This property provided everything we needed for our family. The cabin has plenty of space for our large group. We enjoyed the screened in deck with a lovely view, the patio outside the master bedroom, the downstairs theater room & game room, and the kitchen area. The kitchen has just about everything we needed. We had little ones who loved the private beach area with a shallow entry and crystal clear water. The pontoon was great, too! Kelly was responsive and helpful. We look forward to going back!

This is a beautiful property with the space, bedrooms and amenities that our large family needed. Lots of parking space for trucks and boats. Fishing on the Fishhook river and lake are above average. Local lakes offer other great fishing opportunities.

Very nice place. Since the weather and fishing were not great, we did get some, but the house was able to keep the younger crowd entertained. The basketball, theater, billard, & darts were very well used.

Beautiful place, nice atmosphere, everyone absolutely loved it for our anniversary family party. Kitchen was great. Loved the movie room, game room, bonfire pit, and quite a few used the kayaks. Super great place!! We definitely would come again.

We had such a wonderful time at this spacious home! We were 18, 10 adults and 8 children. There was something for everyone to enjoy! The young ones especially liked the beach area and enjoyed fishing right off the dock! We also spent a lot of time on the pontoon. We had beautiful weather all week, so that helped. There is such a big yard! We enjoyed playing yard games in the big yard and also the bonfire area in the evenings. Kelly was so kind and quick to respond whenever we had a question. We would definitely stay here again!

Thank you for a wonderful week! This VRBO is a great place to gather with family or friends. The living areas and bedrooms are clean, spacious, and so accommodating! The kitchen is well-stocked, bedroom and closets have hooks for clothes and drawers, flat surfaces, etc. to store things. The game room and movie room are perfect for hours of fun. There’s a basketball hoop outside and a volleyball net… basketballs and volleyballs are right there for our use too… which prompted us to notice how this owner had pretty much thought of everything! … and we were reminded of that often during the week when we looked for something…. it seemed we always found what we needed.:) (even sand toys down by the beach!) The big lawn space was especially nice too for corn hole tournaments, kick ball, baseball, frisbee, etc! Great fishing off the great dock for little ones wanting to fish. And we so appreciated being able to leave our boat in one of the available slips all week. If there was a “6 or 7…or 10 star” rating to give this place, we would! But since there isn’t, we will give it the best we can, and lock it in for the 5-star. :) It was absolutely perfect for us… can’t wait to come back again. Thank you again!

The property is as it appears in the pictures, nothing atrocious is hidden like with other rentals I have paid for. The kayaks were enjoyed by all, even in the chilly October weather. The piano (a really nice keyboard), pool table, and dart board were utilized every day, several times a day. Overall, it was exactly what I was expecting to get.

Our family of 16 (ages 7 to 68) stayed for a week in July. The home is exactly as described and the kitchen is a dream. The second refrigerator downstairs was an added bonus, as was the rain shower heads. We rented the pontoon for 3 days. Kelly directed us to a sandbar in Fishhook Lake. It was a great place for the kids to swim and play in the water. In the evenings, we took "adults only sunset cruises." The home theater was a hit with everyone, especially the teens. Kelly was quick to repond to texts and answered all our questions. He was very easy to work with. There are a ton of things to do in the Park Rapids area. We drove to Itasca State Park to see the Mississippi headwaters, drove go carts and water bumper boats at Evergreen Fun Park, played golf, went shopping downtown, and of course, did some fishing. And we actually caught some!

Second time we have rented the house. Family get together for 13 of us. Plenty of rooms. Kitchen area and huge island very accommodative for our group size. We also rented the pontoon which was enjoyable on the lake. It was a rainy week so the theatre room was a big hit with the family. Kelly was easy to work with, which added to the experience.

This place is amazing. We had a larger group, and there were plenty of bedrooms to choose from and numerous bathrooms. The kitchen was spacious, clean and accommodating. My group consisted of 8 people, and we had an amazing time congregating around the kitchen island, enjoying morning lake views from the living room, and we especially enjoyed watching a movie on the huge projection screen in the family room. We stayed in the off season, so our group did not take in the lakeside attractions, but this property definitely would have been amazing to enjoy in the summer. The large lot and lakefront area looked inviting and relaxing. It’s a perfect distance from town. It was private, yet local! Thanks for a great family getaway!

