Lakefront Home w/ Pier, Pool, Game Room & Fire Pit

Great spot for our family reunion for 32 people. The bedrooms and bathrooms worked well for our numbers. The layout of rooms is strange, and some rooms are disconnected from the main area. The pool was a wonderful addition added after our booking. However, the pump was broken and we had family members working on it to help clear up the pool throughout our stay. Beach box did send people to shock and clean the pool, but the pump being broken meant the shock didn't last long. The house itself was not clean. There were spider webs and dust everywhere. The bathroom in the bunk room was not clean and smelled horrible. The dock had fish pieces on the counter and the dock refrigerator couldn't be used as it was filthy. Poles and other equipment pictured were missing. The entire outdoor area had not been swept or cleaned, including the grill. The outdoor garbage had trash in it without a bag. Bedding was missing on several beds, they only had a mattress cover and a comforter. Towels were limited and we only had a handful of facecloths. The kitchens were oddly stocked and not organized or cleaned. The communication prior to our trip was limited. Several questions were unanswered. The response once we arrived was quick but not extremely helpful. We were told someone would come clean, then it was pushed to the next day, so we cleaned it ourselves. We left the place cleaner than it was. Towels were brought to us and apologies made. A new cleaning company will help with most issues.

The pool area is lovely as well, and a lot of fun for the kids.The house is HUGE! Having 12 bedrooms was perfect for our group of 35+. The kids loved the game room, and having two large living areas was great for spreading out. That being said, this is not a luxury property. There are weird quirks and oversights. The doorknobs are tricky and some of the light switches are broken. The countertops in the kitchen are cracked. There were only one scrubber and two hand towels total for 2 kitchens (no dish rags or pot holders at all!). One bedroom has a motion sensitive light that turns on every time you shift in bed. There are gorgeous porch and pool areas that have virtually no seating (we were sitting on our coolers since there were no chairs). Some of the arcade games were broken, there were no air hockey pucks, and the ping pong table net was broken. If you can overlook these things, it is a great property. If these things are going to drive you crazy, don't book. Overall, we're glad we stayed since it was a good value for the amount of space. But a little more attention to detail would go a long way.

Dock was very dirty, almost unusable due to spiders, dust, and webs. Garbage disposals, ice machine, washer, etc. did not work. Great communication with owner. Great location, we still had fun, but attention needs to be paid to property!

We stayed here for an executive offsite. The property has great potential — spacious with a nice fire pit — but unfortunately our stay was affected by multiple issues. A broken bed, stained bedding, bugs in rooms, and general cleanliness problems were disappointing. Several amenities didn’t work (coffee machine, BBQ tools, missing ping pong balls, etc.), and basic supplies like cleaning items and bin liners weren’t provided. With better upkeep and attention to detail, this could be an excellent rental, but at present it falls short of expectations.

Overall, the inside of the house was clean, but is in dire need of a good outside cleaning and some quality maintenance work is needed. Lots of broken stone/tile on the outside of house (tile and stone are falling off due to not being applied/glued correctly). They need to take a water hose and wash the complete outside including the stairs, windows sills and outside furniture (dead bugs everywhere). The pool has some black algae and the water is a murky green instead of blue (needs to be shocked and cleaned more frequently with this many guests constantly). Trash cans are always full (they only have trash pick up once a week, obviously that is not enough for a house this size). The kitchens are fully stocked with pots and pans, eating utensils and dinnerware. We also had plenty of towels. There are several windows that do not have blinds nor curtains to block out the early morning sun. None of the TV’s worked in any of the bedrooms. The TVs in the kitchen/family areas are the only ones that worked. The arcade games were way out of date and some of them did not work at all. Boat dock area was filthy with dirt, bugs and leftover fishing bait.Overall, our family had a wonderful time. I know some of these things are to be expected with a house on the lake, however, this house is expensive (6800.00 for three nights) to have al

