There were healthy options like yogurt and fruit. I had to park far away from the doors, and it feels a little dark/sketchy at night, but I’ve had no problems in five stays.

Didn't have breakfast. Parking ok.

I received an email after booking that the heated pool was open, when we arrived it was clearly not and hadn't been for a long time. I showed the property the email they sent me and they were surprised that "corporate" had sent it. It was very disappointing as that was one of the reasons we took this very out of the way hotel far from everything in Madison. The rooms were dated (ours still worked on a key) but clean with some very interesting room furniture. Bathroom was odd, the shower was big enough but the shower didn't tilt, so it shot water all over the floor near the the toilet. The breakfast was the best surprise, make your own omelets, biscuits and gravy, waffle and pancake stations, fruit station. Fresh hashbrowns. It was really a great breakfast.

I stayed with my family for a week. It was good. The facilities are cozy. My children enjoyed the pool and the breakfast was great. The cleaning service was super friendly and the reception was also great. I would gladly stay again.

Easy Parking

Breakfast was as great a deal as other reviews commented. The property was clean and maintained. I was amazed to see a functional pool at a hotel at this price point, but ut us likely a draw along with the breakfast. Staff was helpful and friendly. My concerns that people ought to know about is that the property is located in a VERY atypical location with a peculiar access road. It is unusual enough and off the beaten path that I almost expected to see Jack Reacher when I was there. A great value nevertheless. I will return in the future

Every thing was good except that the pool was closed. It was drained and looked like it was being worked on. I actually picked this place for a few dollars more over another hotel because of the pool.

This was one of the worst hotels I've stayed in near Madison. Felt very unsafe. Deadbolts damaged, bulletproof glass in the "lobby." Hallway had mattresses in it, room was extra small, and the bathroom... FULL of mold. Shower was very very dirty and came home with ringworm. Didn't trust eating here. Will not stay again.

The sheets were dirty. Spider and bug in the room. Ice machine had no ice.

I walked in the room. Took two minutes. Saw blood drop stains on the wall, something black on the sheet without even having to peel it back. And, I left, never having spent the night. BTW, if you're going to an event in Madison, it also is convenient to nothing. Next to a landfill on a dead end road. Didn't even ask for a refund, I knew the answer

Pretty outdated property. There was a Toyota Prius on blocks in the parking lot if that tells you anything. Rooms are old and out dated. Beds were terrible. Mattress was worn out and didn’t offer much support. Would be my first choice to stay here again. Very difficult to get to as week.

Was able to book at the last minute. Was surprisingly pretty nice room! Nice looking pool. Downside is the walls are thin! Has to deal with people loudly talking in hallways and stomping their feet above me.

There was an overwhelming smell in hallway and room. Fortunately the window opened and allowed fresh air in all night. Unfortunately freeway noise also came in. No cable tv only streaming.

Worn-out bed metres with loud noise from the metres frame awake up frequently through out the night. We will not stay at this place upon our return back to Canada.

Walls are so thin you can hear the person in the next room breathe. Very noisy and the rooms are in rough shape.

Room did not have any chair to sit on. TV cable not very good. Could not understand TV remote.

The ladies at the front desk were very rude. I got a text asking me to not put trash in the hallway after a delivery driver delivered food and didn’t knock. She automatically assumed it was trash instead of asking and texted me. She also was very unprofessional in her conduct during almost every face to face interaction. It was terrible.

Good place to stay, especially being a budget hotel- it was clean, room was redone except the bathroom. Bed was comfortable. The person who checked me in at night was friendly, courteous, really kind and personable. The breakfast was more than what I expected as there was an omelet station there and most breakfast bars don’t have that anymore. There was confusion though long after checkout though…They have hard keys and when I left (around 7:30 am) no one was at the desk to take my key. I left it in the same spot I checked in at and officially checked out. (A little “bucket” where you would slide things to the other side of the window) Around 11am I was called regarding checkout, a courtesy call reminding that checkout was at 11am. I informed them that I did checkout already and where I left my key, which she confirmed she had. Later that day (around 4:30) I received a text stating I would be charged $25 for not returning the key. I was confused and frustrated of course, which I called and explained that. I was told they never received my key and would be charged for it, however I did push back as I received a verbal confirmation of them having the key earlier in the day. After the call I received a text that apologized about the confusion and that they did in fact have the key. Overall, it’s okay. I told my partner I would stay there again if I was in a pinch, but after the checkout dilemma, I’m not sure if I would or not. It definitely caused a headache.

When we checked in the lady checking us in was extremely rude when our key didn’t work. This location was very confusing to get to.

The Hotel Staff was very accommodating for me on the day I was released from a long hospital stay and I really needed them there for me.

1. Require deposit in cash but no staff at front desk when checkout. 2. Not easy to find the location.

This place owes me a refund. Not only was the staff rude and could not speak english but they would not let my daughter leave her dog in the car so we could not stay and I have not received a refund for the charges.

Location is off the beaten path, an older building that is well kept but not modernized. It was worth the money we paid to stay there.

the property offers a no-frills, inexpensive, but high-value proposition. It's relatively close to most of Madison, but for half the cost of other options. We felt like we got a good deal for the money, and will probably stay here again. The location was quiet and we slept well.

Dont let the location fool you. This was a great motel for what i needed. Convenient to where i was working this week. A bit hard to find. Yes it is by a landfill...on Landfill drive. But it was quiet. Very clean. Bed was comfortable. Water was hot for the shower & the people worki g were accommodating. Great price for what I needed.

BREAKFAST was AMAZING!! Completely makes up for the squeaky bed..lol They are definitely doing some updating and remodeling but was cheap and served its purpose Breakfast was so good and was make your own omelettes, pancakes, waffle. Had biscuits and gravy, fruir bar, cereal,,rolls an tea, coffee, juice, milk and water available. Will definitely stay here again when out here workking next time. 😉

The breakfast isnt all that great. I went down to eat this morning 12 mins after breakfast started and everything looked half gone or gone already as if they just put out left over from the prior day and nothing was fresh

They no longer had a driveway after the new road construction was finished. We had to drive two miles past and come in on a frontage road. It was located next to a land fill. There was a very small tv with no channels. Only Pluto or foreign language tv was available. Two thirds of the building was rented out to full time residents. The free breakfast was almost fully consumed by the eager full time residents. Some were barefoot and some had socks on. I just wanted some coffee but the dispenser was empty. I came back a few times over the next 90 minutes but it was never refilled. We got a personal key number to get into our room but all the entry doors were locked so if you walked outside you couldn’t get back in unless you went to the other end of the building and went through the lobby. There were nice pictures of the fruit bar online but in reality they were empty each time I checked. Will not return.

Finding the place was hard. No lights of hotel from rd, and when we found it, construction all over. Outside looked questionable. Ck in was ok. (It was more important for receptionist to continue her phone conversation AND take our info). Bed was ok...the heater was loud and kept kicking in all night. The breakfast COULD'VE been great, but almost every player or container was empty. No coffee and 1 juice. A few apples for fruit. It had a good selection with egg omelet, cold and hot cereal, waffle with selection of fruit and toppings, but the fruit was still frozen. Things were dried out. Milk was souring. No one was replenishing items. I won't go back.
