Best Western Westminster Inn

Great budget option, especially considering free parking and free breakfast included . Close and easy ride to the beaches and many restaurant and bars in the area. Staff was very friendly. Quiet, safe and clean, comfy but dated room. Be aware that second floor rooms will have you carrying luggage upstairs - no elevators. Nice smaller pool, spa and putting green area in courtyard, although did not use. Would recommend.

Staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean. Surprised that they had a golf putting area next to the pool.

I love the sliding glass door and table and chairs outside each room. Also loved the bbq. All staff are very nice and helpful.

Bed was huge and comfortable the pillows were amazing. Internet worked great and very convenient to gas stations, stores and restaurants. And the pool and jacuzzi were perfect!

While the breakfast and pool were good, that was one of the dirtiest hotels I’ve ever stayed in! Definitely more like a 1-star in cleanliness. There were urine stains on the walls around the toilet, handprints all over the door, and it was just overall really dirty. The first room they gave us was so dirty I asked if we could move to a clean room. The front desk was very nice and moved us to another room. But that room was just as dirty! I’m honestly not much of a clean freak- just would rather not have sticky doors, mildew on the ceiling, hairs on the floors, and peepee on the walls- but that’s just me… here are some pictures, so you can see for yourself.

The room is not clean and way too old compared to the pictures on the advertising …. It’s misleading. The shower has nowhere to put your soap and shampoo, if you not hold your bar soap in your hand the whole time you take the shower then you have to put them on the floor. Room smells funky and too hot when you walking, it’s will be better if they turn on the air condition ahead so customers didn’t have to deal with the extremely hot room when you walk in. . Saw couple of roaches running in the kitchen. Never come back here again.

Floor was filthy, I walked around barefoot inside my room after checking in and never went outside. The next morning when I took a shower and the shower floor turned black when I ran the water. The beds are not anchored down and every time you sat down on the bed it would move slightly and you had to constantly move it back in place. The air conditioner sounded like a jet engine when running making it difficult to sleep. There was food from previous guest on the coffee tray on the table also. Parking lot and walkway floors were filthy and stained.

The people who work there are nice but it was disgusting in the rooms. I have photos and videos of my stay and you can clearly see dust, dirt, grime, and mold throughout the room. Towels were dirty and stained as were the sheets. I will definitely not stay here again and I'm filing a complaint to get a refund

First thing I noticed in our room, the floor was not cleaned or mopped. There were drops of blood on the floor and on the edge of the sheets which was weird and gross. The door looked unsafe and has a lot of scratches on it. For breakfast, the sausages seemed undercooked. Only good thing I could say is the staff was nice and friendly.

I like the room cleanliness, well lit outside area, friendly staff. I dont like that rooms are cleaned every other day. It would be better if rooms are cleaned on a daily basis, bed made and trash collected daily

This was a clean mid level hotel. Nothing fancy. Nothing wrong. They had more electrical outlets than a lot of hotels which was appreciated. Breakfast was a bit more simple than others, but not bad. The biggest issue was internet. Yes it has free internet, but internet was barely usable. I didn't look around much but I noticed one starlink antenna. Maybe they need more antennas? It wasn't enough. I tried to upload a 200mb file to the cloud and it failed multiple times. It eventually finished after a couple hours. I uploaded one at the airport the next day in a matter of seconds. BW would be better off with dial up internet :-)

The interior of rooms updated to average but property and location felt exposed, I had a room facing the lot and street, definitely dated old converted’70s motel.

The room I had for the night was quite spacious and comfortable. The continental breakfast was nice with a good amount of variety. I appreciated that the front desk was open 24 hours a day so that I was able to check in late no problem. I mainly booked the room to get to Huntington Beach quickly early in the morning for a July 4th BBQ. I can't say what the area immediately around the Best Western was like, but it was close enough to the beach for me.

The property is obviously making an effort to look nice and have nice rooms, but what they really, really need? New mattresses. Holy crap. I could feel the springs when I put my hand on the mattress, it squeaked like crazy, and whatever I saved on the hotel rate, I'm going to have to make up in chiropractic bills. I couldn't use my weighted blanket when I got home because my back hurt so bad.