The location is serene, beautiful, isolated and provides amazing views and sunsets on the lake. The property grounds are well kept as far as the landscaping and pool maintenance go. The home itself needs much repair as does the furniture. Boat house is dilapidated, filthy and not safe. The flooring downstairs is gapping and a tripping hazard, broken bed frame upstairs, broken armchair downstairs, pool cue holder leaning precariously against the wall, masonry falling off columns from the second floor to the first which was a HUGE safety issue. The (4) trash bins were full when we arrived and not picked up until the morning of our departure. We had nowhere to put our trash and with a group of 20, this became a huge problem, rather quickly. Management was quick to respond to my numerous calls and texts but never sent a Maintenance man to repair the broken bed frame or pick up the full garbage bins. We had to prop suitcases under the box springs of the king bed just to make it safe and useable. Too many problems to troubleshoot and too many hazards to avoid. Great for large groups who have low expectations.

Unfortunately, so many things (ice makers, light bulbs, dryer, disposal, sink drain, TV remotes) were non-functional, and the game room that looked so great had broken or missing parts to almost all games: No air hockey puck, broken ping pong table, etc. Rooms with no working lights (probably bulbs), a shower with no handle, and other problems were everywhere. Yard service came during our reservation. Finally, the A/C in part of the house quit working the day before our check-out. I called the assistance number and was assured help was on the way. Six hours and a lot of sweat later, I told them not to send help. We were checking out in the morning, and I was not waiting up for maintenance. House locks are so worn they hardly work, so not only did we have trouble getting in, we couldn't lock up when we left.

Wonderful location. Plenty of beds and baths. Arrangement of rooms was interesting. Walmart delivery was available and we did use. None of the ice makers (including fridges) worked, so had to purchase ice. There was no place that all 19 of us could sit, visit or eat together. The pool chemistry needs some work. More outdoor seating would have been nice. Only one of the boat lifts worked. We probably will not be returning.

The outdoor space is amazing – however, the boat house is in disrepair and we did not feel comfortable having the children out there. There are a lot of maintenance issues (driveway gate not operable in quite some time, no hot water to two of the bathrooms, upstairs stove stopped working, downstairs dishwasher did not work, some of the exterior locks did not work, etc.) Gameroom was large and had a lot of promise, but half the arcade games did not work, there was no ping pong equipment, no air hocky puck, etc so most of it was unusable and not what was advertised. We also see that a lot of these issues were repeatedly noted in 2024 reviews and were not addressed.

Property management quickly responded to messages and was easy to reach. Now the negatives (all of which were brought to the attention of property management throughout our stay via pictures and emails). The house was not clean. There were mouse droppings in the kitchen cabinets and drawers. We found an old bag of donuts in the cabinets and old sugar caked in a container on the counter. There were items in several bedroom drawers, including screws and clothing). The master bath shower and one sink did not drain properly. Also the homeowner was installing a pool on the side of the house, to which we were told would not impact our stay. However, when we arrived there were trucks and workers moving about the property. Though we asked that work cease during our stay, we were told the work would continue. Workers were on sight everyday to include pouring gunite at 6:30AM on Saturday morning with several workers and 5-6 commercial trucks accessing the yard and driveway. The only thing the property management offered was to come by to look at the master shower and sink; however, we declined because we felt our family reunion trip was intruded upon enough and we opted to use other available sinks/showers. There's more but suffice it to say I would not stay at this house again or recommend it.

House was large with plenty bedrooms. A lot of maintenance needs to be done. Bricks falling from columns could be dangerous. All appliances did not work. Arm on chair was broken and several holes in the walls. Yard people came and mowed while everyone in pool. Did not blow loose grass cutting off of concrete. Bathroom showers and tub needed more cleaning. I have stayed in VRBO homes for many years and this one was very disappointing, especially for the price. I don’t want to be so negative but I thought you should know. Also many doors were broken 0

Hated that the ice machine did not work. Some of the bed linen was not clean, big problem with cricket in the downstairs kitchen in the food. One of the bricks from the porch fell and almost hit a guest in the head. Lots of spider webs next we will have to come early to clean the webs before we have our team building activities outside. Other than this complains from the guest everything was great. Love it.