Great place to take the whole family. All 19 of us were accommodated nicely and there were plenty for the kids to do as well. They especially loved the theater room. The property was nice and clean when we arrived. Kelly had great communication with me the whole time and always replied to my questions within a few hours of asking. Everyone is already talking about coming back for the summers now!

This is a great place! We loved the separation of the bedrooms upstairs so we could put the younger ones down for naps and still spend time in the main area. Beautiful kitchen, porches, and views. The activities downstairs were a hit with all, and the town itself is really cute! The only thing I’d suggest is to bring a few extra blankets, as some of the rooms were hard to adjust at night.

This property was wonderful. It has a large and fully stocked kitchen, very comfortable beds, really nice showers and huge televisions. Also, the little things (like the electronic dart board) actually work. It's a very spacious house with a beautiful view. Everything was exactly as advertised. Communication with the owner was very good.

Was a great place to get together with old friends. Everything we needed with plenty of room for everyone to relax. The space was well appointed. It was nice the way the bedrooms were set up. People could sleep in, get up early, take a nap, cook, etc without disturbing others. While groups are great, all the couples appreciated the ability to get away for downtime also. We will probably be back next year!!

This home was perfect for our group of friends! It is spacious and well-appointed, with everything in the kitchen we could possibly need, plenty of bath towels and comfortable bedding. Each bedroom allows for individualized cooling, making it perfect for this group of "I'm cold, I'm hot" friends. The owner was extremely gracious, promptly answering my questions even though I was oblivious to the information posted in the house and was asking questions that were clearly answered in information sheets at the front door and in the kitchen. When we did run into one minor need (dishwasher detergent) he delivered a supply immediately. We couldn't have asked for a better host! All in all, I would highly recommend this VRBO and should our group gather again in Park Rapids, I suspect we will want to locate here again.

Great house on an excellent location. I was surpised on how well the rooms were sound proof. We could put a baby to bed upstairs and the adults and teens could make noise down in the game/theater room without disturbing the young ones.
Great house on an excellent location. I was surpised on how well the rooms were sound proof. We could put a baby to bed upstairs and the adults and teens could make noise down in the game/theater room without disturbing the young ones.

This property provided everything we needed for our family. The cabin has plenty of space for our large group. We enjoyed the screened in deck with a lovely view, the patio outside the master bedroom, the downstairs theater room & game room, and the kitchen area. The kitchen has just about everything we needed. We had little ones who loved the private beach area with a shallow entry and crystal clear water. The pontoon was great, too! Kelly was responsive and helpful. We look forward to going back!

Our group had an awesome stay! There were lots of activities to do to keep us entertained inside and out. Kelly was very communicative and the check in/out process was smooth. Will recommend this booking to anyone looking!

We had such a wonderful time at this spacious home! We were 18, 10 adults and 8 children. There was something for everyone to enjoy! The young ones especially liked the beach area and enjoyed fishing right off the dock! We also spent a lot of time on the pontoon. We had beautiful weather all week, so that helped. There is such a big yard! We enjoyed playing yard games in the big yard and also the bonfire area in the evenings. Kelly was so kind and quick to respond whenever we had a question. We would definitely stay here again!

Our family of 16 (ages 7 to 68) stayed for a week in July. The home is exactly as described and the kitchen is a dream. The second refrigerator downstairs was an added bonus, as was the rain shower heads. We rented the pontoon for 3 days. Kelly directed us to a sandbar in Fishhook Lake. It was a great place for the kids to swim and play in the water. In the evenings, we took "adults only sunset cruises." The home theater was a hit with everyone, especially the teens. Kelly was quick to repond to texts and answered all our questions. He was very easy to work with. There are a ton of things to do in the Park Rapids area. We drove to Itasca State Park to see the Mississippi headwaters, drove go carts and water bumper boats at Evergreen Fun Park, played golf, went shopping downtown, and of course, did some fishing. And we actually caught some!

Second time we have rented the house. Family get together for 13 of us. Plenty of rooms. Kitchen area and huge island very accommodative for our group size. We also rented the pontoon which was enjoyable on the lake. It was a rainy week so the theatre room was a big hit with the family. Kelly was easy to work with, which added to the experience.

