atmosphere and staff are very accomodation. Rooms are large. Apparently they want to refurbish the hotel in November. I hope they keep the same feel to the hotel. We will definitely be going back.

It’s a great location, beautiful setting. We had a great stay and staff were friendly and helpful. It was very hot as heating was on constant 😊 it was a shame the bar wasn’t open for the evening but we would stay again

Great service on check in. Super friendly and helpful staff. Just be aware that they only serve breakfast and if you’re looking to have dinner you will either need to bring your own or make sure to have dinner booked somewhere. Everything else was spot on and the setting is magical

My Daughter and i had a pleasant weekend at Moorhill House Hotel. The only slight disappointment was not being able to get a evening meal. Nice grounds and very quiet. Great base for exploring the New Forest and surrounding area.

Beautiful location!! We loved the birdsong and secluded area…still only a 10 minute walk to the pub so it was perfect Room was clean with a nice comfy bed overall it was great!

We wanted to stay in Burley for a night & found this little gem. The hotel is beautiful & set in a quiet part of the forest, only a few minutes drive from the center of Burley. The room was well equipped & comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

If I could rate our stay 10000/10 I would. Staff friendliness and kindness went above and beyond. The cleanliness of the hotel and the room was impressive and the bed made us feel like sleeping on a cloud. Breakfast was lovely as well. Also it’s a 15 minute walk to Burley Village. My cousin and I loved our stay at Moorhill House!

Set in a lovely setting in Burley. Staff were very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. Only downside was having no restaurant on site, but we took a short walk into Burley and found a nice pub. Would recommend

The staff were lovely and the hotel garden was gorgeous and surrounded by beautiful woodlands. My room was clean and comfy. Shame they don't offer meals other than breakfast.

My Daughter and i had a pleasant weekend at Moorhill House Hotel. The only slight disappointment was not being able to get a evening meal. Nice grounds and very quiet. Great base for exploring the New Forest and surrounding area.

Great service on check in. Super friendly and helpful staff. Just be aware that they only serve breakfast and if you’re looking to have dinner you will either need to bring your own or make sure to have dinner booked somewhere. Everything else was spot on and the setting is magical

Lovely location. Staff were freindly and helpfull. Towels didnt need changing as much as they were. Breakfast was nice but would have been nice to have full breakfast option and info about breakfast times in room

Misleading as said bed and breakfast but then didn’t include breakfast. There was no hot water so cold showers. Staff were friendly and couldn’t fault them just don’t think it was good value for money with what we paid v’s the comfort of our stay

Absolutely lovely hotel. It’s quite a long drive from the main road, but what a lovely drive. Through trees. It is a quiet hotel. Large car park. The staff were lovely and could not be more helpful. The breakfast was very nice. Plenty to choose from and fresh for all it was only a continental breakfast. I would happily stay there again

Good value for money, breakfast could do with an upgrade. But other than that we were very please with the family room. And the staff was nice and welcomming.

Room was very clean and had everything we needed. Bathroom was very small but sufficient. All the staff from check in to bar staff and restaurant staff were fantastic . Restaurant meal was lovely too .

Stunning! My only regret is that I did not arrive early enough to enjoy the property fully. Beautifully decorated, superb staff and gorgeous grounds. There were ponies on the drive outside and you are a stones throw from Burley and the delightful New Forest. Highly recommend!

Mixed feelings. I visited 18 years ago for a wedding & it's clear a lot of money has been invested in the public areas. Overall, the service was excellent, with friendly & welcoming staff throughout.My only criticism of the service was check-in. I completely understand rooms may not be ready before 3pm, but it would be nice if reception checked rather than automatically assuming they won't be available.The location is fantastic for walking in the New Forest, & Burley is a lovely village nearby for a drink or a stroll.Unfortunately, the room was disappointing. I booked a cosy room, so I expected it to be small, but the lack of character & poor design were the main issues. The bathroom was tiny, with the sink located in the bedroom rather than the en-suite! There was nowhere practical to put toiletries, no wall-mounted toilet roll holder, & the overall layout felt badly thought out.The room door was also difficult to open & close & required slamming, with an alarm sounding if it wasn't fully shut. This was inconvenient and seemed like a safety concern.On the positive side, dinner was excellent. The food was very good, the service was warm and efficient, and my husband particularly enjoyed his main course. Breakfast was more mixed. Although a mini cooked breakfast was available, paying around £20 for one egg, one sausage, half a rasher of bacon and tea felt poor value.Overall, great location, friendly staff and good food, but the room & breakfast pricing need improvement.

Just had a relaxing stay in this hidden gem. The staff were all very friendly. Our room was beautifully decorated with a wildlife forest theme and had the comfiest king size bed. We visit the New Forest each year and would definitely return to this lovely hotel.