We stayed for a women's retreat. I am going to start this review with the positives. Home was in a great location, it was spacious and a/c unit worked well. Lots of dishes for cooking which is a huge plus for rentals. Now here is where we have to highlight some issues. Rental was not cleaned properly, there were bugs in beds(not bedbugs) maybe beetles, bugs all over stairs in master room, carpets, furniture and rugs were filthy. Even bedspreads had stains. Property shows signs of neglect especially with furniture new cleaners that take pride in their work is needed, needs major furniture upgrades. A house of this magnitude should have more pride taken in it. Also pool cleaners didn't come until the end of our last day. Overall nice location, plenty of space but definitely needs work.

One group of 16 year olds, one group of 18 year olds, and four adults we all felt like we had our own home withon s home. We ate and played together but the home was spacious enough to give the kids time to themselves. This place was perfect for our nine. While the outdide needed blowing, the inside was very clean. Again, we could not have found a more perfect place!

This place was huge!!! If your looking for a nice huge place to enjoy some family time then this is the perfect house!

We had a wonderful stay celebrating our family Christmas. There were beds for everyone and enough room so that we could be all together or separate. Although the weather didn't cooperate completely the house and property were perfect for us and we all had a great time. Many memories were made.

This house is as amazing as it sounds. We utilized the house for a work offsite and it was perfect. The ample bedrooms and bathrooms made it easy to have 10 co-workers housed in the same location while providing everyone their own personal space. The amenities are great, being right on the lake with your own boat house, made it easy to rent a pontoon and jet skies. The private pool and outdoor decks are great for hanging out in the cooler temperatures. The 2 kitchens are fully stocked and made meal prep a breeze. The best part was the service. The host is very responsive and attentive. We noticed that one section of the house wasn't cooling when we arrived and notified them. They were out immediately and resolved the issue. I highly recommend this house for larger family gatherings or work retreats, as there is plenty to do for entertainment, plenty of space for connecting and relaxing. I can't wait to get back there again in the future.

There are a lot of maintenance issues (driveway gate not operable in quite some time, no hot water to two of the bathrooms, upstairs stove stopped working, downstairs dishwasher did not work, some of the exterior locks did not work, etc.) Gameroom was large and had a lot of promise, but half the arcade games did not work, there was no ping pong equipment, no air hocky puck, etc so most of it was unusable and not what was advertised. We also see that a lot of these issues were repeatedly noted in 2024 reviews and were not addressed.

This house is as amazing as it sounds. We utilized the house for a work offsite and it was perfect. The ample bedrooms and bathrooms made it easy to have 10 co-workers housed in the same location while providing everyone their own personal space. The amenities are great, being right on the lake with your own boat house, made it easy to rent a pontoon and jet skies. The private pool and outdoor decks are great for hanging out in the cooler temperatures. The 2 kitchens are fully stocked and made meal prep a breeze. The best part was the service. The host is very responsive and attentive. We noticed that one section of the house wasn't cooling when we arrived and notified them. They were out immediately and resolved the issue. I highly recommend this house for larger family gatherings or work retreats, as there is plenty to do for entertainment, plenty of space for connecting and relaxing. I can't wait to get back there again in the future.

This is a beautiful property overall. It is right on the lake, and has a covered (but cobwebby) dock where you can watch the sunset. The amazing deck area has a built in firepit and seating. The pool area is lovely as well, and a lot of fun for the kids.The house is HUGE! Having 12 bedrooms was perfect for our group of 35+. The kids loved the game room, and having two large living areas was great for spreading out. That being said, this is not a luxury property. There are weird quirks and oversights. The doorknobs are tricky and some of the light switches are broken. The countertops in the kitchen are cracked. There were only one scrubber and two hand towels total for 2 kitchens (no dish rags or pot holders at all!). One bedroom has a motion sensitive light that turns on every time you shift in bed. There are gorgeous porch and pool areas that have virtually no seating (we were sitting on our coolers since there were no chairs). Some of the arcade games were broken, there were no air hockey pucks, and the ping pong table net was broken. If you can overlook these things, it is a great property. If these things are going to drive you crazy, don't book. Overall, we're glad we stayed since it was a good value for the amount of space. But a little more attention to detail would go a long way.