The area around the motel was okay, although you could hear the traffic outside from inside the room. It was convenient to the highway. The bathroom was less than desirable- the tub flooded, the vent didn’t work properly so the room got incredibly humid and made the floor slippery, and it just felt a little dirty. The bed was very comfortable though. Breakfast was nice and the employees at the hotel were super nice and accommodating. I give them an A . The room could have been nicer though. The pool area looked decent, although we didn’t go in it.

The room was fine, but the walls are incredibly thin. People casually walking on the room above is very audible. Food options are okay. The bathroom is terrible. The toilet was all the way up against the wall when there was PLENTY of space for it to be a comfortable amount of space away from the wall. Not bad overall but the price was a little high all things considered.

Quick, easy check in

I rarely give bad reviews, but this time I needed to. I have been in many hotels but this one was the worst. It definitely needs a renovation! On every aspect ! Also when I was checking in, this lady came in to the office and asked if she could use the restroom, the front desk person told her they were not public restrooms, but anyway he gave her a key and directed her to a room. When we went to our room, the door was open and the lady was using the bathroom! I immediately went back to the front desk and let them know the situation, all he said was: "I thought the lady was with you guys. Now your room is going to be upstairs". That room was horrible!

Gave us a free upgrade! Unexpected, but contributed to a great stay!!! Such friendly staff as well!!! Would stay here again😄

Front desk staff is amazing. Everyone is so friendly. The property is clean, comfortable in a good location, and the breakfast was sufficient. We will definitely stay there again

First off, I like the website but when you get to the place you booked and they tell you there is a $400 deposit when there was nothing saying that was how much it was is very disturbing. The pictures of this place are very deceiving and not worth the money I’m paying. I have no choice but to stay here because we have events this weekend and it’s too late to book anywherelse. The beds are so worn down you sink into them, it smells of waste and moldy laundry and dog poop outside and the tiles in the bathroom are chipped. 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE! Bed was terrible if you laid down on it you immediately feel the box spring under it. The tv volume didn’t work so we called down to the front desk and he came up and changed the batteries twice and said he would be back and he never came back. Like I said we had events so we didn’t follow up till our last day and he gave us a different room 4 doors down but still. It was very inconvenient to say the least. The food options were okay. The housekeepers were sweet but the front desk guy did us dirty by not coming back or giving us a call. Also, you can hear every single car that drives by the hotel. AC worked amazing. 2/10 would not stay here again.

Comfortable rooms. We were expecting housekeeping on one of the days we stayed but unfortunately we did not get that. We had to go to the office for fresh towels and had to empty our garbage in the can by the entrance When asking the clerk on why our room was not cleaned she was annoyed and said someone in our room declined it. Didn’t happen but what can ya do. Also waited over an hour for an iron and ironing board which is not provided in the room. Small annoying inconveniences.

The assistant manager threatened to call the police because I asked to have my shower cleaned for the third time.

It was nice to be away from the hustle of Disney but close enough to enjoy the parks and also close to beaches.

Nice place to stay and convenient location for our planned activities around town. We were Visiting family and attending a convention nearby.

Quiet & clean property and safe location

The Best Western is in an older established neighborhood of Westminster CA and the motel is kept up considering it's age. The price is appropriate for the location and room. The staff was friendly and the basic breakfast was acceptable.

Conveniently located. Service was good, breakfast a plus. Only complaint was the noise from the street and neighbor rooms. Insulation was awful.

I think this property is great! I love walking out to the grass and pool area. There is an amazing selection for breakfast, especially considering the small area.

My wife and I had a date trip and spent 2 nights at this location from 5/4 to 5/6/2024 and we had 2 bad experiences:: - we’re woke up around 4am by a next door room on Sunday night 05/05/2024. Looked like there was a family fight or something. One of the lady was locked out, and she kept screaming. And we couldn’t get back to sleep afterwards. We called the front desk who eventually called the cops. - we ate breakfast at the hotel and kept the plastic wraps in our backpack. As my wife had stomach issues when heading back home, so coincidentally we opened our backpack and found out that all the individual wrapped bakery (Hostess Danish and Svenhard’s) were long expired (4/17, 4/18/2024 etc…). We didn’t expect to eat expired stuffs at any places, mostly at a hotel. If the price includes free expired breakfast, we prefer to pay extra money to eat non-expired.

Location was pretty good, breakfast lacked variety. Waffles were store bought to just warm up. Eating area was very small otherwise pool and lawn area was very clean and kept.
