Except for the little oops with hot tub when we got there….the stay was excellent. Response time and fix was super. Communication Very responsive. Cabin was very rustic and peaceful. Would recommend new fitted sheet…doesn’t stay tight on bed, otherwise bed was very comfortable. Overall great time…would definitely stay there again

Pros: The area was perfect, secluded yet not too far from Gatlinburg. The Mill was the perfect size for two people with plenty of space. The bathroom was big enough for two people to occupy at the same time. Bedroom was huge with seating and plenty of storage. Kitchen was well stocked with almost everything you'd need for cooking. Decks were spacious and quite soothing with the steam running underneath you. Cons: You have to love the smell of a fire if your going to stay there because the fireplace smell was overwhelming inside. The shower is very spacious but a handheld shower head would have been better for woman. The bed was very firm if that's what you like.The hot tub jets were rusty and did not function so we opted not to use it. When we arrived, the ac wasn't working properly. Notified owners and they offered to send out handyman. We declined because it was cool enough outside to open the doors and sleep comfortably. Two days later temps rose and ac unit completely failed. Handyman came out, said it was not an easy fix and stated the owner would contact us shortly and probably find us another place to stay. So we spent the afternoon packing up. Owner contacted us 3 hours later stating that someone would be there in an hour to set up portable ac. Temps upstairs never got below 71 so pretty uncomfortable for sleeping. Owner apologized and gave us a 50 refund, it should have been atleast a full nights refund. We will not be using them anymore. them again. Loved the

Me and my husband spent our honeymoon here. It was a beautiful and cute little cabin on the water. Very peaceful and beautiful. We enjoyed our mornings on the balcony, drinking coffee, listening to the water. Fireplaces in the bedroom and downstairs were nice as well.

The creek is so calming the only wildlife we saw were deer, we did find lots of golfballs from the course across the way in the water to take home. The pond is nice too, my husband caught bluegill galore nothing bigger. He still thinks something bigger is in there! The kitchen was fully furnished had everything we needed to cook after we went grocery shopping. The bed was so comfortable! The bathroom was clean and big enough for 2 in and out of the shower! The decks at night were so peaceful listening to the streams...I could go on and on! I wanted to stay forever but life calls! Thank you for being exactly what we needed!

We enjoyed the creek off the back porches, and my husband loved fishing in the pond. Bug repellent candles were even provided for the porches. Things of note: It is about a 20 minute drive to Downtown Gatlinburg. You cannot walk to Downtown Gatlinburg from this cabin. We were fine with this though because we wanted a more private cabin. Regarding the fishing - we didn’t see many fish in the creek. My husband thought it was maybe too shallow; however, there are plenty of rocks to jump around on and the creek is loads of fun to play in! The private pond had plenty of fish. My husband caught blue gill and attempted to catch the elusive bass fish he kept seeing. The fish seemed to bite more when using live bait - we got night crawler worms from a general store up the road. The coffee machine takes ground coffee and a filter - it is not a k-cup. The cabin does have a smell, but it’s just the smell of an old cabin. I don’t think it’s a musty or dusty smell, just an old home smell. I don’t know how to explain it. It didn’t bother us (and I have horrible allergies) but we both described it as an old home smell upon entering the cabin. There was also a hint of a fireplace smoke smell, but we expected that with the two wood burning fireplaces. Finally, there is no washer or dryer in the cabin. We had a blast!

This was the perfect place! The stream’s bubbling sound was so comforting and peaceful. No need to travel to enjoy nature, it is all right there! Property is very tidy, neat and welcoming. Fishing right on the property! Easy to park, very quiet area. Highly recommended for a couple needing a getaway!

We have nothing but great things to say about this cabin! Booked it for a birthday/romantic getaway. We went fishing every morning and evening. We caught bass and blue gill in the pond. Unfortunately, we did not get anything in the creek but we were told after the fact our area did not get stocked with trout (we will know for next visit). Everything was clean and we had everything we needed. It did have an old cabin smell to it-but we got used to it and it wasn't bad. Would LOVE to know the history of the cabin-kept trying to find it online (we are history people).. Such a perfect getaway and we would definitely stay there again. We are going to post a video of the views/ pictures of cabin and fish we caught on social media. Its not yet posted but we plan to post this week to advertise because we loved it so much! First off,when we pulled up we knew that everything that was described was not in walking distance. You will have to drive to where down town u want to go. The cabin was filthy with dust everywhere and dead flys and bugs all in the window seals. There is no fishing in the stream. Not deep enough and pond is there to waste ur time casting the renters offered to come in and reclean unit ! Why wasn’t it clean when we got there. The hot tub was stain and smelled. It didn’t have any chemicals in float. Dirty ashtray full still on table. Shower stall had mole built up. Vent fan was knocking and toaster was full of old bread crumbs. Who doesn’t check up on their cleaning crew. We asked for a prorated refund and was told that I had to wait and see if unit got booked before I could see if I got any back. I think the cleaning crew owes for the days I left. Go somewhere else!!

My husband and I traveled down for a quick getaway to relax before the craziness of summer starts. It was a cute, clean cabin perfect for what we wanted. The sound of the stream behind us was very calming. We spent most of our time reading and soaking up the quiet. We will definitely be back. For being close to the main road, it was quiet and peaceful. The perfect place to unwind and catch up on some reading!

We loved the quiet location of this cabin. My fella enjoyed fishing in the pond and I enjoyed drinking my coffee on the deck, listening to the sounds of the stream. The bed was comfortable. The shower had good water pressure. Good location. We would definitely stay there again.

We stayed for a week for our one year wedding anniversary and had a great time. It was nice to drink our coffee by the creek and listen to nature. Very relaxing. The host was very responsive to any questions and was a great resource. Would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay. We loved the pond fishing and the sound of the river was so soothing. I would stay there again 100%! I just wish that we could have had access to the river from the cabin side. Wonderful host and comfy cabin to relieve stress! Overall we really loved it!

Lindsey Mill is the most unique place we have ever stayed. Very cozy and cute and it has all the little things. We were blessed with alot of snow and freezing temperatures. It was magically. The hosts were so kind and checked in on us and even helped us find open roads to get out. We will be back to see it in the spring.

I wish I could give a 4.5. The property itself was great. Well stocked in necessities, quiet, creek, living the life. The only .5 I wanted to take away was that the drop pin listed on VRBO makes it seem like it's legit in downtown Gatlinburg. It's east outside of, which was a further drive than we anticipated. Other than that, it's spot on. Great rental!Photo is across the water from the little street.
