Firefly Cove by SoCharm | Luxury home w/Pool & Hot Tub & NEW Game Room | Sleeps 16

We truly enjoyed our stay here. 9 family members. The house was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The grounds well maintained. Lovely views. Plenty of bedroom linens, towels and drawer/closet space. We kept our lunch supplies in the downstairs kitchen which was handy for all. There's a lot of poolside furniture. The temperature was perfect. 5 day boat rental was easy,There were cons: By the end of the week, the pool/hot tub had a significant amount of algae. They said they'd take care of it when we left. Reasonable not to shock it while we were there, but it reduced pool/hot tub access by 2 days. The pool lining is super sharp. Lots of toes, fingers and elbows were scraped. Bring pool shoes, No toiletries provided. If you like to cook on vacation (we do) bring sharp cooking knives and leftover containers. Pantry space/refrigerator is small. I wouldn't buy more than 3 days of fresh food at a time if you have a large group. One significant issue--there is no flat access to the water level. This should DEFINITELY be addressed and pictured on the Southern Charm property description. Manageable access to top dock. Then there is a 20 degree slanted plank to be traversed to get to the narrow 17 stairs and down to the water. Our daughter is partially handicapped. Getting her to the boat and back was treacherous so we had only 1 full-family boat ride.Most people would love it here. We won't be back due to the unstated and significant mobility challenges.

Amazing fun filled vacation. We love Lake Norman. Firefly cove is a beautiful place. Lots of room with beautiful balcony views of the pool and lake.

beautiful property, well maintained -- very quiet area of the lake. we went with two families and had a terrific stay.

We had a GREAT STAY at Firefly Cove!! It had everything we needed for our group of 12!! The view of Lake Norman was BEAUTIFUL! Many of us spent every morning and evening on the deck looking out as the sun came up and went down! We would definitely stay here again!!

We were a group of women in their 40’s looking for a relaxing weekend. We had plenty of space, enjoyed the pool and rented a boat to use while here. It was a gorgeous view to wake up to each morning and had a blast at the house. Thanks for great memories!