Great house, great location, great rooms space. Quite a few maintenance items needed to be addressed to have the pictures match the actual condition. Dock was very dirty, almost unusable due to spiders, dust, and webs. Garbage disposals, ice machine, washer, etc. did not work. Great communication with owner. Great location, we still had fun, but attention needs to be paid to property!

This is a great location for anyone traveling from the Houston area. The house has 12 bedrooms (one bedroom is a tiny-tiny room with bunk beds). Overall, the inside of the house was clean, but is in dire need of a good outside cleaning and some quality maintenance work is needed. Lots of broken stone/tile on the outside of house (tile and stone are falling off due to not being applied/glued correctly). They need to take a water hose and wash the complete outside including the stairs, windows sills and outside furniture (dead bugs everywhere). The pool has some black algae and the water is a murky green instead of blue (needs to be shocked and cleaned more frequently with this many guests constantly). Trash cans are always full (they only have trash pick up once a week, obviously that is not enough for a house this size). The kitchens are fully stocked with pots and pans, eating utensils and dinnerware. We also had plenty of towels. There are several windows that do not have blinds nor curtains to block out the early morning sun. None of the TV’s worked in any of the bedrooms. The TVs in the kitchen/family areas are the only ones that worked. The arcade games were way out of date and some of them did not work at all. Boat dock area was filthy with dirt, bugs and leftover fishing bait.Overall, our family had a wonderful time. We stayed for a women's retreat. I am going to start this review with the positives. Home was in a great location, it was spacious and a/c unit worked well. Lots of dishes for cooking which is a huge plus for rentals. Now here is where we have to highlight some issues. Rental was not cleaned properly, there were bugs in beds(not bedbugs) maybe beetles, bugs all over stairs in master room, carpets, furniture and rugs were filthy. Even bedspreads had stains. Property shows signs of neglect especially with furniture new cleaners that take pride in their work is needed, needs major furniture upgrades. A house of this magnitude should have more pride taken in it. Also pool cleaners didn't come until the end of our last day. Overall nice location, plenty of space but definitely needs work.

The location is serene, beautiful, isolated and provides amazing views and sunsets on the lake. The property grounds are well kept as far as the landscaping and pool maintenance go. The home itself needs much repair as does the furniture. Boat house is dilapidated, filthy and not safe. The flooring downstairs is gapping and a tripping hazard, broken bed frame upstairs, broken armchair downstairs, pool cue holder leaning precariously against the wall, masonry falling off columns from the second floor to the first which was a HUGE safety issue. The (4) trash bins were full when we arrived and not picked up until the morning of our departure. We had nowhere to put our trash and with a group of 20, this became a huge problem, rather quickly. Management was quick to respond to my numerous calls and texts but never sent a Maintenance man to repair the broken bed frame or pick up the full garbage bins. We had to prop suitcases under the box springs of the king bed just to make it safe and useable. Too many problems to troubleshoot and too many hazards to avoid. Great for large groups who have low expectations.

Wonderful location. Plenty of beds and baths. Arrangement of rooms was interesting. Walmart delivery was available and we did use. None of the ice makers (including fridges) worked, so had to purchase ice. There was no place that all 19 of us could sit, visit or eat together. The pool chemistry needs some work. More outdoor seating would have been nice. Only one of the boat lifts worked. We probably will not be returning.

We stayed at this property for our Senior Trip. There was so much to do between fishing, the pool and the game room. The kids had a great trip. The property was perfect for our group of 18.
