Lake House Gem: Cozy Waterfront Escape

Great house!!! Plan to stay again in the future. The hosts were wonderful responding to questions. Location is beautiful and feels private even though there are neighbors. Highlights were the paddleboards and the hammock. Super relaxing stay!!

We stayed here for a birthday & Mother’s Day weekend, and this home was wonderful for our group of five women. The house is beautifully decorated, but still feels warm, comfortable, and lived-in, in the best way. It never felt overly fancy or like you were afraid to touch anything. It was just peaceful, inviting, and easy to settle into immediately. The 3-bedroom, 2-bath layout was perfect for us, with plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. The bunk room was especially nice because the bunk beds are full-sized and very comfortable, not like typical camp-style bunks. The mattresses were great, and everything was clean and well-kept.The kitchen was one of the highlights for us. It was stocked with everything you would need to cook meals comfortably. It really felt thoughtfully prepared for guests. I especially loved waking up to the lake and birds singing. The view and outdoor atmosphere was incredible. The grounds were perfectly maintained, and we loved being able to walk barefoot in the grass. It was great that although the property has a peaceful country feel, restaurants and stores were still just minutes away. The only small thing I would suggest is possibly adding a Keurig. The standard coffee maker worked, but not cleaned properly. So instant coffee it was. That said, it was a very minor issue. Overall, this home was beautiful, comfortable, peaceful, and exactly what we needed! We truly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay again.

This is the best short term rental we have ever had the opportunity to stay at. The property is extremely clean and well appointed with beautiful furnishings. The view is incredible! The beds are very comfortable and nice. We would love the opportunity to stay here again. Highly recommend this property. You will be so happy you chose to stay here! I know we are:). Thank You!
