The rooms are a little small, and could use a little updating. It was not badly out of date, but there were just some minor things that could use a little improvement. The parking is extremely tight and it’s one lane that is used for both the entrance and the exit off of a very busy street which could present a hazard. The staff was lovely. The breakfast was great, and the beds were comfortable.

On the good side this hotel was very clean, had ample parking, and is located very near some great high-end shopping. On the downside the rooms were very small. The desk was so small you could not even have a notebook computer open on it and they had no other area in the hotel where you could work. The shower is also only two feet wide.

It was a terrible experience for me and my girlfriend! There was no fridge, no microwaves in the room. The room looked totally different from the pictures. Parking lot very not convenient for a certain amount of cars, the entrance is also the way out, crazy dangerous. After all, customer service was a disaster. I not recommending this space to no one.

Parking was terrible, crowded, and there was a large broken hotel sign in the way of our spot. We damaged our car on it. The staff was non-communicative and rude. They dud not answer the phone when I called twice about a screaming child and parent across the hall. I would never choose this hotel again.

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Management was rude and obnoxious. When I checked in, I was given a very small room, which I have videotaped to show how small and inconvenient this room was. The bathroom with filthy, toilet was not flushed and the sink cat hair in it. The room smelled. I will never return to this hotel. I am very surprised that this hotel carries the name Holiday Inn express.

When I saw that the ratings are 7 I couldn't understand why, when I arrived at the hotel I was surprised at how well maintained it is, how clean and modern the rooms and the amenities of the hotel, I didn't use the breakfast but everything else about the hotel I loved, I recommend it and would definitely go back.

Coffee pot in room not working , no refrigerator, Had to be moved from my first room because of terrible odor in room, second I was given smelled normal. I would have liked some compensation , but hotel attendant said I would have to go through Expedia. Staff was pleasant, hotel was convenient location, breakfast was fine.

DO NOT stay at this hotel. We had pre-paid for the room through Expedia. When we checked in they asked us for our credit card to hold "for any incidentals". They then charged us again, not once but twice, for amounts well exceeding our already prepaid Expedia rate. We are still wrestling to have those charges removed. The room is listed as standard King and is absolutely tiny, hardly enough space to get around the bed. The shower and vanity are tiny. Awful experience.

This room has very poor sound insulation. First, the windows do not block noise well, and the sound of cars passing outside is very loud. Second, whenever someone walks on the floor above, a loud noise comes from the ceiling of this room. I would never stay in this hotel again. The manager was rude and argumentative. They do not allow guests to leave their bags at the hotel after check out, so just know that if you are checking out but need somewhere to store your luggage for the rest of the day, this is something that they will not accommodate. As the manager told me, once you check out , you are no longer a Guest of the hotel and they cannot help you with anything. And there were unwilling to find a solution. This guy took the “hospitable” out of “hospitality”. Never again.

Upon arriving I requested that my ice packs be stored overnight in the hotel's freezer so that I could make it through the next day without my food spoiling. I have done this at every other Holiday Inn Express and other hotels for years with no issue. For some reason the front desk attendant would not accomodate and refused me. He stated that this presents a concern of potential cross contamination. As a veteran of the foodservice industry for 40 years, I can not understand how putting ice blankets in a sealed bag and in the lowest shelf of a freezer could be made into an issue. It poses no threrat to food safety and offers a small token of hospitality to someone who is traveling and has dietary restrictions. I hope that the staff will be made to be better informed in the future and be more hospiaible.

The lady at the desk was very professional and did her job well. The ladies serving breakfast were friendly and helpful. I was very satisfied with this establishment. Clean, quiet and the staff gave me the impression they liked their job. These are important factors for me returning to a Hotel.

The shower was small and no matter what you do, the water goes out of the shower. But the housekeepers clean up without complaint. A big plus is the hotel is right next to Bryant and Cooper, one of the best steakhouses in NY.

Great place for a quick stop. Friendly staff, clean, great complimentary breakfast! Would definitely go back!

Coffee pot in room not working , no refrigerator, Had to be moved from my first room because of terrible odor in room, second I was given smelled normal. I would have liked some compensation , but hotel attendant said I would have to go through Expedia. Staff was pleasant, hotel was convenient location, breakfast was fine.

The lady at the desk was very professional and did her job well. The ladies serving breakfast were friendly and helpful. I was very satisfied with this establishment. Clean, quiet and the staff gave me the impression they liked their job. These are important factors for me returning to a Hotel.

Breakfast staff were extremely nice. Upon check in they said breakfast goes until ten and didn’t mention it ends at 9:30 on weekdays. At 9:30 the breakfast staff let me in anyway and brought milk so my kid could have cereal. Housekeeping seemed good too, unobtrusive, rooms were clean. However the room smells of mold and my bag now inexplicably smells very strongly of mold too just after staying there. Bag was several thousand dollars so will have to get it to a dry cleaner if the smell doesn’t dissipate soon. The room was also extremely tiny. The AC buttons have mostly fallen off so it’s hard to control. Night staff are friendly. Day staff are remarkably unfriendly. When asked why breakfast was closed the front desk staffer rolled her eyes and looked up from her phone for just long enough to point at a (NOT super obvious) sign saying weekdays it ends at 9:30. Several hours later we asked for napkins and were told, “uh right there (points ten feet away) right in front of your EYES.” (Eye roll) I appreciated the late checkout and was going to leave a good review despite the awful mold but this last time was overkill.

The rooms and washrooms are very tiny and congested other than that the property was nice and the staff was nice too but the breakfast, everyday they're short on something and you've to ask them to bring the stuff