This home was perfect for our group of friends! It is spacious and well-appointed, with everything in the kitchen we could possibly need, plenty of bath towels and comfortable bedding. Each bedroom allows for individualized cooling, making it perfect for this group of "I'm cold, I'm hot" friends. The owner was extremely gracious, promptly answering my questions even though I was oblivious to the information posted in the house and was asking questions that were clearly answered in information sheets at the front door and in the kitchen. When we did run into one minor need (dishwasher detergent) he delivered a supply immediately. We couldn't have asked for a better host! All in all, I would highly recommend this VRBO and should our group gather again in Park Rapids, I suspect we will want to locate here again.

Great place to take the whole family. All 19 of us were accommodated nicely and there were plenty for the kids to do as well. They especially loved the theater room. The property was nice and clean when we arrived. Kelly had great communication with me the whole time and always replied to my questions within a few hours of asking. Everyone is already talking about coming back for the summers now!

This is a great place! We loved the separation of the bedrooms upstairs so we could put the younger ones down for naps and still spend time in the main area. Beautiful kitchen, porches, and views. The activities downstairs were a hit with all, and the town itself is really cute! The only thing I’d suggest is to bring a few extra blankets, as some of the rooms were hard to adjust at night.

This is our second time in the Park Rapids area and all 16 voted to return in the future! Our email communication with Kelly during the process of booking and prior to arrival was excellent. By the time we got there, we were all ready to have a great time with no concerns or questions. Everything was as stated. In fact, except for going to the headwaters of the Mississippi at Itasca State Park (well worth the pretty drive) and to pick up more groceries and fishing worms, we spent our time on the pretty property/river/ lake/home. What a perfect place with so many activities/amenities for ALL ages! It was exactly what we all wanted for our lake vacation. Thank you and God bless!

This is a beautiful property with the space, bedrooms and amenities that our large family needed. Lots of parking space for trucks and boats. Fishing on the Fishhook river and lake are above average. Local lakes offer other great fishing opportunities.

The property is as it appears in the pictures, nothing atrocious is hidden like with other rentals I have paid for. The kayaks were enjoyed by all, even in the chilly October weather. The piano (a really nice keyboard), pool table, and dart board were utilized every day, several times a day. Overall, it was exactly what I was expecting to get.

This place is amazing. We had a larger group, and there were plenty of bedrooms to choose from and numerous bathrooms. The kitchen was spacious, clean and accommodating. My group consisted of 8 people, and we had an amazing time congregating around the kitchen island, enjoying morning lake views from the living room, and we especially enjoyed watching a movie on the huge projection screen in the family room. We stayed in the off season, so our group did not take in the lakeside attractions, but this property definitely would have been amazing to enjoy in the summer. The large lot and lakefront area looked inviting and relaxing. It’s a perfect distance from town. It was private, yet local! Thanks for a great family getaway!

My large family loves this place! (14 peeps, ages 6-65) They enjoy all being together under the same roof instead of separate cabins. Rented the pontoon for the week, Had a Taylor Swift era tour viewing with the grandkids in the theater room on a rainy morning. I caught a huge bass of the dock, and the grandkids caught multiple pan fish and we're entertained for hours The owner has everything you need! We missed coming here last year because the timeframe was already booked. But, we are on top of the game for next year! My only suggestion would be to bring a few containers with lids for leftovers and maybe some ziploc bags. Thanks for another week of amazing memories!

We had a great stay and would highly recommend this property to others! The home is not only very unique, but it was also spacious enough for our large group! There was plenty of space for activities, which made this the perfect place for our family! The heartland is just a short ride from the property so we got to enjoy a few hours on our sleds as well! Park Rapids is also conveniently located so we were able to spend a day shopping and eating great food in town!

This home was the perfect place for our family to gather for a winter long-weekend getaway. We had 15 people ranging in age from 7 months to 73 years old, and the house accommodated everyone beautifully. With seven bedrooms and three bathrooms, it’s set up perfectly for families.We enjoy cooking homemade meals together, and the kitchen was exceptionally well stocked—there wasn’t a single item we found ourselves missing. The icing on the cake was the sledding hill. We brought plastic sleds, which worked well, and Kelly even texted to let us know there were tubes we could use next door, which took the fun to another level.The game room was also a hit. I learned I won't enter a dart tournament anytime soon. LOLWe’ve already booked the home again for 2027 and hope this becomes our annual gathering spot.Kelly was quick to respond to any questions - great communication.
